The last couple of threads got lots of people pg. Let's hope this is another lucky one.

OP posts:
ScrambledSmegs · 20/04/2012 16:28

Could really do with some brooking. Have a bit of pinky-brown cm. Scared it's the start of another mc Sad

PipIsOutNow · 20/04/2012 16:41

oh no scrambled how many weeks are you? could it not be implantation? sending sticky bean vibes your way xxx

new symptoms here - heartburn and really bloated? does this mean anything? I know I only have to wait til the morning to find out (maybe) but it's driving me nuts!!!

xxx

cakes82 · 20/04/2012 16:49

How far along are you smegs? when is your scan/next scan? I had a little of that around 7wks, no pain though and all was well.. Brooking your fine!! If concerned phone mw, have you any pain?

BeedleTheBard · 20/04/2012 16:52

smegs we're here for ((hugs)) and hand-holding. I hope its just bean getting more comfortable. Is there an EPU nearby where you could go for an early scan to put your mind at rest

ScrambledSmegs · 20/04/2012 16:53

6 weeks. Have an early scan booked in a couple of weeks, but am beginning to suspect that I may not need it. I feel rather crampy and my ms has ominously vanished.

I had a mc before I had DD, and this is exactly how it started.

Bugger.

ScrambledSmegs · 20/04/2012 16:55

Thanks all. Beedle I have DD here and I can't get up to the EPU. I think I just have to wait and see. There's not much I can do either way.

Geeklette · 20/04/2012 16:57

munx sorry you've had a crappy week, hope this weekend heralds the start of a good one for you

beedle hope you're feeling rested - high temp, tiredness and a night on the pop definitely indicates you are pg - nm what the faulty stick says! I'm definitely an 'answer a' kinda girl.

green sorry to hear about AF. You are now on CD1 of the cycle in which you will deffo get pg, no argument will be brooked!

far naughty DH! Hope you can expect some pampering/foot rubbing/bath running/shoulder massaging going on for you this weekend.

sparks cheers - deffo looking forward to seeing it in that case!

far what do you mean I'm too late and the 45 minutes is up? Where's my 'you can even rewind live tv' button??

pip & little The Law of Boob is on your side. Waiting is a prize pain but look on it as good practice. Tomorrow will be a +, then you will have nine months of waiting, followed by eighteen years of waiting, hurrying, waiting, nagging, waiting...

whims better to SWI a couple of days before than a couple of days after (although always good to do both just in case!) - your DH's boys have a relatively long life and they now have plenty of time to amble to where they need to be. Sorry to hear about your eldest, but best to speak to him and get the full story before going into full blown panic - there may be a (semi) rational explanation, and as others have said it could just be an anxiety thing. When I was younger my mum went into fits because all my eyelashes had fallen out. They hadn't, me and my best friend had competitions to see who could pull the most out in one go. I always had to go that one step too far...

bartlet Good luck getting your positive OPK, I'm still waiting for my first too.

generic & bartlet Thanks, I'm hoping so too (haven't spoken to him since he dropped me off at the train station and he will still be at the dentist by the time I get back from work). He does find it funny that we have an acronym for everything but he thinks pant snot is just tmi!

froot Congrats! Knitting is the best, not only do you get to kill a few hours and feel smug that you have learned a 'dying ' craft, but you also end up with something to give to a really disliked relative Grin

bestlaidplans hiya ~waves~ I'm sorry to hear your history, but without a doubt your BFP is to be found on this thread

solars I think that's what I'll be doing too - there is just the one room still filled floor to ceiling with random boxes after the house move and it just so happens to be my future craft room (later on to be TTC DC#1's room because obv I am going to get a + test in a few weeks). Deffo time to get it all shifted.

Yay, nearly time to go home!! Long live the weekend.

Biscuitsandtea · 20/04/2012 16:59

Smegs - brooking like mad for you - take care xx

cakes82 · 20/04/2012 17:04

Smegs phone the hospital get them to put you through to mw, I found it reassuring. Look after yourself! Take care

Munx2 · 20/04/2012 17:07

Brooking madly here too smegs xx

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 20/04/2012 17:14

It might not turn into anything, brownish spotting is quite common I think? I agree with cakes - at least speak to your midwife if you can't get to an EPU. Brooking big time.

Solars · 20/04/2012 17:34

Smegs brooking that this is indeed nothing to worry about. Be good to yourself and as others have said call midwife if you can x

SweetieDoesIt · 20/04/2012 17:36

Smegs brooking all is ok, did you speak to mw or get to epu? Brooking super hard for you lovely

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 20/04/2012 17:48

:o beedle

BeedleTheBard · 20/04/2012 17:57

tis a good thing that no-one here know that I get paid to draw things on a computer all day, you'd think I'd lied on my CV :o

Still sending all my brooking to you smegs

whimsicalname · 20/04/2012 18:25

nipping in. Thanks for all your kindness about my boy. I've talked myself round to feeling it's subconscious rather than self harm. I'm still worried that it's a sign of underlying anxiety though.

Super brooking for smegs. Really really hope all works out well my love.

Welcome best, and glad to see other newbie geek is a knitter too. And well done to froot for getting the bug. You'll all be knitting your own newborn outfits in ill advised fluffy yarn before we know it.

Nipping out, waving to all and proffering bread sticks dipped in chocolate philadelphia. It's a sophisticated aperitif for a Friday.

TheLittleFriend · 20/04/2012 19:05

smegs my love, I'm brooking hard for you. I hope you're ok xxx

Welcome best, this thread will be lucky for you Smile

Sounds like you've had a boring journey beedle!

I'm pretty sure I won't be testing tomorrow pip. All signs pointing to the imminent arrival of af Sad. I will be wallowing this weekend, I think.

CraftyGirly · 20/04/2012 19:12

Hello Smile not a regular on this thread but being incredibly nosy Wink what's brooking please? as it seems to be a positive thing I'll join in for smegs!

whimsicalname · 20/04/2012 19:42

Hi crafty. Brooking comes from the name of the thread - all about positive thinking and 'brooking no argument' which is some sort of idiomatic expression that I tend to only see on MN (although it did have an existence before MN, hard to believe though that may be). So we call ourselves 'brookers' (amongst other things) and when we're being extra hopey, like when peeing on a stick, or leaving work, or encouraging our husbands to 'perform' into specimen jars, we 'brook' for each other. It's kind of secular praying, with an additional pregnancy dimension.

Good of you to join in regardless!

SweetieDoesIt · 20/04/2012 20:13

whims hope you and DS are ok. Is he a bit worried about the move do you think?

Hello best welcome to our brooking thread

Little and Pip sorry to disappoint but I won't be testing tomorrow, temps dropped this morning and had a bit of spotting. Am so convinced AF will arrive tomorrow I have rung up and booked my HSG for next Friday.

GenericDietCola · 20/04/2012 22:27

Smegs I am brooking like billio for you.

Sweetie sorry to hear you think AF is coming, but I will brook no argument that your HSG will do the job and you will get your BFP next time.

Little keep the faith love, remember pre-AF symptoms are very similar to preggo symptoms.

Good luck Pip for the morning! You could be the first BFP on the new fred.

Happy weekend everyone Smile

NinjaChipmunk · 20/04/2012 23:42

Smegs hope you're ok. Brooking for you x
