Well the witch has caught up with me at last. So I have decided its time to start a new thread as I think our christmas reindeer need a rest.
So step aboard ladies and join me for a hunt for the golden egg.

Thanks for all your lovely messages. If there was such a thing as baby dust I would be sprinkling it with vigour all about this thread right now.

Pipbin - I wouldn't count that as spotting - but it depends on the circumstances, I think.

SilentMammoth · 24/07/2012 16:30

Not sure if that's spotting either. Sorry pip.

Felt really nauseous today but sure I'm about to come on (12dpo) plus I don't get ms til about six weeks' . ,

That said, I got home ten minutes ago from taking children to holiday club and decided to poaic.

Bfp.

Confirmed by sainsbueys own brand and a cb digital, which oddly enough said 2_3 weeks!!!! Was suprised to get a bfp at 12dpo at all!

I'm not am antenatal thread kind of girl so will stick around if that's ok. Thoughts, good wishes and prayers to you all x

blackcatsdancing · 24/07/2012 16:38

oh wow two positives in 2 days! congratulations silent well done, hope you have a healthy non-eventful pregnancy!

LimeLeafLizard · 24/07/2012 17:00

Mammoth - wow that is fantastic! The 'babydust' is obviously working despite it being a very un-MN accessory!

Congratulations!

We have a friendly pregnant with no 3/ 4/ 5 thread going so if you want to check it out as well as supporting the gang here, you're v welcome.

FX this is gets the ball rolling now and good luck for everyone.

Leftwingharpie · 24/07/2012 18:02

Congratulations Mammoth that's fantastic news! What a lucky day!

Pipbin · 24/07/2012 22:26

Congrats Silent.
This might be a lucky thread.

So ladies, advice please.
I'm not at work at the moment so I'm waking up, taking my temp them going back to sleep.
This morning I woke up and stuck my thermometer in my mouth and dozed until it went beep. It did and it said 35.87 which is low post o for me. I thought it was quick so I did it again and got 36.19, much more like a post temp.
Which one should I go with?

Treats · 25/07/2012 09:54

Silent - that's fab news!! Congratulations. Sounds like a very similar experience to mine - testing before AF was due but getting a 2-3 weeks reading. I've decided it's a good sign - it must mean high levels of HCG, right? Still nervously looking out for AF every time I go to the loo. I think I'll feel more relaxed next week if there's no bleeding this week. GP on Monday for referral to midwives and obstetrician.

Limeleaf - I took a sneaky peak at the Ante Natal clubs yesterday to see if there was a due in April 2013 yet, but didn't want to start one. I saw your thread and I think I will come and join you over there.

Pipbin - you're 5dpo? I wouldn't worry too much about one low post-ov temp. Put the higher one if it makes you feel better, but I shouldn't have thought it was particularly significant.

Pipbin · 25/07/2012 10:23

I'm 6dpo Treats I was hoping it was an implantation dip. Wink

OP posts:
LimeLeafLizard · 25/07/2012 10:50

Pip, that happened to me a few times, when the time taken to take the temp seemed quicker than usual the temp was lower. I wonder if half asleep my mouth was slightly open!! Forgive me, I've totally lost track - where are you up to with the doctors?

Treats see you there! People often seem to be on more than one thread anyway.

Pipbin · 25/07/2012 11:06

Just this minute come back from my second fertility clinic appointment.
Husband's SA was through the roof in its numbers!
They want to check my tubes and then after that clomid.

OP posts:
LimeLeafLizard · 25/07/2012 11:20

Well done your DH then! Good news on that front. Glad to hear you're making progress... when is the next appt? If I could make you pregnant by wishing... well you'd be there already.

Flyingwithoutwings · 25/07/2012 11:34

Congratulations Mammoth that's wonderful news Smile Grin Smile

Flyingwithoutwings · 25/07/2012 11:39

In other news.
Was in Hosp on Thurs night as DS had a fall at nursery (head & face against concrete Sad) and he started vomiting on Thurs evening with no symptoms of bug.
He was admitted and kept overnight
He's ok now, although he's not eating or drinking well.

