iloveberries Age 31, DH 32, DS 2 yrs. Been TTC #2 for a year, 1 m/c, 1 ectopic, 1 tube removed. Will be starting TTC again after my next AF.

Still following the ladies on my original TTC thread but most of them are now pregnant so whilst I'm delighted for them I wanted to start a new place for those who have been TTC for a while and are still awaiting a healthy, sticky bean in the right place.

All welcome..... nothing if off limits, nothing is TMI, no 'babydust' though please

Oh they are the worst Sad!!!! And very oblivious to hints too! I tried 3 years for dd but had a miscarriage after one year of ttc this time round so seeing it as a positive that I may not be ttc for as long this time? It's hard when you have none bless you, mows the time to make most of sunbathing in peace etc Wink x

I know but I have learnt a lot this week. He's is one of a large family . The others have been with my DM in the UK the ones she plays granny to that upsets me. Their DM seems more than happy to palm her offspring off onto other people and sees them as a burden. I do wish some people would try and appreciate how lucky they are.Certainly wouldn't see mine like that. I think the more you've been through the more relaxed your approach is and the more resiliant you become. And I definately agree that we should be making the most of this time but we're ready for that to end!

hellokittydrivesmenuts · 11/08/2012 18:17

I can understand that need to move to the next part of life together! It's hard esp when as you say some mothers really are a different breed! X

mrsnec · 11/08/2012 20:00

Yup. Not wrong there. Feels like there's something missing & those kind of people don't help. Lets hope we don't have to wait too long eh? Xx

hellokittydrivesmenuts · 11/08/2012 21:12

Mrs I pray it happens for us all soon on here we are a genuinely lovely thread and that's you too x

rachie12 · 11/08/2012 22:19

Come on ladies i know its really hard but we must stay positive :) xx

mrsnec · 12/08/2012 07:07

Agree Kitty and Rachie we are but it's still ok to have a slight wobble every so often! Xx

iloveberries · 12/08/2012 09:57

Hello everyone, no news here from me. Cd26 but I don't think I ovved till cd 19 so a while to go yet. Boob are sore but they're often sore without a bfp at the end. Getting bored of it all now it's been over a year. Feeling like it will happen someday though! I just have to be patient!

Happy Sunday

Munchin · 12/08/2012 22:08

Well after a lovely two weeks off its back to work with me tomorrow :(
It's great to have had fab weather at home.

How is everyone doing? I know it's hard month after month trying to stay positive but we have to believe it will happen. Just look at success already on this thread so far.

It's cd 6 for me and af still here. I'm going to get some digital opk's as I want no confusion over if its a positive or not.

iloveberries · 13/08/2012 07:00

Hey everyone - i am ok. Bumped into my insensitive pregnant friend yesterday in sainsburys and we bleated on about how fantastic it was that her two will have a close age gap. I wanted to shout at her but just "hmmmed" and then left it.

Funny as I now want a sibling more for ds than a baby for me. Not sure I could go through the sleep deprivation again!!!
Nah - id do it all in a heartbeat.

iloveberries · 13/08/2012 07:55

Agree munch. Berries yes you should! But you handled it brilliantly! I have a free house at last sans mopey teenager and thanks from his mother but I'm not letting that phase me! I think I'm going to be busy tonight. Hope you are all ok xx

Munchin · 13/08/2012 16:40

Woohoo mrs glad you have the house to yourselves at last!!!

Yes berries you could write 50 shades of your ISPF moods and what not to say!!!

First day back was ok but only as boss is on hols. So took it handy. Have to say my clothes are much tighter than before hols. Need to take drastic action.

Hope everyone else's Monday is good.

tasjaSAmuminSA · 13/08/2012 18:46

Mrs - enjoy your night! Grin
I have no idea where i am with my cycle? According to the gyno"s receptionist i got AF 4 days after my evacuation but it was just weird. So I'll wait till I have a proper AF before working everything out.
Also went back to work today after longweekend here in SA. It feels like I'm back now at school after everything that has happened. It is very very busy at school and I'm hardley touching ground! but that's good, less time to think and it will make the time go buy quicker!

