iloveberries Age 31, DH 32, DS 2 yrs. Been TTC #2 for a year, 1 m/c, 1 ectopic, 1 tube removed. Will be starting TTC again after my next AF.

Still following the ladies on my original TTC thread but most of them are now pregnant so whilst I'm delighted for them I wanted to start a new place for those who have been TTC for a while and are still awaiting a healthy, sticky bean in the right place.

All welcome..... nothing if off limits, nothing is TMI, no 'babydust' though please

Grin Grin Grin AF arrived this morning! So a few more days and then back to TTC Smile
Munchin so sorry about your handbag! I know the feeling! Lost my phone a few weeks ago remember. But you have to go through everything-canceling cards and so on. Good luck hug

Munchin · 28/08/2012 20:50

Thanks guys. Yes did the whole cancelling thing. But okay got a phone call from my bank and a lady had found my handbag and left her contact details and i collected my bag in tact this evening. Just shows you there are decent folk out there.

Tasja delighted af showed up, you can draw a line under whole mc experience and start to look forward to the future.

Hellokitty glad yous all enjoyed the peppa pig experience. Must check it out.

Mrs day 28!!!!! oh gosh I have fx for you.

Elsabel Hope you are getting to relax.

Back to school here tomorrow and it's my dd first day. Hope I can hold it together ( well at least in public) everyone saying your baby is off to school, which is true. But if I hadn't mc I would have been due a baby in under 2 months. Funny you think it's all behind you and then suddenly you start to think what if again.

LynziBaccoli · 28/08/2012 20:58

Hello, I have Endometriosis and Uterus Didelphys (2 wombs) and have been treated with Triptorelin for the last 5 months because the pain I experience is crippling on a daily basis. I was adamant that I was having a hysterectomy (I am 28 now and have wanted surgery since I was 21) until only 3 days ago. I suddenley realised how much I wanted a baby, I spoke to my fiance (6 year relationship) and we decided that when I go to my specialist in October we will discuss our options.
I was very suprised that my partner had agreed to wanting a child as we are both very similar and have always said we wouldn't have kids.
Now I am worried, all I can think about is having a child, I have even been thinking baby names and imaging what it will be like to have a bump, however I dont want to get my hopes up too much because of my conditions.
Having one of either would be bad enough but having both now feels like an infertility sentence to me. I have 2 small wombs and my left womb and overy has endometrial tissue growing around it, up into my stomach. The triptorelin stops me from ovulating which helps with the pain.
I have been told that I have a 60% chance of miscarraige, and that if I did carry to term it would actually be premature and have to be delivered via C section.

I was just wondering if anyone knows of anyone with both of these conditions and if they have managed to conceive, if so how long did it take and did they go full term>

hellokittydrivesmenuts · 28/08/2012 21:07

Munch fantastic news on the bag there truly are some good eggs out there! Keep us updated on dd 1st day my dd is the 13th September scary thoughts I would have also had 2 months before dd it's a sad thought but keep hoping that I done it once I will do it again!!
Lynz - sorry to hear you have so much going on and so many questions you just want answering! I can't help with either but am sure there will be someone come along here who can help answer ! We will all be here to support you through the roller coaster that is ttc! Good luck on your mission!!! X

LynziBaccoli · 28/08/2012 21:12

hellokittydrivesmenuts
Thank you for the reply. I only joined up yesterday and I have gathered so much knowledge by reading all the ladies stories on here. I am hoping for answers from anyone as my specialist isnt really that great when it come to chances of having children. They just say the usual, give it a year and then come back. I have spoken to them about it a lot, but I was more interested in getting my organs out. I cant believe myself how my mindset has now changed even in just the past few days. I am so desperate for help and a sign of hope.
I must say I love the way all you ladies stick together, its great to have that kind of support.

