Still following the ladies on my original TTC thread but most of them are now pregnant so whilst I'm delighted for them I wanted to start a new place for those who have been TTC for a while and are still awaiting a healthy, sticky bean in the right place.

Hi all. Managed to source me some vits! 8? for 100 so that will keep me going until amazon order arrives. Pharmacist knows me and what I'm up to and suggested I take 2 a day to start with and then go down if cycle goes all wierd. HK let us know how you get on! Looking forward to the weekend too Munch you up to much? DH got a pal staying for a long weekend so am preparing the house for yet more visitors!

Might be going on a Girly shopping spree on sat, not that I have funds to go mad but I still get a kick of helping others to shop. Trying not to think too much about where I am in cycle but if no bfp will be happy enough if AF doesn't show up til 14 days after ov and if AF shows up that it is a proper one. Anyway that's not due to kick off til around 10th oct.

Well today's 90 minute session was frustrating but pro active, think he thought that I was going to go in and now down to everything but held my own and it's resulted in contact starting with writing to his daughter! We will see as feel this may be too much effort for him!!!!
Back on the ball tonight with ttc as couldn't last night as far too stressed!!

Hell all again.
I am sorry for my sporadic appearances lately, what with my Grandpa being poorly i have had a lot on and not really been in the mood for talking. He is doing well though and is happy to not have to go to the hospital everyday. Though I do miss his company. I am going to see him and my nanna this weekend though.
HK nice one on holding your ground. I always wonder what I will do if my nephews mum ever makes an appearance in his life again. He isnt my child but im so protective of him.
So yeah I am officially on the ttc road. I have started taking my folic acid, am off all my pain relief which isnt fun but im gonna have to put up with it!!
I will just type in CAPS when im in agony (sympathy vote).
Do you have any tips that you lovely people can give me, as this is my first time (I'm a ttc virgin lol).
I know not to expect anything soon due to my treatment, but how do you keep yourselves so grounded, I just cant wait to pos (if it feels right).

Morning all! HK sounds like you did well yesterday! Nice one for keeping your cool and getting a bit of a result! Great to see you on here again Lynz and no need to apologise! You do have a lot on your plate don't you! Hope you're not in too much pain though I'm sure there's something they can do that's safe while ttc. This is my first one too. I'm not sure if I can give any advice about being grounded as I kind of think you have to be. And with what you've been through you sound like you can handle it! I also think not poas until you absolutely feel you must is one of the main rules so without a doubt you have the right mindset for this! Munch anything happening? Yup this place feels like a hotel sometimes! 2 more lots next month including my best friend who wants to look at wedding venues even though her DP is yet to propose and they've been together only 5 months! Looking forward to seeing if we can get freebies out of all the posh hotels! Happy friday everyone!

Hiya lynzi, ttc is a total rollercoaster at best of times. But feel free to come on here. I'm no expert but you could temp, use opks and take note of ewcm. Hope you can have some sort of pain relief, does paracetamol take any of edge off? It's ok to use when pg.

Really nothing to report here. I keep feeling various aches and pains in the womb area but thankfully no spotting. I'm 5 days since I got smiley and it would be nothing short of miracle to get bfp as we only dtd the day before smiley. But sure you can always dream.

You never know Munch you just never know! I rekon my AF is due monday feel all bloaty and horrible. Yes Lynz do try and take something for the pain. Also think about temping etc. It's not something I do but I wish I'd tried to understand my cycles a bit earlier on rather than 18 months down the line! He's an old housemate of ours from yonks ago but he moved down south with work. She was very unlucky in love even epic fail with online dating. I just decided they'd be perfect for each other. When he booked his holiday here this year to catch up with DH she took a chance and booked too after she's seen his pics on FB I literaly saw sparks fly when they met at the airport here and it turned out they were living in the same town back in uk! Hi Tas is there a chance you tested to early? Could you test again in a couple of days? Munch that's a good story too! With DH and I it was a Gavin and Stacey scenario! I'll come shopping too! Gets a bit dull doing it all online. Tis not the same. Honestly though Munch just make sure you treat yourself to something even if only small. Last time I went I just got some new flip flops and a nail varnish but it was still enough to cheer me up loads!

