Shouts into the internet mist

"LIME!!!!!!!"

LimeLeafLizard · 05/06/2012 23:03

Through the internet mist the echo reverberates, and I have been racing home from my weekend away...

I took my mooncup with me, and two internet cheapies, in case I felt the urge to POAS. Saturday, 11dpo, day of the party, I wanted to find out whether I could drink... so POAS and BFN.

This morning, just as we were about to leave, I POAS again, and there was a faint line. DH declared this inconclusive and has been in denial all the way home. We got back about half an hour ago, did a superdrug test, and even he agrees, we have a BFP!

I have loads of catching up to do with all your news now. I just spotted that Spring you are still pregnant which is wonderful news.

Pipbin · 05/06/2012 23:04

Lime Grin I am so excited and pleased for you& how brilliant and positive to get a bfp! I hope you'll be sticking around for a bit as I imagine you'll be a big miss if you dash off. Truly lovely news to end bank holiday weekend though. When is you estimated due date?

No exciting news here except 1 day past ov and know idea when to test due to cycle length. I think the last date af could be due is 17 and earliest is 11. I think I may test on 13 which makes it 9 days past ov plus they say it's lucky for some! If I can hold out longer I will but don't want to be stressing each time I go to the toilet, I'd rather be put out of my misery earlier as I find that bit really stressful.

Wiggy29 · 05/06/2012 23:15

Ps- big radio 2/4/6 fan here, depends on time of day& my mood really.

LimeLeafLizard · 05/06/2012 23:20

Thanks Wiggy Grin. I will definitely be staying round here. I might well join a due date thread as well later, when I'm more confident that this one will stick around, but I would miss everyone here too much to jump ship.

DD would be is 12 Feb 2013.

I listen to radio 4 and 2 sometimes too! Blush

Pipbin · 05/06/2012 23:22

Looks like I was shouting as Lime was announcing the first BFP of the thread!

I wonder if we could be the first ever 100% BFP thread?

Congratulations!

Purple, sorry you were out. And I tested without you [crap POAS buddy] - Sorry again. Hope this month is better for you.

Wiggy sounds like you've had some low moments these last few days, glad things are looking up a bit now with your CBFM.

Dilly, being away for a few days has really helped me with NOT symptom spotting this month. I haven't had a moment to myself to think.

Hello, HelloKitty. Hope you are enjoying the thread.

LimeLeafLizard · 05/06/2012 23:33

Pipbin Grin at thought of 100% BFPs. I hope so, truly.

Pipbin · 05/06/2012 23:38

Well the odd are looking good so far Lime. Grin

Lime - that's brilliant news - I'm so happy for you. Congratulations Grin

Just checking in and marking my place really. Nothing to report - think I'm going to ov very soon but since I'm out every night this week, we'll be quite lucky to DTD.

Leftwingharpie · 06/06/2012 06:09

Wiggy you will know by Fathers Day then! Smile

Leftwingharpie · 06/06/2012 06:10

Lime congratulations on the BFP and best wishes for the pregnancy x

Purpledragon · 06/06/2012 07:00

Congrats lime, good for you.

Wiggy good luck testing. Don't worry bout your cycle length, if you know when ov'ed then it's not relevant anyway.

Crazytictac · 06/06/2012 07:13

Ohh limeleaf :o. That is fantastic!! Congratulations, am thrilled for you.

Dillydollydaydream · 06/06/2012 08:05

LLL
Yay congratulations on your BFP!!! How exciting.

My AF is due 13th June but not 100% as my cycles might not be regular yet after mc so I'll just have to wait and see I guess.

Hope everyone had a nice Jubilee Weekend :)

Wiggy29 · 06/06/2012 08:48

Leftwing- my heart did a little flutter when I read your comment. I would love to be able to tell dp that on father's day.

Purple- cheers, that's reassuring to know. I guess it's just a case of playing waiting game now.

Dilly- we're due around the same time&i'm also unsure of cycle as had 31&36 day cycle since I came off the pill. When/do you plan to poas or just wait for af?

Lime- did you have a hunch for a bfp this month or any symptoms? Has it sunk in a bit more yet?

I had a chat with do again last night&hot a bit upset.he said he wished I would talk to him a bit more about stuff&asked what he could do to help. He went on net&looked at foods that helped his swimmers (which was basically just a healthy diet)& we talked about what might happen if I get bad news at Hosp in September, facing up to this&talking snout it has at least made me feel better.

Double Grin at thought of a thread full of bfp. I can't think of anything better.

Wiggy29 · 06/06/2012 08:49

Oh dear, ignore typos please! On my phone.

Purpledragon · 06/06/2012 09:19

wiggy do you know the normal length of your LP? If you track when you ov and you know this, the two things together solve the mystery of your cycle length. By this I mean once you ov, you just add the LP days (should be fairly stable) and this is when you expect to miss your period. You see what I mean?
Anyway what I said before stands - it's much more accurate to judge testing date off dpo than a cycle when you don't know and just go off total cycle length. Perhaps this is obvious to you but anyway....

Congrats again lime

SilentMammoth · 06/06/2012 09:33

Lime am so happy and delighted for you! Please stick about as we would miss you too much if you left!

Am, ahem, getting to grips with cervical position again. I got reasonably good at it last time but I do recall our took me about three cycles to be confident. It paid off though as was the give away I was ovulating eight days early one month which wad the month I conceived the sleepy one year old snuggling on my lap. So up do think it's a very valuable secondary sign, trouble is I think my cervix has changed again since having dd4 so kind of having to learn it all over again.

Does anyone else check cp?

Treats · 06/06/2012 10:58

Silent - no I don't but I'm thinking about it, as it seems to be the one thing that's pretty infallible as a sign. With temps, you only know that you ov'd after the fact; it's easy to mistake other (ahem) fluids for EWCM and you might miss the LH surge with an OPK.

Having said that, I had an ultra low temp this morning, which I know has been characteristic of the mornings of ov day on the last three cycles. So I hauled DH out of the shower and got him to DTD right away Blush. What's a girl to do? I'm out every night this week.......

TuesdayNightClub · 06/06/2012 11:11

Lime woohoo! Wonderful news I am grinning away here for you, I'm on the train so look like a total loon but am so very pleased for you Grin here's to a full house of BFPs!

I am a Radio 4 addict, was brought up on and other than a brief dalliance with Radio 1 as a teenager Blush I am Fourling.

Purpledragon · 06/06/2012 11:16

Treats infallible if you happen to be able to figure it out. I'm completely hopeless at it, good luck! Good work on dragging out of shower.
