how long does one winkle for I wonder? Is there an optimum time between aiding swimmers and numb blue feet?

I just propped feet up on a pillow last month. Clearly not giving it the necessary welly required. must put my back into it more this time round.

don't let any swimmers shoot out from snorting out loud!!

I'm all winkled out! My method for the optimum winkle is 2 pillows under my bum ( ) legs up in the air rested in headboard if bed. Cold legs are a side effect if the intensive and extended winkle. I sometimes get Dh to put the duvet over my feet!

The winkle came about back in the April thread when winkle came on and announced she was mning while laying on her back with her legs in the air post dtd!

Well I am fed up with waiting for DH to come home from work so am off to beddy bye byes. no DTD or winking for me yet though as witch AF still around.

Hahaha the winkle posts were a good read over morning tea. I am trying really hard to not think about it, but I don't think I have ovulated yet?! My cycles are like clockwork and this month - first cycle of ttc and i think the CM is now drying up :( no sign of EWCM and today is CD16.

Had some strong cramps (maybe indigestion?) last night and slept at 8pm - very tired.

DTD EOD is not working out for us as DH is away but going to jump him this weekend!

Are those James Bond spy glasses for real? I need to look inside my body to see what is going on!!

redstrawberry How long are your cycles? Don't give up - just so long as you ovulate at least 10 days before your next AF is due, you are fine.
They typically say that you would ovulate 14 days before your next AF - so if you have regular cycles you can work it out.

Some people don't have good quality CM and some do. Some people don't "ovulate" as per OPK's but fall pregnant. My mate was told by her doctor that some people have the LH spike that lasts 3 - 4 hours ONLY so the OPK has to be done within those 3-4 hours to pick up the spike.

I have picked up ovulation twice in the last 8 months. But my AF is regular as all hell. Which reduces the chance that it's an anovulatory cycle because regular cycles indicates fertility. As done ovulation spotting.

So if you are regular, you're probably missing it. And 70% of women ovulate before day 10 and after day 17. Remember that if nothing about pregnancy is a "one size fits all", then nothing about ovulation is either.

Our bodies are all different so we need to work out what works for our body and that's what we need to concentrate on :)

cd5 for me too winkle! Roll on cd28 (june 3rd!!) when I think I'll ov! Started my vitex yesterday so hoping it shortens thing out

I am not using OPKs, was blindly relying on my app (not anymore!) and CM checks.
I have a 30 day cycle, which means OV could happen tomorrow CD17. FX.

Might steal your idea too amaya if AF stays away in June.

CD14 here, I had totally lost track of days then noticed I helped posted on the 1st saying CD 3! Who needs an app when you have MN?

I had better ovulate today or tomorrow as DH works away Monday to Friday. I think June is unlikely to be THE month though as I have a feeling (never plotted it) that I have a long cycle & may ovulate next week while he's away. Sigh!

Hope everyone else is feeling a bit more positive?

Still between the May and June threads (lots of EWCM today but not seeing DH til Saturday afternoon so prob missed the boat this month) but just giggling since I just read that 'doing the winkle' stems from winkles name and not the other way around - new to TTC threads! so was doing it last week and told my husband it was a proper TTC term like CM and DPO and AF etc we both took it totally seriously!

pinkie - I was taking vitex drops to try and get my cycles to behave whwn I unexpectedly got pg with DS, fx it has same effect on u!

Ladies, would u believe that the AF witch still hasnt arrived for me??? I've been gaving cramping on and off for a couple of days and what looked to be v light spotting last night but here I am on CD38 and she is nowhere in sight? I'm a bit bewildered but also slightly worried cos of my bfp last week that quickly became a bfn - could this be ectopic?? Cramps arent constant and they arent agonising but they are sore and AF is v late in arriving now.... Advice? Just wait it out?

Fx little miss thanks I've got the 1000mg tablets says take 1 - 2 a day so might up my dose!

LittleMiss - my AF was 10 days late in December. I was all excited and rung my doctor but also noted that I had had a BFN. She said even if I wasn't pg, it would be good to check out why I was late.

So instead of stressing about why you're late - book a doc appointment and get them to check it out? No harm in it and you can stop stressing about it?

AF finally here. Bit sad but panic over, glad to be out of limbo land and glad to be on CD1 of what will hopefully be lucky cycle #3, june is a good month - DH turns 30, it's our 3rd wedding anniversary and if we get our bfp i'll be due around my birthday in Feb...all good signs!!

So back on the supplements and.going to start temping this cycle...fx....exciting times!!!
