iloveberries Age 31, DH 32, DS 2 yrs. Been TTC #2 for a year, 1 m/c, 1 ectopic, 1 tube removed. Will be starting TTC again after my next AF.

Still following the ladies on my original TTC thread but most of them are now pregnant so whilst I'm delighted for them I wanted to start a new place for those who have been TTC for a while and are still awaiting a healthy, sticky bean in the right place.

Thank god for AF Hellokitty. I'd much prefer that than the other. At least your cycle is a regular 28 and sure in no time you'll be ready to ttc again. Fx for next month.

All good here on cd 36 but only 7 dpo. So another few days before I can test. Don't have any symptoms of any kind. So at least no obsessing over that.

Munch that is very positive news. Gives me hope too as I had been thinking it was always game over if I am oving late in cycle FX too. Hellokitty I agree with Munch. Are you still taking those Chinese & Herbs and has your DP had those other tests yet? Lol at ironing a label on DD!

Dp test a week today so that's a positive, sil in labour now so will have baby cuddles soon! I ovulate on day 17 but 28 day cycle xx

Lol Hellokitty at labelling dd. But yes you have to label everything if there is any hope of her keeping her stuff. My ds new coat went AWOL day 3 but luckily turned up since.

Mrs I don't think having long cycles and ov late is a problem. At least I hope not. But evening primrose oil / star flower oil I think is supposed to be good for regulating your cycle. Important thing is to stop taking them when you ov. Unfortunately I can't take them for other health reasons.

hello ladies sorry for the absence, just been reading through all the posts since I was last on and think im caught up! Hope everyone is ok. Well my AF arrived with a vengence about 10 days ago and not a nice experience, one of those reminders that catches you off guard and reminds you of what happened, for some reason made me feel awful for days. But on the bright side (if there is one) I got to go to alton towers!

Hi everyone. Hope you feel better soon Els. Munch yes when are you testing? Did try Evening Primrose oil once but am impatient and didn't feel any different after 6 weeks so felt pointless. Am the same with all vits and supplements really. Maybe I should have given it longer. This month though I want to see if those pains around CD 22 are ov pains then I may try something again. Hellokitty, how's DD? Excited? Glad DP's test is soon. Hope you have a nice day today. No news here. Wanted to get started but neither of us in the mood. Another story I wont bore you with at the moment. Hope that passes. Both at home today getting the house ready. Bless DH he's already outside cleaning the windows so they pass DM's inspection!

Dd goes tomorrow I am feeling emotional and she is nervous but sure it will be fine she went to nursery at 6/12 mths so had to be strong then too and all was ok x

It's ok Hellokitty. I'll explain briefly as I feel a bit selfish clogging up the thread with this. Basicly I am estranged from my father. He treated all of us very badly so I cut him out of my life. I don't have any positive memories of him at all. Anyway every so often I get a letter from him. I open them just in case they're an apology or him reaching out but they never are. He is very ill and is making me feel guilty. DH isn't very supportive as he doesn't understand why I open the letters & upset myself. DM has forgiven him & now takes pity on him. This always happens when she is due to visit and I won't let it ruin her trip this time. Their fligh doesn't land till 8 but they got the cheap Ryan air flight into Paphos. We're going to make the most of it as long drive and stop in Limassol on way for nice dinner together. Am sure you'll be ok with DD. I hope she likes her new school.

Sorry Els about AF. But big yeah to Alton towers. I'd say it was great fun. Did you get nice weather?

Mrs as Hellokitty said you don't bore us. Don't beat yourself up for not starting today. It's sometimes hard to muster up enthusiasm. It's prob early for you yet so plenty of time. Yes watch out for those ov pains carefully this month. Try and relax a little with your folks visiting. says she who has no patience fair play to cleaning windows.

Well as for me I was convinced I was having AF pains. But turned out it was sorry if tmi no 2!!! But look if AF comes I just have to get on with it and start again. I will hold out til sat if no AF as going out that night and want to know if I can drink or not. So I will be 11 dpo by then. Wandered onto miscarriage threads last night and reading the different stories just brought it all back. Really should stay away from there. So sad that it happens so much to so many.

Think we should all avoid stress wherever possible. Yes Munch stay away from those threads and FX for saturday! Think I was also upset as loads of baby news in said letter too. Didn't tell DH that though. Hellokitty I agree with Munch and we'll all be thinking of you! X

Sorry mrs I hadn't read your post before I posted. Sorry you don't get on with your dad. But if he wasn't a nice person to you he has only himself to blame. Don't let him get to you. I take it your mum is coming without him for visit? Just don't even mention you got a letter from him. Enjoy your time with your mum. Ah paphos it's a beautiful place. Visited there and saw lovely mosaics etc. stayed in aya napa mental place lol.