Anyway, whilst there I had tummy cramps but couldn't test for ov'ing
Obviously was too exhausted to dtd on Fri evening Sad
But had cramps on Sat / Sundo dtd both nights - there may be an issue with those days as I was so sleep deprived that I can't remember actual days so could well be Sun & Mon Confused

Anyway, I'm on day19 now so ov will have passed.
I'm not holding out this month but... Will try the treats method next month Smile

Pipbin · 25/07/2012 11:47

Next app is in October and the appointment for the X-ray for my tubes should be before that.
Also I had a call from ClearBlue today saying that I could go on their trial thingy assuming I didn't go on clomid.

DH is a bit proud of himself. He was with me and there was a student doctor there too.. The fertility doctor said to the student chap 'you know I said this number never goes into double figures? Well this is 14%!' I didn't see the results but he showed them to DH. Motility was well over 50%. This is brilliant given that last time it was 25%. All he's done is take regular multi vitamins.

OP posts:
Flyingwithoutwings · 25/07/2012 13:25

Fantastic news pipbin
And the Clear Blue trial too - plenty to celebrate Grin

Pipbin · 25/07/2012 21:59

So where's everyone at?
I'm getting a bit lonely here.

Flyingwithoutwings · 25/07/2012 22:04

I'm here (keep lurking) and have resorted to THAT book in the hope I can join the "Grey baby boom"Wink

Pipbin · 25/07/2012 22:51

Just had a text from a friend to say that her baby arrived at 5 this afternoon.
Concieved on the second month of trying.
Happy for her and DH said 'our turn next' but still feel low.

blackcatsdancing · 26/07/2012 08:09

i'm still here, had some holiday leave and bit more coming so been busy.
sorry you're feeling down pipbin i guess hearing of your friends baby brings it closer to you what you still don't have. However on the plus side your partner's sperm improvement is amazing! and hopefully the x-ray will show your tubes are ok. Must seem like things are moving so slowly though.

fwiw on the 2 pregnancies i've had recorded on FF, neither showed an implantation dip.

flying hope DS is getting better, how scary.

I'm CD8, going to start on the OPKs today and also try to DTD alternate days as it is a good way to go. Not sure i'm seeing DP tonight though, we don't live together yet and usually have one night apart which will probably be today.

Crazytictac · 26/07/2012 08:13

Ah wow, congratulations silent. :) Brilliant news.

lime great to 'see' you back here. How are things going?

Sorry you're feeling a bit down pipbin, the longer it goes on the harder it gets eh? However, great news about your DH and one good thing is that you're always one step closer at each fertility appointment. What does the CB trial involve?

flying ooh hope your DS is ok. Poor little chap, bet you were worse than him! Think I will join you with the Treats method next month, but you never know, it could still be your month.

I'd be amazed if I was pregnant this month, sort of lost my mojo. Only DTD once around ovulation (Tmi I did have some EWCM though this month which has been largely absent in recent months). 3 DPO here.

Wonder how squirrel is getting on.

Pipbin · 26/07/2012 10:29

Feeling much better today.

I think what gets to me about the friend that has just had her baby is that she's DH's ex girlfriend! Weird I know but we get on really well. Also we were well into trying when she told us she was expecting and I had to run to the toilets to cry. Now the baby is here and we are no further on.

Still, now that I know that DHs SA results we so good, I know it should happen eventually.

7DPO here and no real spotting to speak of. Haven't been running since OV though as I tend to spot while running.
I asked the consultant about that and he said that he thought it could be my progesterone levels not keeping the lining of the uterus attached properly! Running would only exacerbate the problem.

OP posts:
Pipbin · 26/07/2012 21:26

I'm beginning to think I'm talking to myself here!
Anyone else out there or are you all pg already?

OP posts:
Flyingwithoutwings · 26/07/2012 22:45

Evening Smile
DS is finally drinking properly (he's been at nursery for 3 days and, bless them, they wrote down the time and quantities he drank each day). His eating is hit and miss but I can cope with that.
Should have seen his wee, it was the colour of mud Sad
So all is week on that front, and his wounds are barely noticeable too Smile
Good job as we have a gay wedding on Saturday.. It's a sign of the times when DS's first "wedding" is a civil ceremony!! Lol
Looking forward to it as its my best male friends getting hitched, should be fun Smile
I've been in an all day meeting today, son hard to concentrate in this heat...
Never mind, I had a great day though, and this company was very kind to me: posh coffee and lunch provided (even gave me grapes!)... Now THAT'S how to treat a Government auditor!!! Wink

Pip you are not alone my lovely. I am still awaiting the stork Sad
Your time will come [hugs]

Night night ladies Smile
