iloveberries Age 31, DH 32, DS 2 yrs. Been TTC #2 for a year, 1 m/c, 1 ectopic, 1 tube removed. Will be starting TTC again after my next AF.

Still following the ladies on my original TTC thread but most of them are now pregnant so whilst I'm delighted for them I wanted to start a new place for those who have been TTC for a while and are still awaiting a healthy, sticky bean in the right place.

hi everyone - I try to lie down for a bit afterwards but I don't think it makes any difference. Just makes me feel better - like I might be helping!

I'm don't know if I'm ov or not...had some ewcm yesterday (but not a huge amount) and I've definitely been having twinges and a few sharp pains. Then had a tiny amount of pink tinged cm today - does that sound like ov?

I have no idea when I will ov due to mc though so just being dtd eod or sometimes every day hoping we'll catch it!

Woody I agree with Kitty that sounds positive. I've never checked if I Ov or not. Last month just dtd eod from CD12-22. Not sure about the pree seed. DH would still see that as intervention! We have an agreement now though. I always wanted to be pg before I'm 35. If it hasn't happened naturaly by then we'll start looking at what's wrong. That's 4 months. Anyway I know there's success stories on the PS which is amazing but lots online the other way too as essentialy just a lube so I have a question for those who use it sorry if TMI. Would you still use it if you don't feel like you need to? And does it make things really slippery and slimey? (sorry)

I started using pre seed partly to help ttc but also just as a lube. You have to put it in you with an applicator 15 mins before sex so I do this while dh is brushing his teeth and he has no idea we're using it. I jut didn't see the point in telling him. I use half the recommended amount as the full amount was way too much for me. I guess it also makes it go further as its quite pricey. It has made all the shagging more enjoyable for me and dh too,

So we dtd last night which is two nights on the trot (dh can only do eod usually). Another peak day today but I don't think dh will be up for it but we have put in a valiant effor this month and with the luck element of ttc being ever present I think I'll give him a night off and keep my fingers crossed!

Mrsnec, as Berries said if you use the amount recommended it would be slippery and a bit grim. When I used it I used a third of the amount and that was about right for me and DP. I conceived without it in the end tho!

Hi Mrs, I used Zestica last night which is supposed to be like pre seed but cheaper! i only used half the amount in the pre filled tube as there did seem to be a lot in there and it was fine for me not slippery at all, My dh said it felt fine too! it makes it more comfortable if you are trying to 'bonk' alot lol x

I might try this pre-seed. We used to always use ky jelly - we had no idea that it could damage sperm! And I still pg using it. But anyway, not using it now.

I did an ov stick for the first time ever today and it's +ve so something must be happening. The only thing is if it's still left over from mc but have been getting -ves with all brands of pg tests so hopefully it's not!

2nd peak yesterday - no bonking as dh was done after two nights in a row. We will have another go tonight though. Then it's the 2ww. Keeping busy with lot of other things though. How is everyone else doing? Xx

Went back to work yesterday. It was ok. BUT Im in bed AGAIN today! DD has the flu, DS has tonsilitis and I have bronchitis. Booked off for today and tomorrow! I feel so bad after being off for a week and a half for the MC and now I'm sick!

Last night DH and I decided to tell DD about the baby. He just said mommy isn't going to have a baby right away. Mommy isn't pregnant but we hope she is going to be pg one day soon. She just accepted it like that. Wish we could feel that way.
Anyway, I got this book from a friend of mine. It really helped me to deal with the mc better. If you sad about your mc or maybe wondering what happened to your baby PLEASE go and read this book - it is amazing! Heaven is for Real by Todd Burpo with Lynn Vincent. Tas hope you feel better soon. Glad DD was ok with the news. Am sure that book will be very useful for a lot of people. Hope everyone is well. Busy here had to 'rescue' my DSB's DSS. I've never met him or his DM and haven't spoken to my DSB in 4 years. Anyway he's here until his flight home at the weekend and I have no idea how to entertain an 18 year old but couldn't say no. Just really hope he enjoys the rest of his holiday with us!

Hiya ladies, Just back from my hols. I had a fantastic time, totally chilled out and made a decision before i went to totally forget about all that is ttc and sorry did not check in here. Guess what on way home yesterday Af finally showed up after a marathon 103 days wait. Never so happy to see the old witch in my life.

Well no dtd last night as DH was too tired (again) but we managed eod through the 'highs' and once on first peak so FX that is enough. In any case luck seems to be the most prevalent factor in getting that sticky bfp in the right place so i am keeping my fingers crossed for a big bit of luck!

So i guess i am in the 2 ww now. Feeling pretty good about what happens either way! (ask me again in 12 days!)

Hi Berries it's CD 8 today. AF has gone sorry if TMI! Ready to start again but have a guest at the moment. Always feel strange about DTD when we have peeps staying! Going home sun so good job I don't think I'll OV before then! I'm sure you've done enough! EOD should be enough although it wasn't for us last time and up until then we hadn't managed that! Tempted to try more next time but that's only as both of us need the excersize!

Kitty only I do silly things like POAS's too early. But, as you know it is very early, so plenty of time to get that BFP!!!

rachie do you know if you have ov'd? It's strange to get sharp pains in the centre. I normally get them either on the right or left side (sometimes both) but never just centrally. Hmmm, very interesting!!

Mrs get ye to bed and bonk!!! i must confess, i find it quite exciting bonking when i know I shouldn't but only if the guests are friends and not family. Could never do it with other family members in the house.

Hey MOO, I think i ovulated as i always get very bad ovulation pains when im ovulating plus i had a scan last week that showed my right overy was large which is a sign of ovulation the only problem is that my right tube is blocked so if it was the right one that ovulated then its not going to go anywhere :(