Positive vibes to everyone and stay positive! HUGS

hellokittydrivesmenuts · 13/08/2012 21:08

Evening all! Berries how do you stay so calm I need tips :-) good luck all on it and Tas really 4 days after that's mighty quick x x

Munchin · 14/08/2012 16:39

Hi ladies. It's very quiet here. Hope yous are all doing ok.

Hi tas sorry to hear about your mc. It's hard to know when first AF happens. I had minimal bleeding after mine and then on day 5 it really kicked in and lasted 7 weeks. Was that first AF or what? So I wouldn't have a clue if yours started 4 days after op. It is frustrating the not knowing what's going on

Well I am on cd7 and I still gave a little dribble of bleeding. Hopefully it soon stops. I bought a pack of cb digital opks so hopefully this will take the dithering out of is it a + or - opk result and I pin point the Lh surge.

Fx this will be a lucky month for all of us.

hellokittydrivesmenuts · 14/08/2012 17:12

Af arrived a day early! Dp took his sample in this am so will hear within a week! Fed up! But the sun is shining and here is hoping for some bfp news here to encourage us on x

mrsnec · 15/08/2012 07:28

Hi Tas. It could be a sign that things are settling down and it's a good thing you're busy. Kitty hope this week goes quickly and it's good news from the doc. I think it's very hard to understand what goes on with our cycles. I was convinced I was regular as clockworck and always 6 days but last month it was only 3 but really heavy and as it was late all sorts went through my head but I decided to just step away from Dr google and look forward to trying again although my plan for ED isn't working as neither of us could find the energy! Apart from that it's very quiet here big public holiday. Some people have taken all of August off. It's alright for some!

Mezzaluna · 15/08/2012 17:52

Hi all, how is everyone doing?

munchin good luck with the sticks, I have been using those, so easy.
kitty and berries I can so join the choir on beeing fed up. Fed up doesn't even begin to describe it actually!
mrs ED is hard work! I even struggle w the EOD. Did well this cycle though, but worried might have stopped to soon as I went away over the weekend.

CD 22 in my world, and who knows how long this cycle will be. Since my ectopic I have had one 25 day and one 37. Got a pos OPK last week though, so should be in 2ww. Trying very very hard not to obsess or symptom spot!

Hope everyone else is doing ok, I'm currently enjoying some sun on my parents balcony! :)

mrsnec · 16/08/2012 07:29

Morning all. How's things? Mezza sorry you're fed up. Hate the 2WW. Not sure we'll even make EOD. DH accused me of only being interested in it cos am so desperate to get pg! Told him he's wrong but bit upset:(

Munchin · 16/08/2012 16:44

Sorry Hellokitty that AF showed up again this month. But looks like you are about to start doing tests? It is hard to keep the positivity going every month. But hopefully your bfp is not too far away.

Mrs it's very hard to go with dtd eod never mind ed. sorry your dh feels your only using him for his spermies. You would assume guys wouldn't give a rats once they are getting plenty. Well that's what my dh says lots of practice. Maybe there is something else at the back of that comment. Are yous getting time to spend time together aside from dtd?

Hi Mezza good you are in the 2ww hopefully this is your month.

I am on what I thought was cd 9 but my AF has not stopped yet. This is very strange as never had one that went on for so long bar the epic bleed after my erpc. So I don't know if there is any point to poas on opk until it stops???? Normally I woukd have started around cd 10. Nothing is the same after a mc is it??

mrsnec · 16/08/2012 17:04

Hope you are back to normal soon. I wouldn't do opk just yet. Don't know what's going on with DH. Could be the opposite as I work for him so maybe too much time together! He has been known to have a dig if he goes too long without it too. Feel like I can't win sometimes! Maybe dtd e2d!
