iloveberries Age 31, DH 32, DS 2 yrs. Been TTC #2 for a year, 1 m/c, 1 ectopic, 1 tube removed. Will be starting TTC again after my next AF.

Still following the ladies on my original TTC thread but most of them are now pregnant so whilst I'm delighted for them I wanted to start a new place for those who have been TTC for a while and are still awaiting a healthy, sticky bean in the right place.

All welcome..... nothing if off limits, nothing is TMI, no 'babydust' though please

Sent him a picture of the digital and have just spoken to him. He's a bit in shock!! Thank god I am off sick today!! He wants some champagne to celebrate though. I will have to decline Grin

I have waited for this moment for so long. It feels so surreal, but so real at the same time.

DH is already thinking of names and has decided we are having a boy. How he knows is beyond me. Not really sure what I do now though. Need to go and register at my new GPs I think.

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 25/07/2012 10:19

Sorry Berries cross post with you there. You are DEFINITELY next in line. Clomid has worked bloody wonders and although it has been a long road, it has so been worth it!!

Feel a bit warm and fuzzy. I'll climb down off this cloud soon. I promise Grin

Discolite · 25/07/2012 10:19

Berries it will totally be you next. You have a child already and two pregnancies in the past year (next one will stick) and you WILL get pregnant again. Don't even mention tubes as look at Count!

We'll all be feeling sick together soon enough Smile

Discolite · 25/07/2012 10:20

Ha Moo, you'll be feeling on cloud nine for at least the next 48 hours!

mrsnec · 25/07/2012 10:25

Amazing news! Don't worry about being indulgent. Think it's more than allowed in the circumstances! And stay on that cloud as long as you like! Glad that you don't have to poas for a while! Let us know how everything goes and how you get on at the docs.

Countmyblessings · 25/07/2012 10:50

OMG - MooWoo- I'm I'm I'm so happy for you ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Congraulations oh my it could be twins????
Now that would be amazing!!!!!!
You must be in utter shock, scared confused and elated all at the same time!
Ohhhhhh you sound like me I poas for the next week watching my lines get stronger even doing them with eve pee to see if it made a difference! Nope it didn't!!!!!
HappyHappy.com for you xxxxx I knew it would be soon and this will stick! Who would of thought it us getting BFP the same month!
Now we need to just focus all our BFP energy on ilove and we will have a full house!!!!!! ( from the old thread crew)

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 25/07/2012 10:59

Thanks everyone!!! It's still a bit crazy.

Count i have thought about the whole twins thing, but I think a lot of women get early BFPs and go on to have a single child (really don't think DH would cope with that news!).

I have peed on 5 sticks today Smile and will continue to do so untill I am completely satisfied that he/she is going nowhere!!

Yes, definitely sending all my good BFP vibes to berries come on love, we are rooting for you. You deserve this so so so much :)

Discolite · 25/07/2012 16:19

Ha Moo, I've got 14 Internet cheapies lined up from the first fourteen days. Then I decided it had to stop somewhere! You'll find time passes really really slowly for the first few weeks...

Munchin · 25/07/2012 16:21

OMG!!!!! Only checking in now for first time today.

That is just fantastic news Moo. So happy for you. You must be trilled to bits with yourself. Go clomid go. The whole cycle went as you had hoped for. It couldn't happen to a nicer gal!!!

So that's disco , count, irish and moo in the m2b club!!! This thread is really taking off.

Please god Berries you'll be next with mrsnec Mezza and myself.

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 25/07/2012 16:31

Thanks Munchin thrilled, scared, anxious, excited, crying one minute, laughing the next. Went to my surgery today to register and it was bloody closed. Then popped into Boots on the way back home to ask about pain relief for my teeth to be told absolutely nothing but paracetamol. That does absolutely nothing for the pain. Also seem to have constant nausea which is nice Grin

Disco blimey!! Understandable though after what you have been through. I will probably follow suit. DH asked when I would stop POAS and leaving them in various places around the house, I told him I will be peeing on them until I am satisfied that all is fine.

Having to go to the in-laws this weekend, DH's brother finds out whether he passes the exam that makes him a pharmacist on Friday so we are going to hopefully celebrate. I think we are going to have to tell them because they will be suspicious at my lack of drinking, and believe me the wine, beer and champagne will be flowing (there is not really much doubt that he won't pass to be honest). Going to leave it until Saturday though as don't want to rain on his parade. This will the their first grandchild too so all very exciting.

