iloveberries Age 31, DH 32, DS 2 yrs. Been TTC #2 for a year, 1 m/c, 1 ectopic, 1 tube removed. Will be starting TTC again after my next AF.

Still following the ladies on my original TTC thread but most of them are now pregnant so whilst I'm delighted for them I wanted to start a new place for those who have been TTC for a while and are still awaiting a healthy, sticky bean in the right place.

All welcome..... nothing if off limits, nothing is TMI, no 'babydust' though please

Morning all. Well this is just my current mindset. Am sure it'll change! Anyway munch I've been told about the zinc thing too but cant get DH to take supplements. It's another thing I tried to do with diet! All of the foods that are supposed to be aphrodisiac have high zinc content. Must be some truth in that theroy? Kitty not heard of that but if you can get him to take it might be worth a try.

Lol mrs you'll have to mash the zinc tablets in his food!! Sevens seas do a brand and they are black current flavour chewy nearly like sweets. Maybe they wouldn't be as offensive to him.

Kitty I have never heard of it but hey I'd give it a go.

I'll try it and I'll tell him it's to boost his immune system to stop him getting man flu. Not for any other reason!

I think my AF has finally stopped after two weeks!!! Why oh why has everything been so exaggerated and long since last year coming off pill to start ttc. I quit poas on opk as I figured I'd just wait til maybe my body gives me some indicators that ov is around the corner. Sorry for the moan.

So I'm on cd 17, where is everyone at?

Hi Munch. Does seem like there's only a few of us now! Good news on the AF. Yes give poas a break for a while. CD 23 here. Trying to stick to my plan. Not looking into symptoms too much just dealing with them accordingly!

Hi ladies, off to peppa pig world in am for a 3 day break ???? Am on day 10 today and on it every night with head stands as from tonight thinking it may be low volume sperm but they do swim may the best man win and all x

Hiya mrs your dead right if you can try and forget what day your on and see what the story is in a weeks time. When I got pg last feb/mar I didn't even know I was pg until the ms kicked so I was prob 6 weeks by then. So having no symptoms can be a good thing too.

Have fun HelloKitty. Dunno where you get your energy from! I think you're right Munch it was about that for me the first time many moons ago I don't know what's making me think I'll know earlier if I ever find myself pg again. Getting impaient in my old age!

Hello ladies def thinking that 'playing it cool' and trying not to poas is the best way if you can manage it! i knew at 4 weeks last time as my cycle is pretty regular but would be lovely to already be 6 weeks gone when finding out, 2 weeks closer to the 12 week sigh of relief! CD 20 for me. enjoy your break away hellokitty!

Hi ladies! Just popped in to say hi! Getting real impatient with this waiting game!!!
Has been a hectic week. So busy at work. Have been working 2 hours overtime everyday at school. Then coming home and doing more work. School department is coming on monday and the principal is coming on tuesday to see how i teach.

Off to 2 children's birthday parties. Oop, DH is calling! waiting in the car. will check in tomorrow again.

Munchin know how you feel, i suffer from IBS and the pains can be very misleading (sorry for the tmi!) Dont blame you, i did give up the opk's this month with them though after spending way too much time doing them they did my head in. Hoping to be late this time next week and cancelling a trip to Alton Towers! (but clearly not getting my hopes up!)

Hi all! Tas Definately think it's a good thing to keep busy. Els it's very hard to play it cool. I said I wasn't going to speculate either way but AF is due next week & I've had cramps for the last few days. It's asking too much to get a BFP in Sept I've decided. Given the fact that my DM will be here & my Would great present to give her dgcs of her own & to be able to tell her on her b'day but too perfect & things like that don't happen to me! Fx for everyone else but I think I'm out for sept. Anyway els I've never been to Alton Towers! I'd go even if it was just to look after everyone's stuff!

well mrs I know what you mean about things being 'too perfect', sometimes better to not expect it and be pleasantly surprised if it happens! Fx anyway. Ive been to Alton Towers before but not since theyve had all the new rides so itl be a cheer up if I end up going.

What do people know about implantation bleeding and pg? I have been looking out for it hopefully, and none. But didnt have it with my last pregnancy (but then again it all went badly there so maybe shouldnt compare it). Is it common and when does it happen?

we'll see what happens! I have an action plan if bad news anyway. Since I've not been poasing or temping cd be getting ov dates wrong so thought we'd start earlier in the few days before my DPs arrive. The following month we're going away for a long weekend just us first time in ages and that's during my FT so not too worried. Hope you get good weather for your Alton Towers trip if you end up going! I know nothing about implantation bleeding unfortunately but am definately interested in what the others have to say.

Sounds like a good plan. And an even better idea about the long weekend away, well deserved, and people do say youre more likely to conceive when youre relaxed, which i do tend to believe.

Thanks Els. Agree about being relaxed. We're even going somewhere our phones don't work properly! So can't be disturbed! Forgot to say too sorry about your IBS. That's a really horrible thing to live with. Hope you can manage the symptoms ok. And nothing is TMI for us! Have a lovely sunday everyone!

Elsabel I've never been to Alton towers but I've been to Drayton manor and legoland. They are great crack. I don't know much about implant bleeds except that it can happen. But I don't think it's a necessity and egg can implant without a bleed. I never had one.

Wow Tasja you sound super busy. On the plus side you have no time o symptom spot lol.

I got back into my painting buzz yest. Keep thinking get as much done before I get pg. (will have whole bloody house done at this rate)

Hi Munch. Can't wait to get away! DH doesn't like leaving the business. over the past few years we've only managed a few nights and cut some of those short cos of calls from clients! This time we have a little flight too so will feel like proper holiday! Good news would great for all of us keeping busy and playing it cool is the way forward! Well done on the DIY front! Reached a standstill with ours. DH blaming the heat. Send some motivation over here! Agree on the Theme Parks too. Grew up near Thorpe & Chessington. Miss stuff like that!

Hi all, like the sounds of all your breaks away! We are now home from peppa pig world , dd very sad to be home! We needed to get home as need to get trying missed a vital 3 nights out as in hotel room with my dd and my best friends dd so could not get down to it! However this am will as parents picking dd to go swimming woohoo! How is everyone feeling? X

oh yes! I'm jealous (spelling?) of all of you that's taking trips and breaking away! Wish I could do it! 5 more weeks of school and then it is a week holiday but I have a course to go on! so not much of a break. and the another 11 weeks before school closes!