It's ok Munch! My parents split when I was 15. Was an abusive relationship they hid from us. My DM then married my father's best mate. (now my DSF although sometimes I still have issues with him) love my DM just put it all down to her having bad taste in men! My father has been trying to get back at her since. He doesn't have a good way with words and another reason I was upset by his letter was that he's just found out he has a faulty gene and his words to me were 'so the likelyhood is that this thing will get you too' Which was nice. Hear what he's saying but there's a better way of putting it. And why DH thinks I should just ignore him. DM feels guilty and thinks we should play happy families but I just want to have a good time with her so if the subject comes up I shall change it! I moved here for no stress! I still love Napa too by the way. It's only 20 mins down the roads from us! Maybe that's what I need? Big night out to let off steam. Sorry folks for hogging thread. Xx

Mrs that's awful for you!!! You need to be selfish and do what ever you feel is right for you! If that's read a letter do it, if it's rip to that if it's read a scream etc you know what I mean!
You can bung up thread with what ever I see you all as friends and will be here to listen! Sometimes easier to talk with no face! Love to you anyway x

Hello!! HELP PLEASE! I'm so stupid with these kind of things! My gynecologist phoned and said I must go for a bloodtest to see if the levels are back to normal after the MC . I know he said wait 3 months before ttc but you know we didn't.

My period started the 28th of August. So my fertile window was 5-10 September so we've been at it (sorry if tmi) from 3-11.

Can something show in the bloodtest this early?

I went for the bloodtest now. I'm so excited but I don't think anything will show yet.??

Mrs your dh is right. Sounds like your df was delighting in telling you bad news. Well you get genes from both sets of parents and sometimes with these things you have a 1 in 4 chance of having it. I'm no doctor/scientist but just know my mum has a condition and I may have it or not or just be a carrier and my chances of having it are 1 in 4. I suppose a DNA test would sort it out definitively. But yeah there was a nicer way of telling you. And Hellokitty is right you deal with it whatever way you want and way that causes you least stress.

Oh tas wouldn't it be great if you hit the jackpot and were pg. keep us posted.

Well girls I was put out of my misery today and those were indeed AF pains yest as the old witch arrived at lunch time. Even though I was very suspicious yest and had sore boobs also I was hoping against hope it wasnt. Luckily I am busy at work to distract me but can't help feeling upset as after seeing smiley face last week on opk I thought we had a good chance. Now even more depressed as luteal phase was only 7 days at very most. So mrs that would be similar to what you think you have experienced. But looking for the positives at least cycle has shortened from 103 to 37 days!!!! So far sorry if tmi it seems like normal AF and not awful brown stuff. I told dh of my suspicions last night and he said lots more practicing!!!! I guess I will feel sorry for myself for next few days. But I'm going out with girls to a concert at weekend so lots to distract me. Fx this cycle shortens again and before I know it ov will be only around the corner.

Sorry for the long rambling post but it actually helps to say it out.

Munch sorry about AF but it's a sign things are working properly isn't it? That thing about the luteal phase was only an article I stumbled across online. Easy to up B vits anyway Marmite-yum! So giving that a bash this month! Have an amazing time with the girls. HK we are thinking of you today. Thanks for your kind words. I think of you all as friends too. And I appreciate that you don't judge. My own SIL doesn't speak to me over issues with my father as she thinks I'm lucky to have one regardless and am wrong to turn my back on someone with a terminal illness.

Feel better about things today. Just wish DH would sometimes let me be upset for a bit and comfort me rather than giving it the I told you so's! But he's used to my father upsetting me. Lots of history. The recent comment is lame compared to some. He accused me of murdering his grandchild after I had to have my termination. Anyway am trying not to stress about faulty gene. Will do a bit of research. If it's type specific it's no problem. Oddly DSF was diagnosed with same thing at the same time so I know what I'm looking for. They just whipped it out and gave him all clear. F denied treatment for ages. And he carried on drinking and smoking and now it's everywhere. Re chances 1 in Four isn't too bad. DB has been tested and he has it. I have more traits from DM. Moving on DM and DSF are here safely. Their flight landed 35 mins early good news as it was a long trek. DH chuffed that the first thing they noticed was his handywork! Hugs all round from me too x

Mrs- those comments are ones that would never pass our lips so it is heartbreaking to read your poor thing! Push them to back of mind or better bin them ! Have a wonderful time with your mum! Dd is hopping round very excited this am so will be off soon

Ah mrs your df does not deserve any kindness after those comments. But do at some point have yourself tested and rule it out. Yes might join you in upping the vitamin B.

My AF is still strange. Only had a dribble yest, nothing overnight and a dribble today. (sorry if tmi) but defo feel like it is AF due to dull ache and sore boobs. Wish it would just get on with it and be done!!!!
