confused I definitely ovulated a bit early for the first few months after my mc. The month I ovulated at the "right" time, I got pg.

Moominsarescary · 10/06/2012 16:33

We only dtd for the first week after af finished, I think I must have ovulated realy early this month

Or ive mistaken bleeding for af which happened with ds3 and Jacob and I'm further along than I think

Thanks ladies. In that case I suspect I'm already out for this month. (Although last time I thought that I got pg with the mc pregnancy and therefore can not extinguish all hope for a BFP at the end of the month).

If its a BFN, then I'll be paying even closer attention to my body and not rely on FF iPhone app next time.

GrandPoohBah · 10/06/2012 19:19

Confused, are you charting as well? Or just relying on FF's assumptions?

I got a BFP on the WTF cycle but it was really only because I was charting and using ov tests that we knew I hadn't ovulated yet - I think it happened on something like CD26, which is way later than usual. Prior to the first mc I had a 27 day cycle with ovulation happening around CD14, but with each MC my ovulation date got pushed back further so I had a longer cycle.

StateofConfusion · 10/06/2012 19:26

I'm useless at understanding ttc, but we dtd every day during what an online calculator said was the best time, then I had a month where I was just done, fed up, cba. Dtd twice at totally random times, few days after af and boom bfp. So I do wonder if the swi every day or every other doesn't work for everyone and perhaps once or twice at a better time does.

Please ignore if that's all crap, as I said, very little knowledge.

ConfusedMumDotCom · 10/06/2012 19:31

I don't want to chart just yet (as I think I'll get somewhat obsessed!) both times I got pg within 3 months of agreeing to try, so I'll probably think about charts and ov sticks in September.

Prior to my pg with my dd I had a regular as clockwork 26 day cycle. When my periods returned after I had her they varied, but settled down to a 28 day cycle just before the mc pg. My body was/is really easy to read. EWCM and filthy dreams/thoughts right up to ov, then no interest in DTD until the same time next month. TBH I thought I must of ovd early this month as I had terribly rude thoughts about my male yoga teacher at my class on Thursday Blush and I don't even find him remotely attractive! It was a good job DH returbed from his work trip that night! GrinWink Tonight though, I just fancy an early night with a cup of tea and a good book. Smile

GrandPoohBah · 10/06/2012 19:38

I felt like I had more control over it when I was charting, which helped me because I felt really powerless with it all. I think it's horses for courses though, I'm quite scientifically minded so I found it fascinating.

ConfusedMumDotCom · 10/06/2012 19:40

Sorry, crossed post with confusion. With both my pgs, we only DTD once that month and at times when FF suggested it would happen. So I know nothing about TTC apart from the fact we have been lucky (apart from the mc, obviously).

Polka2 · 10/06/2012 19:48

Congratulations to moomin and sykes - great to have poisitive news on the thread!

AF the biatch got me today. Gutted. I'd totally convinced myself this month was going to be the month but no.....4 yrs of TTC, 1 mmc of twins and I'm beginning to lose the optimistic, shiny happy face on esp after a night out last night where I didn't drink ( to add chance of TTC) with a whole load of up duffed people - sorry to be such a miserable cow!:o

ConfusedMumDotCom · 10/06/2012 19:50

Sorry about that Polka. Have a Wine to make up for last night.

wilderumpus · 10/06/2012 20:04

aw polka. More Wine for you. That sucks.

confused I am the same, reet randy and know I am due to ov because I start to eye up strange prospects (ray winstone last month?!) and have lots of ewcm then after ov very quickly all goes and am very much into pjs, tea and biscuits and a nice book again! Am not a charter, am obsessed enouigh as it is and don't really think it helps! The month I got pg I didn't do anything but dtd more than usual around my randy time :) lost it though, bah.

leedy · 10/06/2012 23:12

I definitely ovulated early in the first few cycles after my m/c, they were all very short. The month I got pregnant again I think I conceived on day 11.

squeakymac · 10/06/2012 23:35

Congrats moo and sykes we have quite the collection of new BFPs Smile

Sorry AF got younpolka

Giggling reading all the signs of OV I'd never given it a second thought before ttc and then mc preg happened straight off the pill so I feel a bit deprived of the monthly horniness - won't tell DH what he's been missing out on!

Hand holding needed please from all the wise ladies here - 6+4 and for the past 2 days haven't had nearly as much boob soreness / nausea and TMI nipples a bit paler and not shiny anymore (!). Scan not booked til 8+3. Should I bring it forward (even tho that would mean doing it alone?) Confused

StateofConfusion · 10/06/2012 23:46

My boobs are hurting less, odd tingling a few times a day maybe a couple of ouches.

