Due to the luck thread starters have, I thought I'd mark a place for the second thread as we are so chatty!

Here's to BFPs for us all :-)

Just popped in for a lurk... Congrats Popinda! hope everyone else is well xx

Newbie2 · 27/06/2012 19:38

My theory is by thread 2013 we will all have buns in the oven :)

Newbie2 · 27/06/2012 19:39

Pinkie how's life on the other side? Have you seen the midwife yet?

DulcetMoans · 27/06/2012 19:41

pinkie! I was going to say all the BFP ladies have ditched us but there you are! Glad you are still lurking. Please tell us what its like on the other side as newbie said!

annabegins24 · 27/06/2012 19:52

Hi girls, I'm still here, just wondering if this is possible..?
Got my implant out 12 days ago, 3 days after it was out got a 4 day light bleed which I thought was af. I dtd about 4 times in these 12 days. I've got most prg symptoms bar sore boobs. Dh and I have been teetotal for about 2 years now we live really healthy lifestyles...just wondering if it could be possible. I'm waiting on ebay poas to arrive, cant go to shop as I live in a small town...I would set chins wagging!

Popinda · 27/06/2012 21:22

Thank you again! just added a pic of my hpt! cant stop looking at it!
also was thinking that we should start tradition, that whoever gets the bfp should start another thread. Hopefully this will bring the luck to other ladies! what do you think? I am going to start it as this thread is almost full anyway.

You need to make your profile public so we can see the picture, Pop :-)

Thanks pop. I got myself on board the new thread!

I don't really have an answer anna as I'm not clued up on implant. It sounds possible but not necessarily probable but like I said, I don't know.. Hope you get your tests soon to find out. Waiting is the worst bit!

Newbie2 · 27/06/2012 22:11

Have you all left? :(

alwyn · 27/06/2012 22:12

Nah, there's still 64 (well, 63 now) posts to go!

Pinkie29 · 27/06/2012 22:20

Life on the other side... I can only speak for myself but boy it's tough! I never thought it would be so hard! I've had sore boobs since a week before my bfp, had to buy maternity bras at 5 weeks as I'd already gone up a cup size, at 6 and a half weeks the 'morning' sickness set in and oh my god it's been awful, I haven't actually been sick I've just felt like I'm about to throw up for a week now and its day and night! Been off work as literally couldn't move for the nausea and tiredness and am living off crackers and soup!! Totally lost my appetite too Sad

Today has been okish (touch wood!) I'm 7 and a half weeks now saw the midwife last week, went fine they took our medical histories my bloods and urine sample, said I'll start to feel better around weeks 12-14 and all the sickness/exhaustion is a good sign that everything is progressing nicely, I'm still getting some af type cramps but she's said it's totally normal especially with first babies as the womb is stretching and growing for the first time, I still have to pinch myself some mornings! Dp is like a kid at Xmas and cant wait!! Just waiting for our scan date now but should be towards the end of July Smile

NicolaHazel · 27/06/2012 22:22

Awww...I hope you feel better soon, Pinkie. :-)

Just think how all of it will be worth it in a very short while!

OP posts:
EchoDragon · 27/06/2012 22:30

anna you could well be. My first cycle was about 30 days post implant. Tho I missed post removal bleed so actually almost 70 days all together. Just test and see best way to go really.

pinkie sounds like your having a tough time.

pop what dose of EPO did you take?

Pinkie29 · 27/06/2012 22:54

I actually had a little cry to dp on Sunday was just feeling so rough, the tiredness is unreal I've never known anything like it! Keep trying to tell myself it's all worth it in the long run but february seems soooo far away... Patience isn't a virtue of mine haha , still I guess I've got it far easier than those who already have children

alwyn · 27/06/2012 22:56

Well, think I'm out for this cycle. Just got what looks like the start of ERTD when I went to the loo.

Oh well, at least I can get acquainted with my clearblue monitor!

Popinda · 28/06/2012 06:02

alwyn sorry to hear that! I'm sure with clear blue monitor you will be pg in no time!
echo I took 3000mg a day for about only 4 days as I was quite far in my cycle. But as soon as I started to take it I ov'd! And had so much ewcm like never before! That's why I'm 'blaming' epo for getting pg! Grin

NicolaHazel · 28/06/2012 07:17

Sorry AF got you, Alwyn :-(

Here's to the next cycle.

OP posts:
Christelle2207 · 28/06/2012 08:14

Oh dear sorry alwyn. Pinkie- sorry you're so I'll but it is good news in a way. Heave you told your work yet- do wonder how I would approach that one, I haven't told them I am trying but they know I am if I was blatantly ill that would confirm their suspicions!

Christelle2207 · 28/06/2012 08:14

So ill!

BB01 · 28/06/2012 10:01

I've tried to work it out but what is DTD?? NutBiscuit, you hit the nail on the head!!

DulcetMoans · 28/06/2012 10:07

BB - it's 'doing the deed'. A polite way to say shagging. haha! I only worked out what 2ww was this week. New ones keep popping up all the time.

Sorry you feel so ill pinkie. Like the others said though, it will be worth it. Feb is a long time away but hopefully you won't feel so awful all the way through! Just keep thinking of the baby Christmas shopping you can do!

Newbie2 · 28/06/2012 11:15

Are we staying on this thread then? I can't track TTC symptoms and Mumsnet threads too...would send me over the edge Grin

DulcetMoans · 28/06/2012 12:01

Should we fill this one up anyway? We can drive ourselves crazy in two places!!

NicolaHazel · 28/06/2012 12:07

We should fill it really!!
