mrspear thats wonderful congrats!

nosleep I wandered onto that 'holy crap' thread last night in the depths of my metalling and you're right - this is a much more positive place! Congrats on your scan!

My symptoms continue to be AWOL so got a private scan this evening Blush and am just waiting to tell my DH when he gets home from work Blush Blush!

Happily saw a 8mm foetal pole, dated at 6+6 (thought 7+0 but know I ovulated after CD16 so thats fine) HB 112 and am now stepping away from Google as no good can come of it, the sonographer said over 100 was fine....seriously am I STILL metalling! Need someone to slap me!!

pebs good for you pushing for your investigations, you need them and the system is there to help people. Hope they go well and you'll be back on the TTC wagon soon.

OK, just going to figure out what I'll say to my poor DH - I promised him I wouldn't go for a scan by myself....he's going to be so Angry

StateofConfusion · 13/06/2012 20:40

Glad things were well squeaky

I am so pleased for you MrsPear, what a relief, and I think your letter is brilliant.

Oh marbles you poor thing take care of yourself xx

Moomin I'd take any advice offered, we had a run in with a private LL and wound up homeless for 6mnths, it was shit! Sorry things are so stressful

People can be so tactless Confused

How are things with your dear friend Martha I think of you both often xx

Well I have a scan tomorrow, that crept up on me and I'm metalling again that I'm imagining the movements and symptoms today I am 12+6 and still pregnant.

ConfusedMumDotCom · 13/06/2012 20:46

Just popping in to wish you luck for tomorrow State

Moominsarescary · 13/06/2012 21:43

Well I got it wrong, theyre actually saying they posted notice on the 29th of feb asking us to be out for the 30th of April.

We have paid two months rent since we should have left and they still didn't bother to contact us.

Anyway it looks like we will be taking the upside down house. We realy need to be moved and settled before they put in the stitch.

Good luck for tomorrow state (eats the chocolate)

Glad things are looking good squeaky

Sorry to gate crash ladies. I'm having a panic and just after some reassurance really. Super brief history- DS1 is 3 and in the last 18 months I have had 2 MMC (9 wks, discovered 12 wks and 8 wks discovered 9 wks) plus a miscarriage at 5 wks. I am now 7 wks pregnant again and been feeling sick had really sore boobs until today when I don't feel sick and my boobs feel much less tender. Now having a panic that that's it.. Thinking of getting private scan tomorrow ( already got one booked at hospital in a week when I will be 8 wks) but the thought of that moment when they tell you there's no heartbeat.. I can't face it again.... Wish I could rewind to the innocent ignorance of my first pregnancy where I didn't even think for a second anything would go wrong...
I know no one can know, just writing it down really.

kirrinIsland · 13/06/2012 23:35

So sorry marbles that's shit

school I had a private scan when I first found out, just the for the reassurance, and I would definitely do so again. I was so nervous when I went in I was shaking. Don't forget that symptoms often come and go in the early stages, so it's not necessarily anything to worry about. Though, you'r e right about sling the innocence once you've had a loss - it would be lovely to have that.

Congratulations to mrspear and nosleep

moomin Shock that's awful! Surely they can't get away with that?

confused sorry, I lose track a bit - but how long since your last lot of EWCM? Only, the return of that was my first symptom before my bfp?!

CheapTarnishedGlitter · 14/06/2012 08:04

sorry to hear your sad news marbles Look after yourself

school if you have that scan today fingers crossed for you that it goes well and you get some reassurance

Got even more weirded out about a superquick cycle last night when I started to feel really hot and unconfortable in bed last night - another sure sign for me that AF is about to say hello... and then wole up this monring to realise that it's actually just hot Blush I wonder if there's anything that us ladies don't metal about?!

ConfusedMumDotCom · 14/06/2012 08:06

Oooh Kirin it's been 4/5 days. You've got me thinking now as that happened with my last BFP. hmmm [optimistic face] Smile

StateofConfusion · 14/06/2012 08:12

Well if ds will stay at his friends to go to school ill be off to my scan in 15minutes.

I've been retching all morning, nerves or pregnancy? Who knows but I am metalling hard.

Moominsarescary · 14/06/2012 08:44

Good luck state

school I've only had private gender scans so no advice, but if you decide on one good luck and let us know how it goes

cheap yes it was very hot here last night too, I was metalling about how hot and unwell I felt and couldn't sleep. Think it was probably house stress.