CheapTarnishedGlitter · 11/06/2012 05:27

Morning all, thanks for the welcome ladies!

Have decided to be (mostly) sensible this cycle. DTD at the weekend after first wine drinking for a while - needed to be close to DH again especially after doc had banned sex because of spotting before the mc. Figured that would be too early in wtf cycle to get upduffed and so could at least have one month of not stressing about bfps, but reading the above who knows?!

wishful hello! Sorry to see you here too, but glad you're feeling a bit better :)

squeaky and state how are you feeling this morning? I want to say something reassuring but don't have the experience so will just hope that you managed to have a good non-metalling night's sleep

And congrats to those with good bfp/scan news!

wilderumpus · 11/06/2012 05:40

IIRC squeaky symptoms can tail off a bit around 6 weeks and then come back? Or just generally come and go... Am sorry you are feeling worried, and you state, though think you are pg enough now state that the intial boob pain settles down - mine weren't really sore all the way through and think this is quite typical - as hormones settle down for the second trimester?

Honestly don't know about the scan squeaky, if you are worried then a scan could put your mind at rest... BUT I know I wouldn't have a scan before 8 weeks because then there is always room, should bubs be small/invisible for the health professionals to say 'oooh but you might have your dates wrong' as before 7/8 weeks the bubs could simply be too small/our idea of dates could very patronisingly be wrong and so they will just send you home in bits to wait another 10 days for another scan. Even with a blighted ovum like I had they wouldn't let you mc until they are convinced it is all over which meant, for me, waiting from 6 weeks finding out there was no baby, until 10 weeks to actually be helped to mc. This is shit, so I would/will always wait until there is no doubt and dates can't be wrong. Am sure there is nothing wrong though - statistically you are more likely to be happily pg than not, remember? :) And symptoms do come and go :)

hth?

wilderumpus · 11/06/2012 05:42

marnin' cheap. strange to be x-posting at this time in the morning! Hope you are ok. will you start to ttc straight away do you think or leave it a bit?

CheapTarnishedGlitter · 11/06/2012 06:40

Morning Wilde ! Will leave off ttc for the cycle then once AF has been and gone will start again I think. If by some miracle it has happened this cycle at least I'll have no trouble dating it!

I'm preparing myself for it to take a while so don't want to add in extra delay!

MrsPear · 11/06/2012 08:10

Morning everyone

Welcome to the newbies. Squeaky it seems both me and you are having horrible morning. I have had spotting (bright pink) this morning and i am cramping. 11 weeks tomorrow.

Congratulations on all bfps/scans and a happy honeymoon!

Moominsarescary · 11/06/2012 08:48

mrspear hope your ok, I bet it's too early in the morning to ring docs or mw isn't it.

squeaky and state I think my boob soreness came and went, it's just so scary though isn't it I've started the knicker checking already.

Well I won't be having a morning cup of tea for a while as it made me sick this morning. I've felt sick all week and have hard boobs, I've never had symptoms before af was due before.

I did a digi test just to be on the safe side and it's reading 2-3 weeks which is right with last af

InsomniaQueen · 11/06/2012 09:57

Congratulations to moomins nice to see the metalling waters continue to be fruitful!!! Grin

Big whoop to yikes on your wedding - hopefully next month will your one!

squeaky I had exactly the same thing around 6 weeks - started complaining to my DSis that I didn't feel pg and was worried then bam 30 minutes later I was puking and that lovely morning ritual continued for another 14 weeks, don't be too worried (not easy I know) the hormones levels surge at different times whilst the LO is forming so you will have some days where your more affected than others! Holding your hand from here anyway! Xx

mrs pear hope it's nothing bad - you managed to speak to anyone yet?

Sorry to everyone getting AF - sending you fertile vibes for the next round!!

Better get up and get myself sorted - need to do a nice 30 min trek to take DD to clinic as DH has the car, I suppose I could do with the exercise but the weather isn't exactly appealing to me!!!

Love to all!! Xx

MrsPear · 11/06/2012 09:58

Well spoke to the doctor and he wants me to have a scan (because of history) and now just have wait to see if the hospital agrees ....

StateofConfusion · 11/06/2012 10:00

Boobs are uncomfortable today so I'm reassured, and I can't go near the kitchen :)

12+4 now but can't for the life of me remember what happened with symptoms with the dc. Probably because I had no reason to think about them.

Hope your ok mrspear xxx
