Good luck manda!!

boris those ICs are rubbish, get thee a nice FR?
Good luckm, sounds positive to me!!

Yay to tits those odds are amazing!!

BlueCrane · 17/05/2012 14:22

Ooh manda I know you probably won't see this for a while but if DS starts arrival today then he's bang on time...it being your due date and all Grin unless I've got totally confused with dates that is

boris all sounding good!

mumtum thinking of you...the wait is hideous!!

I had MW app this morning and other than LO kicking the MW whilst she was trying to ascertain where he/she was laying it became v clear that it's not engaged at all yet...so the wait continues...and I may have a UTI again, oh joy! But I did manage to get a prescription to make my addiction to gaviscon rather cheaper than it currently is!

To all those debating the pros and cons of ICs I found them v useful but also always preferred to see actual words on a test rather than peering at lines, but they were great for easing the 2ww metalling when I didn't want to be peeing on the equivalent of a £5note everyday Blush

leedy · 17/05/2012 15:48

"when I didn't want to be peeing on the equivalent of a £5note everyday"

Oh God, when I was TTC DS I had a really late period when on business in Norway. Ended up getting a test in the local chemist and I think it cost the equivalent of a tenner. For one pregnancy test. Might as well have been made out of solid gold.

Really really really hope that the NT is ok next week. I am starting to look really quite pregnant (or possibly just suddenly really fat).

leedy · 17/05/2012 16:38

Gah, slight backache. Tell me to stop metalling and that it's because my posture at my desk is shit.

GrandPoohBah · 17/05/2012 17:06

It's because you're slouching Leedy, sit up straight or have a walk .

I'm hoping for that too, it's just another hurdle to get through... How far are you? I'm 11+4.

Yay tits!

JaffaSnaffle · 17/05/2012 17:56

Ooh Manda, good luck!

I think you are pregnant boris!

leedy · 17/05/2012 18:28

I'm 11+6!

backwardpossom · 17/05/2012 18:31

Work was great, just what I needed. Kids were delighted to have me back, too. Think they were a bit bored of supply teachers... Hmm

Midgetm · 17/05/2012 20:11

Good luck Señora to manda from Spanish Spain x

GrandPoohBah · 17/05/2012 20:12

Is there any Manda news?

ICs are rubbish, I became very good at the whole 'hold it up to the light, tip it sideways then squint and there's a line' method of pregnancy testing. Clearblues with the writing on are definitely the way forward, leave it till Saturday and do one of those with FMU, I'd say.

StateofConfusion · 17/05/2012 20:16

I'm 10wks tomorrow and my symptoms are getting worse, nausea getting stronger, boobs hurting more, tireder.

Nothing like last time Grin

leedy I get back ache after being in the car as a passenger, I sit badly according to dp x

Good luck to manda a horay for tits and keeping fingers crossed for confused

ConfusedMumDotCom · 17/05/2012 20:43

Evening all!

Fingers crossed stateofconfusion, but it sounds positive.

I'm feeling a bit down about the mc today. I know it's only been two weeks, but I can't believe I have to go through the whole TTC and TWW again. For those who have got their BFPs, how long did it take to get the BFP after your mcs? DH is out tonight and I could do with some optimism.

goes off to find wine

GrandPoohBah · 17/05/2012 20:47

I got pregnant on my third cycle after my first MC (which sadly turned out to be a MMC as well) and following the ERPC I had for that one, I got pregnant again without actually having a period. So relatively quickly, and fingers crossed for the scan next week.

leedy · 17/05/2012 20:56

Third cycle out for me, but I didn't try the first cycle as in addition to dealing with the miscarriage I had a horrendous chest infection and was on mahoosive amounts of non-preg-friendly drugs.

ConfusedMumDotCom · 17/05/2012 21:02

Thank you!

On a positive note my mum came over after work today to see my DD me, and said how great my skin was looking now that the pg hormones have left my body! Every cloud eh??

Oh and there is no wine in the house, but I did find a bottle of amaretto and a half eaten Lindt bunny...

kirrinIsland · 17/05/2012 21:07

Good luck manda :)

tits good news :) I've got to ring for my results tomorrow.....

leedy backache is just pregnancy causing ligaments to soften and stuff isn't it? I've had it on and off for a week or so but it definitely feels muscular so I've not been worrying too much

kirrinIsland · 17/05/2012 21:10

Oh and confused - I got my bfp on the third cycle after erpc the first time, and after the first cycle the second time, so pretty quick

NoMoreMarbles · 17/05/2012 21:13

mmmm amarettoEnvy

manda GOOD LUCK!!Grin

MarthasHarbour · 17/05/2012 21:27

confused i dont want to bring it down but i had my MC in March 2011, started TTC after one cycle so beginning of May 2011 and have only just got my BFP now, i had two CP's in the meantime. As i say i dont want to bring it down but you should just go for it because it could take forever

mumtum i prob wont be on line until tomorrow night but i will be thinking of you tomorrow morning xx

state yay for sore boobies (.)(.) Grin

today i am still pregnant, 4+3 i am - yay!

MarthasHarbour · 17/05/2012 21:29

oh god confused sorry i have just re-read your post then my response and i have been as tactful and subtle as a brick through a greenhouse Hmm

i know how you feel, it is depressing thinking about going through all that ttc and 2WW again.

sorry again for my foot in mouth incident Blush

MarthasHarbour · 17/05/2012 21:30

and manda you know that i know that you know that i know you know what i meant, and we both know that i didnt mean what i think you thought that i meant IYSWIM

Confused Hmm

MissCoffeeNWine · 17/05/2012 21:34

Very excited and hopeful for both manda and Boris!

And martha are you speaking English today? Have you slipped into some kind of pregnant babble? Grin I know you know what I mean you know.

ConfusedMumDotCom · 17/05/2012 21:51

Hi Martha not a problem. Some healthy realism is good too. Well done on your BFP, will be keeping my fingers and toes crossed.

Golly, this amaretto is strong stuff. My alcohol tolerance has plummeted after 3 months on the wagon. Takes herself off to bed before she can do some tipsy googling....

Thanks again, I'm feeling much better and merrier.

ConfusedMumDotCom · 17/05/2012 21:59

Argh, pants. I've just remembered that I have my appraisal tomorrow, so I really should go to bed. I was supposed to have my 12 week scan on Monday and I was looking forward to not really listening at my appraisal and then at the end saying "oh well, that's lovely, but I'm pregnant so will be off in November for a year". I'm just going to have to grin and bear it now and actually pretend to care instead of metalling about possible conception/ovulation symptoms

StateofConfusion · 17/05/2012 23:02

martha I just snorted like a naughty teenage boy at that Grin

confused I had my erpc for my mmc on 12th december, got my bfp in april, so only 3 months ttc! My due date for this baby is the 13th december. I really feel like this is healing me. Sat in hospital that day I never dreamed a year from that date I'd have a baby, and right now it looks like I will!