Anyway when I finally did drop off at 1.30 ds woke up. He then got up again at 5.30. Dp got up with him but ds1 started a new summer job today and with all the noise and advice dp was giving out I couldn't get back to sleep. Anyway ds has just fell asleep in his breakfast so I am going to try and grab a nap!

nosleep think I want your name today, I had a look on your thread. Wow it must have been a real shock! Congrats and fingers crossed for you this time x

MrsPear · 14/06/2012 08:55

confused hope it is good news
And to all i have failed to mention sorry and hope your as well as can be

wilderumpus · 14/06/2012 11:19

good luck for your scan today state!

Sorry to hear about your mc's school, metalling totally understandable. good luck to you if you have your scan today... hope you ok.

hope you ok moomin, is weird that they let you carry on paying rent when you should have been leaving, I don't know why they didn't contact you about that. and you must be knacked, hope you get some sleep! I am crap at napping so always spend those kind of days bleary on caffeine and short tempered

I am ovulating today. that is completely not news but hopefully I'll be pregnant by tomorrow but am NOT thinking about this Drs later for an update on my depression diagnosis where I shall dance in and shout 'I am not depressed!' and finish with a display of jazz hands, for I am coping now. I even felt happy yesterday! :) :)

wilderumpus · 14/06/2012 11:20

strike through fail. more coffee needed.

StateofConfusion · 14/06/2012 11:38

Scan was fine, baby was sleeping upside down curled up and back to front Grin great heartbeat as soon as she touched my belly.

Unable to do nuchal fold so I'm having the old triple test which I'm fine with. Scans booked for 20, 32 and 37 weeks. Section pencilled in. GTT booked and more bloods.
Lots on info!

Had tummy ache since the scan though so ofc I'm worrying.

wilderumpus · 14/06/2012 11:52

well done state, lovely news :)

Great news on the scan state - so glad your hospital is organised. Did you get some good pictures? If you don't want to answer just ignore me and sorry if you have already addressed this but why the c-section and extra scans?

buggerlugs here is a link baby to see to see 6 weeks you have to scroll down a fair bit! Good luck

Has anybody any experience of trying to persuade doctors/midwifes that they are a high risk pregnancy? GP has me worried me by saying i am low risk but according to NICE guidelines i fulfill 5 separate reasons to be classified as high risk. I firmly believe that my son's early birth could have been prevented and therefore he shouldn't have a disability. But how do i not come across as some stupid hormonal woman?!

leedy · 14/06/2012 14:06

Great news on the scan, state - sounds like it was very reassuring.

StateofConfusion · 14/06/2012 15:25

mrspear extra scans are because I have a highish BMI and the planned section the consultant over views so they can choose the best delivery date. With dd I had 13 scans!

Section is because ds (pfb) had suspected iugr so they rushed me in for induction at 36wks, my body didn't react to anything, not even a millimeter dialated, so they gave up after a week of hand puppeting me and did elcs, dd (dc2) arrived rather quickly after ds, and they weren't happy to do trial of scar not knowing how my body would cope with labour and with the issues I had with my scar and then at 38wks they thought she had stopped growing so rushed for another elcs, so this time my consultants recomended we just agree that a section is best and I'm fine with that, makes planning easier :) and tbh having never had a contraction the whole thing terrifies me.

Got a pretty good pic but wriggler was curled up so tight and apparently my womb tips back but you can see its baby unlike my last one which was a blurry outline. --must lay off the cake--

Had an internal so they could get good measurements and I just feel really uncomfortable and achey, is that normal? I'm shattered too after 5hrs sleep and no nap haha!

StateofConfusion · 14/06/2012 15:29

Also mrspear print the relevant information and ask for an appointment to discuss some concerns, I'd also take any documents on your ds and perhaps before hand ask to see yours and his notes to help back yourself up and write down my key points/concerns and what you want to happen (as I have a scatter brain). You have every right to see them and state your own opinions. I hope you get a good outcome x

nosleepwithworry · 14/06/2012 15:30

still Grin

cant help it...today i am Grin and today i am pregnant!

I am absolutely DELIGHTED to be feeling sick...what a freak Smile

StateofConfusion · 14/06/2012 15:36

ConfusedMumDotCom · 14/06/2012 15:38

Today my TWW symptom spotting has officially begun.

CD17: period like cramping and sharp pains in left hand side of pelvis. This is clearly wind implantation.

ConfusedMumDotCom · 14/06/2012 15:38