Munch where are you up to in your cycle now?

Ms and the heat is killing me!
Can't eat as feel sick, need to eat cause I feel faint!
But you know what I say, bring it on! I don't care!

mrsnec · 25/07/2012 18:12

Thanks! Would be lovely if there's more good news on the way. Am feeling some symptoms but resisting the urge to test yet!Moo hope you get to the docs soon & that the toothache gets better shame you can't take anything stronger. Know what you mean about the booze thing with friends and family, that isf of mine timed her pregnancy so that she could tell everyone she'd given it up for lent! I've developed an aversion to alcohol though. For some reason I couldn't even handle dh putting vino in the steak sauce tonight! Hope all those with bfps are coping with the ms so far and the heat isnt too uncomfortable. Think it's best to have the heat at this stage though!

Irishmammybread · 25/07/2012 21:20

Congratulations Moo!!!!!!!
That's absolutely fantastic news, I'm so pleased for you!!

Countmyblessings · 25/07/2012 23:48

Just wanted to know how do I fine the old thread we all came from just wanted to pop in to say hi!!!!
It got bumped as wasn't on it for ages!
Hope all is wellxxxx
It's gone quiet still in shock from MooWoo wonderful news!

Discolite · 25/07/2012 23:57

Hi Count, I don't think anyone has been on the old thread in yonks but Festie et al are here:

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/antenatal_clubs/1474450-Flying-mattress-graduates-dock-here?reverse=1

Hope that helps.

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 26/07/2012 04:58

Oh no count sorry your feeling rough. Like you say though, bring it on!! This heat does not help though. Hope you managed to eat something!

mrsnec you never know, aversion to alcohol just may well be a sign! If I have learnt anything in this process it's that anything goes. Anything can be a symptom and every cycle is different!!

I can't sleep! It's too warm, I feel sick and I'm starving! Going to work early today but stopping off at Tescos to get a first response Smile I've never really got much of a line on those so it will be final clarification really.

Taking one day at a time. For now, I'm pg!!!

Will pop in later Smile

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 26/07/2012 06:49

Me again.............yes you will be sick of me before long. I promise to calm down!!! Grin

Took an FRER and no denying it now; nice strong line, came up almost immediately. Am still shaking. After the early m/c in April I am still so scared of getting negatives following positives but after 3 days of strong lines I am actually starting to believe it now.

Who is next to test???

mrsnec · 26/07/2012 07:43

Count, meant to say I do like your approach to to the ms! Moo, I think we can safely say that's a BFP now! I'm feeling a bit ropey again today. The cramps and the moods tell me its PMS the nausea could be a bug or stress or the heat but if I can get frer here I can do it tomorrow.

iloveberries · 26/07/2012 08:02

oh mools i am so pleased for you but FFS you need to STOP POSs!!!!! haha, had to get that in one last time!! ;) It is such wonderful news and i am honestly so so pleased for this! Hope you had a nice glass of schloer to celebrate!

Also loving count's approach to MS - you'll never here whinging from a lady who's been through the pain of losing a baby! In fact - that goes for all the lovely M2B on this thread!

mrsnec - perhaps you could be next, we are on a total role here - let's hope we can get us all upduffed this month - amazing.

No testing for me till AF is actually late (you know me moo) and I havent even Ov'd yet! CD9 today so a while to go! All this positive news, and the one tubed wonders on my EP thread getting BFPs (in the right place) is very very inspiring and keeps me hopeful. I am just telling myself this is the month. I'm fed up of waiting. Thanks count, disco, moo and munch for your positive thoughts for me. I think if it doesn't happen for me then I'll not be starting a 3rd thread when you all 'graduate'. I don't want to share this drama with anyone else!

On ISF situation - i have spoken to a couple of others in the group and as I thought they all feel much the same about her. They think she has a big chip on her shoulder about those of us she feels have done 'better' in life. I often get snide comments about my house being big and one of the girls often gets comments about her "fancy life" even though we are both totally normal and have worked our butts off for what we have. God - typing this all up she sounds like a right charmer eh??!! They have told me to try and not see her. I basically decided that even though we are supposed to meet next week I am just not going to mention it and hope she doesn't either! If she does then I'll go and maybe see if we can invite some of the others along. Then I won't haveto deal with her DUURRRRRR remarks and insensitivity.

