Well the witch has caught up with me at last. So I have decided its time to start a new thread as I think our christmas reindeer need a rest.
So step aboard ladies and join me for a hunt for the golden egg.

Normally I would agree that the surge was detected but ovulation didn't happen for what ever reason but it's odd that the exact same, including timing, happened last month.

Who's up next to test?

Pipbin · 20/07/2012 21:16

It's all gone quiet hasn't it silent

All signs would seem to indicate that I ov'd yesterday. DH has been very good at 'getting the job done' the last couple of nights despite both of us being knackered.

Oh that is good pip. Due to test on tues. Not hopeful, dh was on exercises at inopportune moment!

Pipbin · 20/07/2012 21:52

How dare he. Don't these men and their employers know that there is actually about twenty minute a month when you can get pregnant and you need men back home for that.

Hi guys - it has gone quiet around here.

Just stating AF here on 10dpo :-( spotting now, should be heavier tomorrow or day after. At least I have my scan to look forward to this month. How sad is that?!?

Hope you're all doing well. Fingers crossed for you silent!

Pipbin · 21/07/2012 22:48

Oh hell Last so sad that AF has arrived.
Very quiet here isn't it.

Ahem. I tested this morning. A Tesco's cheapie

There was a line........

I don't actually believe it. I've splashed out on a tenner for a CB digital and will test again tomorrow morning. Don't want to jinx it with anything less than FMU.

I don't believe it because I'm only on CD29 and have had NO ov signs at all. I honestly thought that I STILL hadn't ov'd this month - or perhaps that the brown spotting I had on Tuesday was an ov bleed. My last cycle was 35 days and all the ones before that were 31, so my period wasn't even late. I have no real idea when my period is due this month because I hadn't been tracking my temps and couldn't detect any CM.

But it was definitely a line. I asked DH several times to check. I left it on my dressing table and went out for the day and it was still a line when I got back.

If the CB digital says 'Pregnant' tomorrow then I shall call the doctor, tell my mum and start thinking about names. If it says 'Not Pregnant' tomorrow then I shall try to remember that I wasn't pregnant yesterday either and things were still OK.

oh my gosh!!!!!! yay treats!!!! Post post post!

Treats · 23/07/2012 06:43

A BFP!! I got a 'Pregnant' reading about a minute after I tested. DH insisted on waiting until the egg timer had gone to be sure, but it's definitely a BFP.

It also says that Conception took place 2-3 weeks ago, which is extraordinary. If 2-3 weeks means approx 17/18 days ago, then I'd only have been on CD12/13 - much much earlier than I would have assumed I would ovulate.

So there you have it - the Treats method - if I may call it that - to successful BFPs is to DTD every other day from the last day of your period to the first day of your next. I commend it to you all.

Obviously, there's a long way to go yet (due April 4th according to the due date calculator) but whatever happens, I know I'm still capable of achieving a pregnancy, which is a huge relief. Thank you all for being here ladies, and helping me through the last few months. I shall stick around until you're all safely graduated to the AnteNatal pages.......

Brilliant news Treats.
I know what you mean about 'whatever happens'. Just two lines on a test would make me so happy just to know I could get pregnant.

4 DPO down here and 10 to go. No spotting yet, which is good for me.

Pipbin · 23/07/2012 23:39

Looks like I spoke to soon.
Although I'm not sure if what I had counts as spotting. It was really thin light brown. Like someone had mixed some foundation with cm iyswim. Anyone know if that counts as spotting?