hellokittydrivesmenuts · 28/08/2012 22:11

Yes you want answers and I think the best are from those who have experienced it some consultants are just shocking! I was told I have a hostile environment before falling with my dd and that I would need ivf but whilst they told me the news I happened to be pregnant I had heavier than period bleeding throughout entire pregnancy she was small for dates and got wedged by her bottom in the birth canal, so after an elected c section , 5 days in neo natal care my 5lb 4oz miracle came home with me! They prepared me for bad news numerous times so I do believe miracles happen and the consultant who was going to carry out a d and c at the start I got great pleasure in telling him my daughter was 4 ( unfortunately the second time ended in miscarriage) but there is hope for us allSmile
We all live by the support on here x x

MunchinMango · 28/08/2012 22:14

Hellokitty you brought a smile to my face with "some good eggs out there", pity I don't seem to have any lol!!! Oh you are facing first day of school too. I'm dreading it a bit but life must go on.

Lynz welcome and I'm sorry that you are having a rough time of it. I'm sorry I have no knowledge about two wombs but I do have a friend who has very bad endo. She was given an injection to induce a false menopause and had an op to remove as many cysts as was possible. She was told ivf was her only option due to her age and age of her ovaries. But if you are not happy that your current consultant can help you conceive I would seek out someone else. Hope you get some answers.

LynziBaccoli · 29/08/2012 02:12

Again many thanks to those who have responded, I am sure i will become a regular poster so its nice to know there will always be someone i can talk too, will have to get used to the jargon though (i was flipping back and forth from the jargon buster when i started reading through yesterday).
I am on the understanding that i will have to have ivf as my conditions alone are not too much of an issue, but together they make a big problem.
I look forward to hearing your updates and also keeping you updated in turn (not too much info of course).

mrsnec · 29/08/2012 06:00

Morning All! Great news Tas! & you on your bag Munch! Lol at good egg! Hi Hellokitty hope you are ok.waves to Els and anyone else I forgot Welcome Lyns! Agree with you that you've found the best place for support. I don't know of anyone with your conditions either but second what the others say and add that I try to believe that nothing is impossible. Like you I didn't think I wanted DCs never been broody round other peoples but in the past few years I just feel like something is missing and am desperate for it to happen. 19 months later still nothing. Last month I thought we'd got there & I was thinking of names & even choosing a new wardrobe of maternity clothes online! Until I had a word with myself and decided I definately need a more relaxed approach and I'd say the other girls here have definately helped me with that! Not that I think that might be the way forward for you though but the ttc stuff can take over a bit also I am doctorphobic & had a very bad experience with both nhs & bupa docs following an accident a few years ago so I don't comment much on the medical side of things that was partly my fault for not speaking out though when I just knew things weren't right so keep going. Anyway, No sign of AF but I can feel her round the corner! I'm fine with it I feel it's easier to deal with than seeing another BFN!

hellokittydrivesmenuts · 29/08/2012 19:16

Clear stringy time woohoo am on it like a dog with a bone ;-) them few swimmers we do own better be of Duncan goodhew variety!!!!! Sorry for tmi but an excited Grin

elsabel · 29/08/2012 19:25

hello everyone! i havent been near a computer in a few days so have just read through and caught up on all thats been going on here! wow, bet you breathed a sigh or relief Munch when your bag turned up! And know what you mean about thinking something is behind you then you get a whopping great big reminder, my sister is pregnant and 2 weeks ahead of what I would have been, so although im so happy for her and excited to have a nephew in november, it is a constant reminder of where I would have been at right now.

Big hugs to you mrs on your 28th day its kind of a day you look forward to and dread all at the same time isnt it?! Mine is this friday. where is everyone else at?

Good news for you tas with the AF liking your spirit!

Welcome Lynz, I wish i could give you some advice but dont have any experience with it, but wishing you all the luck in the world, and like the others have said great things really do happen and ive heard so many ttc miracles which make you remember its not all bad!