Apart from all that life is good, I have been enjoying the sunshine with DS and just feeling grateful for all the things I have in my life. I am lucky in so many ways and really a baby #2 would just be the icing on the cake!

Hope you m2bs all continue to feel sick (in the nicest possible way) moo - my bet is on twin boys! counts is a girl and i think disco may be growing a wee man too, oh and irish - it's a girl!!

Me next, me next, me next!! (runs to the front of the line and queues patiently!)

xxxxx

Moo a FRER is my gold standard preg test so that's great! As for the nausea you honestly have to keep eating. I'm coping much better this time around as I know I have to eat as soon as I feel hungry. Keep some food by your bed and eat before you get up in the morning.

Keep experimenting until you find stuff you can manage. I'm mostly on ginger biscuits and cheese sandwiches. I even ate a biscuit in the middle of the night as I was soooooo starving! Also, if you are unsure about telling people cos of not drinking, you do have a cast iron excuse in your recent dental work. You can't drink because of the painkillers/special antibiotics...mind if yr bil is a pharmacist he may start questioning you, hmm! You could conceivably be taking metronidazole though which you definitely shouldn't drink with.

Count, yr ms sounds pretty bad, poor you. Mine isn't as bad as last time (so far anyway), I hope you manage the illness.

Mrsnec, that booze aversion is very interesting!

Berries, she sounds like a right charmer! I think not seeing her on her own is a great idea, at least if you've got someone to roll your eyes at when she comes out with another lovely comment it can make you feel better! Is your DS enjoying the sunny weather? As for your boy prediction, hmm! I have a girl feeling but either would be fine...

I'm off to the midwife today, I'm looking forward to seeing her again (at least if it is the same one). She sent me a condolence card after the mc which I felt was very thoughtful. I can ask her about these mild cramps...I think they're normal and just the uterus stretching but they are still scary.

iloveberries · 26/07/2012 08:58

enjoy the appointment disco - you're pregnant! yipppeeee!!

it couldn't happen to a nicer gal xxx

Discolite · 26/07/2012 09:12

Awwww, thanks Berries! I just hope it all works out...still can't quite ever bring myself to believe that I'll ever see a live baby on a scan but hopefully I'm wrong. My mum is staying at the moment and is charmingly concerned for my welfare. She doesn't want me to do anything! She does think I should go to pregnancy yoga though...I'll start thinking about that when I'm safely at twenty weeks I think. What are you up to today with DS?

mrsnec · 26/07/2012 10:17

Disco make the most of the time with your mum. You do deserve to be a bit spoilt. I only get to see mine once a year and it's times like this when I really miss her. And I get a bit sad and possibly jelous that she spends a lot of time with DSFs DGCs. Am sure this time everything will be fine. Good advice on the frers hope I can get one! Berries I think you'll be next too! Great idea re your isfs too. I've never understood why people need to constantly compare themselvs to everyone else. Yes it is interesting re my aversion to booze. That's now extended to coffee and diet coke which I normally drink by the gallon but I'm still not convinced and preparing myself for dissapointment. Feels far too early and DH thinks it's probably a lergy!

iloveberries · 26/07/2012 11:34

mrsnec that is certainly an interesting sign! I seem to have had every 'pregnancy' sign going and none of them have meant a pregnancy so I try really really hard not to ss now but it's so hard isn't it!! The booze aversion is one i've never had though!!

Thank you ALL for your positive thinking for me - it is genuinely touching that 'strangers' are giving me so many wishes. I can only do what I can do hey! CD 9 today and CBFM still reading low. We're dtd anyway as DH is away tomorrow and saturday night and I'm just gonna bonk away through the cycle!! Plus everything we have been through has made me feel so much closer to my DH.

We have been out for a big walk this morning and to the park and he is now playing in the garden while i prepare lunch (after checking in on you lot!)

It is nice to have your mum around. Mums are special. You're going to be one disco and moo!! So pleased for you. Not taking anything away from those who get pg easily but it seems so much more special when you've done your time waiting!!!

mrs - when is AF due?

how are mezza and munchkin?

are you still here rachie?

OP posts:
mrsnec · 26/07/2012 11:57

Hi Berries! AF is due on Monday. Had the booze and coffee aversion the first time. Apart from the obvious it was my only symptom! Which is why I think it's in my head as I seem to want it more than ever now hence trying to be cautious. Hope everyone is having a lovely day!
