Thanks keep I have a light pink line now, but is says on the pack that is still a fail, they say I need to have the line the same colour or darker than the control line, will keep doing it daily for now, I suppose the better I get to know my cycle I will be able to target the OPK and SWI more precisely, and I can join the BFP's!

keepitgoing · 02/05/2012 16:04

Yes, I keep the sticks in a row, face till they go light again and I know I've surged. If you sometimes have such long cycles it might take you a while, but I find them helpful, can't find cm and temping stressed me out as was always waking up thinking is it time...

Still, they don't work for everyone and in the meantime just swi every other day. There is no magic other than plenty of swi!
Did you get your last bfp unexpectedly?

keepitgoing · 02/05/2012 16:09

Oops sorry it wasn't face but boo. Stupid phone

Steth · 02/05/2012 16:12

I just got a BFP!!!! wooohooooooo said 2-3 weeks on clearblue, that means I'm 4-5weeks??

Calamityboo · 02/05/2012 16:13

Yes keep twas a real shocker last time, we were having all the tests done, I had had the blood tests and HSG, DH had done his first man test, and they found during a routine smear that I had changed cells, so we were told that I needed to have them removed which would mean we would have to wait a further 6 months before we could start tying again. We were told this in November and the appointment for the Loop(?) procedure was booked for January, so of course we were really worried about what the changes cells meant for us and decided to get on with Xmas, then hey ho, preggers before they could remove the cells :) One nurse actually suggested I attend the appointment anyway Shock What confuses me is that the cells went, gone, poof, no more changed cells for me and normal smears since Hmm

Calamityboo · 02/05/2012 16:14

Shock steth that is brilliant!! Grin

Stacks · 02/05/2012 16:14

Biscuits I don't think I get much of a choice re waiting for scan. I've got my 12 week one booked on 30th. I would have liked a private scan, but DH was against it, and thinking about it more I agreed. I'll have an extra £100 guilt free money to spend on something for the baby then :)

I never managed to pee on any opks. I bought loads of internet cheapies, but always forgot to do it at the right time. Was also confused by the instructions saying the pee should be left for 20 mins to come to room temperature. I didn't want to leave a pot of pee sitting there for that long! Someone on here pointed out it was probably for labs that used pee stored in a fridge.

Does anyone want some OPKs and PG tests? I'm on a positive thinking drive so will definately not need them. I've got quite a few IC of both, as well as some Boots and maybe Superdrug PG tests..

cartoonface · 02/05/2012 16:34

NoMaybeAboutIt · 02/05/2012 17:47

Wow Boo that's amazing! How long have you been trying this time (you have probably said already Grin )

So. The great temperature experiment. Took my temp, it was 99.78 Shock no broken thermometer for me, back to the drawing board!

clickingtock · 02/05/2012 17:48

Maybe - how perplexing! Your chart looks totally weird. Hope you get some answers about it. Maybe just a weird cycle? Wish I could help... xxx

NoMaybeAboutIt · 02/05/2012 17:53

Thanks Tock it is isn't it! Especially as my morning temps are so low compared to normal x

clickingtock · 02/05/2012 18:12

Hmm Maybe - not sure what to say. Do you have a copy of Toni Weschler's book - maybe there's something to be gleaned from TCOYF..?

keepitgoing · 02/05/2012 18:22

Sorry maybe no clue on temps, bit surprising to have them so similar though!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 02/05/2012 18:24

No Tock I don't. Am interested to know what it's all about!

It is weird Keep I don't think my temperature has ever been so low in the morning!

Sorry Steth I meant to say congratulations!

Thanks Sparks, that would be great

Calamityboo · 02/05/2012 18:27

Thanks maybe I felt very lucky at the time that it all worked out for us. This time I had my implant removed in August and have not had a regular cycle since, they are anything between 4-6 weeks, last month was the worst though, almost 9 weeks :( that is why we have started the opk this time, though the my spider senses are telling me that the cramping I have and the tender norks mean I should shave my legs above the knee and smack those rats!! Grin

ScrambledSmegs · 02/05/2012 18:44

Congratulations Steth!

Sorry about to do bathtime, will catch up later.

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 02/05/2012 19:00