Hi Hellokitty and anyone else I havent mentioned, hugs to all!

elsabel · 29/08/2012 20:19

definatly not tmi hellokitty got my fingers x for you! keep busy! Glad you brought it up actually, is it true that you shouldnt do it more than once a day when ttc cause then sperm isnt as concentrated? or is that a myth?

hellokittydrivesmenuts · 29/08/2012 22:22

My dp has low count so we are limited to every other day but if normal once a day is good! X

mrsnec · 30/08/2012 05:54

Morning! Lol at Kitty! And Els I agree with Kitty on DTD but think it depends on the couple. We had a slight wobble over same issue but I know that if I do see AF today or tomos my first thought will be we didn't dtd enough.

mrsnec · 30/08/2012 05:55

mrsnec · 30/08/2012 05:56

sorry for posting twice oops!

hellokittydrivesmenuts · 30/08/2012 07:18

Mrs keeping fx for you ! This time of
Month is emotionally draining hey? Am on day 17 today but going to keep with every other day! Dp has his second test mid september but my step dad is scientist and adv walnuts so his diet is pretty nutty at the mo bless him! X

mrsnec · 30/08/2012 07:51

Tell me about it! Not feeling confident I'm affraid and feeling very irritable. Slightest things get me like yesterday. Am in supermarket with DH and I'm dithering over buying supplies or not. As all they have is a big massive box and it's really pricey. Hate spending on things I don't need anyway, He says stop faffing & what makes you think you wont be needing them! And it really upset me! Good tip on the walnuts I've been putting them in everything!

hellokittydrivesmenuts · 30/08/2012 08:27

Oh mrs I know them feelings, men don't think the way we do and generally don't have that huge burden on their shoulders every day of month Sad they just want to get jiggy when suits them and that's that , the 2 ww means nothing to them! Grrr but we love them and sure they would be mortified if they realised the half of it x

mrsnec · 30/08/2012 08:54

Exactly Hellokitty and pointless trying to change them! FX for you too and that 2nd test will be here before you know it too although time does seem to be passing very slowly here!

MunchinMango · 30/08/2012 12:04

Hi ladies, well first day at school went really well. So hopefully it continues that way. Crèche found school runs from today onwards.

Hellokitty, not tmi at all delighted for you and hope lots of dtd!!!

Mrs still hanging in there? I know what you mean my life for last year or so has been making decisions allowing for fact that we might get pg. it's starting to grate on my nerves.

Elsabel when I got pg last march we had only dtd on three occasions. Two were two nights together and the other was a random night a few weeks later. I never was able to work out which event was the successful one. But defo shows it only takes one dtd at right time.

On ttc front nothing to report did a random opk test yest and still -ve, may have seen tinyest ewcm today so may get dtd tonight. On cd 24 here.

tasjaSAmuminSA · 30/08/2012 14:05

munchin - glad to hear about your bag! And thanks for the support!

It's been a bit difficult today! My friend that teaches with me who's pregnant (I wouldh've been 12 weeks now and she is 15weeks now) found out today that she is expecting a girl. I'm so glad for her and she is so excited, and deep down I just want to cry because I also want to be pregnant again and sharing news like that. And in my mind it keeps going on: What if we try again and I have a MC again? I was so positive and now all the negative thoughts are coming back.

hellokittydrivesmenuts · 30/08/2012 14:34

Tas- huge hug watching any preg lady is hard but when it's so close to home it's worse! They say if you have 1 mc the next one should be ok , we are here with fx for you my lovely x

elsabel · 30/08/2012 16:13

Thanks for your tips everyone, and know what you mean mrs, i am beginning to obsess over whether we dtd enough/on the right days. And the mood swings are horrible eslecially when they make you wineer if its pg symptoms when just as easily could be pmt!!

Sorry youve had such a bad day tas it is horrible when that happens and brings it all back. That is such a normal worry i feel it everytime i think about getting pg i think about that, hellokitty is right though and fingers x

hellokittydrivesmenuts · 30/08/2012 20:48

Good evening all! Now been taking nuan gong Chinese medicine for 2 weeks and they look like my dd aqua beads, wondering If maybe I will have a Buddha baby form if I spray them with water before swallowing Grin?
How is everyone else doing?
I researched that dp night sweats and low sperm count can be fixed with clomid?! Anyone know more about this? X
