Well the witch has caught up with me at last. So I have decided its time to start a new thread as I think our christmas reindeer need a rest.
So step aboard ladies and join me for a hunt for the golden egg.

Bored now. Trying to sell my house too.
Why is it that all the this I want to do I can't actually do anything about.
I can't make myself get pg any quicker, or make the TWW go any quicker.
I can't make someone buy my house either.

Sad pipbin, sending you hugs xxx

Had my scan today. Still only have 1 fibroid so that's good news.
Lady decided to do an internal scan too Shock and I got to see my cs scar Hmm
Nice Wink

Pipbin · 24/08/2012 20:25

1 fibroid is good news. So did you see your CS scar from the other side as it were?

OP posts:
ShiftyFades · 24/08/2012 21:01

Yeah, freaky stuff! So now I've seen the outside, the inside but haven't seen the middle layer... Hopefully that'll never happen Wink

ShiftyFades · 24/08/2012 21:02

And I've been fanny farting all evening... Blush

Pipbin · 24/08/2012 22:48

Haha. Oh dear, fanny farts are hard to suppress too.

More people coming to view the house on Tuesday morning. They'd better buy it. I might lock them in the cellar until they agree.

OP posts:
ShiftyFades · 24/08/2012 23:17

That's a good tactic Wink
We tried to sell last year... Had a few offers but weren't enough and, more importantly, there was nothing we wanted to buy.
We now have planning permission for an extension (just need another bedroom for our little bungalow) Grin

Pipbin · 24/08/2012 23:21

We are in a tiny tiny terrace. No room to extend. Enough room to fit a baby in if we need to.

blackcatsdancing · 25/08/2012 08:12

we lived in a tiny 1 bed flat when i had my DC. It really was very ok for the first year- and we had my ex's child stay alt weekends too (they went on the sofa bed). After the first year i really felt we had to move and sometime just before DC turned 2 we were in new 2 bed terraced house with lovely little garden. As long as you can fit a cot in your own bedroom it will be ok!

glad to hear still only the one fibroid shifty

Pipbin · 25/08/2012 13:04

No way could we fit a cot, or even Moses basket, in our room.

Well FF seems to think I'm 3 DPO so we are into the TWW here.
My test day is the day the children come back at school!

OP posts:
blackcatsdancing · 25/08/2012 17:10

your room must be even smaller than my current bedroom is. If i ever manage to have another baby then the cot will wedge up against my bed and the wall but the chest of drawers (the only other piece of furniture) will have to go into the lounge- unconventional but hey who cares! Longer term i'd swap bedrooms with my child who has a lovely big room and is about to go to uni anyway.

do you work in a school pipbin?

i left my used OPK out on the side at work. Hope the cleaner has the sense to bin it. Luckily i'm usually first in so can hide it if its been set aside for safe keeping. Cleaner is male so probably be clueless, esp as its a internet cheapie.
i didnt even get a chance to read it properly so shall have to do another. More EWCM this morning. Odd.

Pipbin · 25/08/2012 17:38

I'm a teacher.
I doubt a make cleaner would know what an opk was. If I do one at work I'm sure to hide it though. Looks too much like a hpt.

I guess we could move the wardrobe out. Or just struggle tripping over a cot in our room until they were big enough to go into their own room.

secondary or primary? i'm wondering 'cos of all the stuff in the papers about GCSE band grades at the mo. Must be awful for pupils and teachers. I do wonder what effect it must have on young people to be told the exam they have worked hard towards and their resulting grade is a result of dumbing down. Not going to debate whether exams are easier or not but i just think the psychological impact that must have is a big one, especially on the more sensitive pupils. It would have upset me.

anyway into shag week. going to try hard to DTD every other day.

Pipbin · 26/08/2012 09:55

I teach Primary. So not having to deal with all the GCSE grade stuff but we still can't do right for doing wrong.
I did my maths GCSE about 5 years ago and it was harder than when I did it first time round 20 years ago. However the reason that do many more people were getting As was grade inflation.
Back when I did GCSEs to get an A you had to get 90%. Recently to get an A*, which didn't exist when I did GCSEs, you have to get 80%.
Don't quote me on those figures but it's something like that.

well a very positive OPK at noon today. Luckily we DTD last night but i will be jumping DP again tonight!
will test again later to find out more.

blackcatsdancing · 27/08/2012 08:44

temp up this morning. may well have ovulated in the early hours. how odd, very early for me. Anyway another positive OPK last night, DTD again. shall rest today but not make same mistake as last month and stop before i've seen the sustained shift in temp they talk about!

Pipbin · 27/08/2012 09:35

Good idea. You don't want to miss it by stopping too early.

i can't believe how many pregnant there seem to be. I think we're having a baby boom aren't we? I swear almost every 10th woman of reproductive age looked pregnant when i went out today. Slightly freaky!

OPK less dark today so surge is over. Am expecting temp to still be up tomorrow making me almost certainly 2DPO tomorrow. I must be a just a few days behind you pipbin. Must admit to getting fed up with temping, OPks etc. In a way almost feel like just letting what will be happen. I know that will reduce our chances dramatically as we won't be able to have sex alternate days throughout my cycle, though we could probably manage that from CD10 to CD18 which covers my cycles so far recorded. Just want to get on with other things and am slightly in limbo- not helped by DC moving out within next 3 weeks.

Pipbin · 27/08/2012 19:52

Oh everyone is pregnant, everyone.

I'm 5DPO today, due to test next Wednesday.

Where is DC off to in the next 3 weeks?

OP posts:
blackcatsdancing · 28/08/2012 10:12

DC is off to study in London on a creative course. sorry for being so vague, i do like keeping anonymous. DC is a hard worker and talented in this field and got onto an extremely oversubscribed course. I'm very proud and just hope they will enjoy the degree course and get paid work at the end of it!

blackcatsdancing · 28/08/2012 10:17

temp still up. DP asked where i was in my cycle last night- when i offered him a vitamin- then when i said mid cycle he proceeded to leap on me (though not sure that conjures up the right picture, it wasn't like batman or anything) . Given recent reluctance/ mixed feelings this was pleasing. However mid way through we stopped for a break and when i got back into bed after visiting the loo he was fast asleep! Luckily i was already fairly convinced i'd ovulated and we DTD day before so I didn't prod him awake again.

blackcatsdancing · 29/08/2012 08:32

who is left on here apart from me and pipbin??

very quiet. anyway, 3DPO so officially in 2WW. Think this may be the last cycle i chart for as I need to move on.

Squirrel77 · 29/08/2012 09:09

I'm still here - hi guys! Looks like we are all in the 2WW!

Yes, everyone in the world is pregnant but us. Not one but TWO friends posted pictures of their pregnant bellies on facebook yesterday - aaarghh.

Glad to hear the HSG went well Pip

Well so much for my long weekend shagathon. DTD on Friday night but Mr S unwilling for the rest of the weekend (long story). Anyway, I was pretty upset as O was predicted for Monday. But got back from holiday and plugged in my temp data and FF now thinks I O'd on Sunday. I also put this month's temps into TCOYF which gives me a completely different O day two days earlier! What do you reckon...here are the charts:

TCOYF Chart

Pipbin · 29/08/2012 09:24

Hi. 7DPO now here.
Good to hear someone else is about Squirrel. I've looked at your fertility friend chart but tcoyf won't let me look at it.
Could be either the day that FF said or the Friday couldn't it. Try taking out the opk and see what happens. I had a positive opk on both day 17 and 17 this month but if I leave both of them in FF shifts my ov from 20 to 18. My FF chart here
