iloveberries Age 31, DH 32, DS 2 yrs. Been TTC #2 for a year, 1 m/c, 1 ectopic, 1 tube removed. Will be starting TTC again after my next AF.

Still following the ladies on my original TTC thread but most of them are now pregnant so whilst I'm delighted for them I wanted to start a new place for those who have been TTC for a while and are still awaiting a healthy, sticky bean in the right place.

All welcome..... nothing if off limits, nothing is TMI, no 'babydust' though please

Munch maybe you should test it may be hcg not high enough to thoroughly stop af arriving but could be preg!
Dd had a wonderful day so happy for her but so strange and her mood is that of a teenager tonight! At moment she is having her swimming lesson so early bed on the cards :/)
Af still here and going strong as the are usually very very heavy sorry for tmi!

Hi everyone just to let you know I have no news! I phoned the gyno for results and the receptionist said he (gyno) would phone me back himself. But he did not!!! I'm very agro tonight.

Morning! Tas that's very frustrating. Just keep giving them grief today until you get them! HK glad you are ok and DD had a great day. Does sound like she's growing up very quickly. Munch odd one that. My AFs vary a lot in consistency (yuk) but never stop and start. So I'm with HK a bit. I'd see what happens today and maybe still test tomorrow? Spoke to DM to get some more info on this faulty gene business in case there was a name for it that I'd need to get them to look for like the brca1 and 2 you hear about for breast cancer? Anyway turns out it was more scaremongering and what he meant was that he was geneticly predisposed to skin cancer for having red hair and freckles. Which DB has but I don't. F just puts me in same risk bracket as I am quite fair. Not a good day here yesterday. I was upset about all of that then had an argument with DSF which led to having to tell DM everything about us TTC which I didn't want to do so was very teary all day. Hope it just cleared the air and we can all just enjoy ourselvs now! Hope you are all ok sorry if I missed anyone have a great day x

Hope AF eases off or finishes. It's very draining (sorry for pun) on you.

Mrs glad you told dm your ttc it actually is good to say it and takes pressure off a bit. Phew to having this c gene. Yes this shows your df to be even more nasty. Relax so and always use sunblock seeing as you live in sunny climbs. Hope rest of hol goes smoothly.

Well afm the spotting continues very lightly and nothing overnight again. I hear what yous are saying and will test tomorrow just to rule it out if things continue the same today.

Mrs- good IDEa to tell dm as will be someone for a cuddle!!

hey girls yea im ok thanks just had such a busy week and havent been able to get near a computer. feeling much better than I was a couple of weeks ago and were 'playing it cool' this month with the ttc, basically we are trying but arent talking about it so much so hopefully less pressure and no tears when AF comes!

Im on cd 29 today but getting bad pains so think af is just around the corner,
My dh and i have been discussing ivf today and have decided to go to an open day at the clinic at the end of the month i have been reading up on so much information i think my head is going to burst lol i need someone to sit down with me and discuss what is the next step for our needs. I have also been looking at IUI but dont know much about that but from what i have read its a lot cheaper than ivf and could be a first step we will have to wait and see.

Yes rachie its so easy to get preoccupied with opk's and timing dtd I just felt after last month we both needed a month (or so) of trying to relax about the whole thing (although of corse I am still very aware of what cd I am on etc so maybe that defeats the object!). Well I really don't know much about ivf but it sounds like you and your dh are making positive steps and doing it the right way so good luck to you

Rachie an open day? Do these happen all over? Think we should attend one too!

Yeah the clinic by me have an open day the last thursday in every month, where you can find you info about the clinic and have a 15 minute consultation with someone qualified for free. The clinic by me is called Middlands fertility clinic in Aldridge i would think that they do them in other clinics around the country too though x

Well I my spotting completely disappeared on Friday night. I got a bfn on sat. So I decided fcuk it and went on the lash on sat night with the girls , saw lady ga ga in concert , it was great. But still feeling affects this morning lol!!!

And yet again no news!!! But I know why now. The receptionist at my gyno's office in my neighborhood was off sick. That's why he was only at the other office and could not get my results. She is very friendly and knows me so she said if he did not phone today I must phone tomorrow and she will find out then. So don't think he will phone today (only 40min left) till office close. So hopefully I'll have news tomorrow.
Going to DD's school concert tonight. And only 8 days till school closes for a weeks holiday.

Hellokitty-wish I could also get cuddles from a newborn! I told my friend at work (who is pg) if she doesn't phone me right after the birth I'm going to be very mad at her. Told her I want to cuddle a newborn not a month old baby

Hello ladies, i hope you are all doing well.
It has been a while for me posting on here but I have not been able to start ttc yet due to my triptorellin in my system for the endometriosis. I go to see my consultant next week and so will be able to talk things through with her then and hopefully starting to ttc in the next few weeks, im quite nervous about the whole thing.
Congrats to HK on becomming an aunt. My nephew is 12 next month and i still remember when he was born. He was 12 weeks early and only weighed 2lb and was in intensive care until xmas day when he was allowed out. I was 16 at the time and it was the first time i was allowed to hold him. It was also the last time anyone saw his mother as she did a runner. My brother is a complete waster so the poor lad hasnt really had parents. My grandparents have brought him up and they have done a wonderful job of it too and he has just started big school, I am so proud of him. I love him loads and have a great relationship with him. He is gonna be a famous footballer when he grows up so keep an eye out for the surname lol. My grandparents also brought me up they are truly wonderful people.
I would love it if i could have a child while they are still with us, they are getting on a bit now. My grandpa has bowel cancer and is having radiotheraoy treatment. I have been at the hospital everyday for the past 7 weeks (his treatment finishes this thursday) so he didnt have to go through it alone. My nanna doesnt drive and the hospital would only provide transport for my grandpa and not her, it would have cost her £40 a day to get there and back. We wont find out till December if it has worked but I have everything crossed that he will be okay.
I am sorry this has turned into a bit of a rant, I suppose i just have a lot of things going on in my life now.
Anyway back to the baby stuff.
My thoughts and wishes are with you all.

Well I think I've officially lost it!! After going around for the last few days convinced I had pg symptoms I did a cb digital tonight and bfn!!! It's been 2 weeks since I got smiley face on opk and a week since I had 3 days of light spotting. So I guess that was my body sad effort for af and not implantation bleeding. So I'm back now to thinking am I starting menopause ???? Feeling down at moment. :(