Tas what cd are you on because as mrs said it could be too early and what test did you use was it internet cheapie. Cb or frer are supposed to be most sensitive. A lady on another thread was getting bfns with Internet cheapies and then did cb and got bfp. Enjoy hairdressers. :( to mil. I have one of those.

Anyway you know my thoughts I'd test as late as poss but am hoping I get to use the only one I have left in my bathromm cabinet next week! Munch, G&S was based on quite a boring story. Met at work but for same company in different parts of the country. I was Head Office Receptionist. He was regional manager out and about so we'd been talking on the phone everyday for ages before we met. Took me years to grasp why he was always phoning for really silly things! My stats.. elsabel age 25, ttc 9 months (with one mmc in between) bf 28, dc 0 tested on thursday and have got 4 bfps!!!! So happy but very anxious about it, you ladies are one of the first to know havent even told my parents yet! X

Thanks mrs were so chuffed and trying to relax about it and take a day at a time. Saw that you had said about different tests being more sensitive, and i used the first response ones 2 days before my AF was due so tas maybe you could try that?fingers x for you xx

AF arrived on Friday. Did the test on cd2-saturday. Thought maybe it could only be implantation bleeding?? but don't think so because it is quite a heavy flow, 2nd one after mc and it is bad. Normally I don't get any pain and the flow is not much but it is so different now.
I used the early pregnancy test - one you can test 4 days before your period is due.
Def going to invest in ovulation tests. Never used them before but going to buy them this week!
Around what day can you test? for ov?

Thanks everyone for your kind messages. I dont have much experience with ov tests tas, as i tried them and they stressed me out too much, but the theory is you ovulate half way through your cycle, so if your cycle is 28days start testing on around days 10, maybe 12 to be on the safe side. I used internet cheapys and didnt like them so maybe invest in the more expensive ones, it can get pricey though!

Hi tas, sorry to hear af got you. If you can at all get the cb digital ones as they take the guess work out of deciding if its a positive or not. I got some on amazon that were much cheaper than shops. As els said if you have regular cycle try testing from cd 10. I'd also say test twice a day as the lh surge might be short and you could easily miss it testing only once a day.

My friends both commented that I wasn't myself on sat. But standing in changing rooms getting full view was not good. So I bit the bullet and stood on scales on Sunday morning. I have gained 10lbs since mc. and I was no slim jim before I really need to get my act together.

Am worried about the stress and the cost but am just going to do it for one month just for peace of mind. Munch, sorry you feel like that. It's awful. I feel my weight is a constant battle and that it can be a bit of an obsession for some. HK Dukan is hardcore! I'm not sure I could do it! No sugar and only 100 foods? But then I've got nowhere with WW, SW and failed at no carbing too so it could be worth a try! I like the supermodel mantra too! Lynz, Rach you ok? Anyway hope I haven't missed anyone. CD 32 here. Possibly 8dpo. Been trying to get more info on LPD and my situation is different from most as I couldn't find any examples of long cycles with late ov. And most have LPD as a result of an MC which I've never knowingly had. Anyway I'm not sure what to expect during this cycle and next as I started taking the high dose B vits during this LP. I do feel AF on the way possibly but if it is I was wondering what will happen next cycle. What changes did any of you notice with the B vits?

Hiya mrs. I'm a fellow ww and sw girl also. I did lose 7lbs with sw at beg year but then I got pg and mc and weigh has piled on since. Just can't face the classes at minute. Will keep you updated if I see any positives from b vit. But I reckon I'm on cd 21 this cycle and got smiley on cd 12 and last month cycle lasted 35 days with smiley on cd 28 so lp was only 7 days!!! Then AF was very very light for 3 days only.

Hk I never looked into the Dukan diet but isn't that the one that the Middleton girls follow? So we are around same cd as each other tho month. Fx. But I think it will be a miracle if I get a bfp.
