Name changed for anonymity, mainly cos I've had so many false alarms in the past.

Today I am CD20, normally cycle length is 26, so a week to go until I test.
I am CONVINCED already that I am pregnant though. I can 'feel' my uterus inside me, I feel slightly sicky when I get hungry, my boobs are slightly bigger and sore...

I am tempted to POAS already, but know it's too early.

Good luck and try to wait a few more days! I'm intrigued about who you are, you namechanger you!

fxfxfxfxfxfxfx · 14/04/2012 17:18

Hah - I'm no one famous :)

Anyway, today is CD 21, boobs still sore, nipples bigger/softer, and I still have the slight sicky thing. Cured by eating though.

I am half sure this is all in my head, and half sure I am pregnant. 6 days to go.

Hi I'll join you - AF due on Sat too. Isn't it so horrid that we have to wait!

Im quietly hopeful as my boobs have gone all veiny and nipples tingling all the time. Also have scratchy feeling in my uterus (presuming that's what it is!).

that said I was actually ill over my fertile time and only managed to DTD at the start and end of my fertile period :( ... time will tell.

Are you going to test early? x

livismum · 14/04/2012 18:00

Ooh I'll be POAS on sat as well! I'm feeling quite hopeful this month as all the "trying" went to plan! And I'm feeling loads of weird little twinges/gurgling that I never normally get so fingers crossed that sat is a positive day for all! Grin

impatient2 · 14/04/2012 18:06

I'm actually on holiday with all my family on Saturday so I'm going to try and test on Friday if I can hold off that long. I'll want to know either way so that if I don't get my bfp I can relax and enjoy a glass of wine or two on arrival and not fret/obsess about it the whole weekend. (I say Friday but in reality I'll probably have a go from about wednesday onwards!)

livismum · 14/04/2012 18:14

We have a wedding on tues (slightly strange I know!) but I'm driving so no worries on not drinking front, then a christening on Sunday, so I'm going to try and hold out till sat, however got a double pack of tests from asda for £1 so "wasting" one on an early go wouldn't hurt!

Also I feel odds must be in favour of being pregnant this month as it would be due on date of my cousins wedding! That has to be typical doesn't it!

Longest 2WW EVER!

impatient2 · 14/04/2012 18:33

oh no that'd be so funny. my friend ended up being bridesmaid 2 days prior to her due date - not a good look!

Double pack for £1 - that's great. I've none in the house as if I did I'd be POAS right now as have absolutely no self-control. We're TTC number 3 so I really should know better.

We started trying at new year, caught 1st month and then mc at 7 weeks. Fell pregnant straight after and mc again at 4-5 weeks. Really want to be pregnant but I think if I'm not it's nature's way of forcing me to give myself a break. Will still be gutted tho.

have you got DC or would this be your first? x

livismum · 14/04/2012 19:12

We are trying for number 3 too!! Got 2 DD's 7 and 3, had a mc at 5weeks when TTC number 2 but fell successfully few months later, both my girls bdays are within 8 days in march so would be nice to have one in another month!

RockChick1984 · 14/04/2012 19:29

Keeping my fingers crossed for you and shamelessly marking my place to find out

impatient2 · 15/04/2012 09:26

OMG I'm the same - almost! 2DD, age 7 & 4 and both birthdays within 3 days of each other in August. A December baby would be lovely (or any other month really). x

JayJ · 15/04/2012 19:08

Hi ladies, can I join you? AF is due on Sunday but due to a family party on Saturday night I am planning on testing on Saturday Morning. Keep telling myself that at least if it isn't our month I can have a glass of Wine or two at the Party. Would much rather have a BFP though! We are also TTC number 3. We have a DS, 6 and a DD 4.

Fingers crossed for us all eh!

hi JayJ! Goodluck for Saturday morning. Have you had any symptoms yet?

I thought mine were quite promising a few days ago but not too sure now as boobs are now sore as well as tingly?? Would normally get sore boobs before AF, and the last two pregnancies (very recent) only had tingly nipples and no soreness. However the last two haven't stuck so perhaps different symptoms would be better?! The ways we torture ourselves! Anyway couldn't resist ordering pg test but have arranged delivery for Friday to stop me poas really really early. x

FurryFox · 16/04/2012 10:39

Hello ladies, good luck to you all testing soon. Think Saturday is a bit early for me to test, I need to wait until at least Tuesday next week I think, feels like ages away.

I also have two dd's, 6 and 4. Had a miscarriage last October at 5 weeks, first month of trying. Haven't really been trying since as kept changing our minds whether we should go for no3 or not, anyway I'm the big 30 this year and we decided to just go for it. Good luck to you all Smile

impatient2 · 16/04/2012 17:03

Hi FurryFox i turned 30 last year and now that all our friends have started having their first babies it has made us all the more broody. Sorry to hear about your mc. x

livismum · 16/04/2012 18:10

Hello everyone nice to lots of other crazy lovely people trying for a third, I'm 31 and it's defiantly a case of being broody because my friend, sister and sister law will soon have had 2 babies each since I had DD2, and if we don't get a wiggle on we'll change our minds!

I'm too having on/off feelings that this will be the month, one minute I feel that this cramping is a good thing then i feel a bit short tempered as per usual at this time of the month Blush

I'm figuring there has to be positive news for a few of us, maybe all! Sending u all nice "positive" vibes!

JayJ · 16/04/2012 22:45

Hi again

Impatient2- I am trying my best not to symptom spot but can't seem to help myself, so far I have awful spots, but I often get this when AF is due. I have IBS and that has really flared up since yesterday, can't remember it being this bad for a while. (it was awful when I was last pregnant) Keep thinking that I have a horrid taste in my mouth too and got a nasty head ache again. All so vague, probably nothing, trying not to get my hopes up. Your symptoms sound promising, I have heard that tingly nipples and sore Breasts are a good sign. Fingers crossed for you. Sorry to read about your 2 loses.

I have also just turned 30, was adamant that 2 was plenty but within the space of about 6 months I seem to have become obsessed with having a 3rd. Really feel it is the right thing for us.

So will you be POAS on Friday morning, will you keep us all posted?

Good luck to everyone on here.

Jay

impatient2 · 17/04/2012 13:30

Hi loving the positive vibes livismum and yes I will be POAS on Friday JayJ.

Not so hopeful anymore though. Burst into tears yesterday at nursery when a friend asked me how I was doing (she knows about the recent mcs). Tears came from absolutely nowhere as i really am fine. So mortified. Blush Only get like that when AF due and not pregnant :(

Hope you guys are all feeling a bit more hopeful - Goodluck to all!

FurryFox · 18/04/2012 10:58

Hi ladies. How are everyones symptoms? I think I am imagining I've got lots which probably aren't even there. I've still got a week till af due arghhhhh.

livismum · 18/04/2012 12:15

Morning!! Doesn't time drag when your waiting to Pee on a Stick!

Had a best friends wedding yesterday and my best friends that know we were considering number 3, were all asking how it was going etc! I will tell them as soon as I know but did feel like shouting shut up at them was trying to have a nice day trying not to symptom spot!

Still cramping on and off which is unusual pre AF so who knows!

livismum · 18/04/2012 12:18

Just realised I put morning at 12.15! Blush

Were all late up this morning so still feels early!

impatient2 · 18/04/2012 12:34

Hello, time is def standing still at the mo!

Still getting (imagining!) symptoms here. I haven't actually had a period since Hogmanay (just the bleeding from the two mc) and we weren't trying then so didn't pay any attention. So in truth don't really have anything to compare symptoms to if that makes sense! Driving myself slowly mad.

livismum everyone knows we were trying too. As I'd always been able to have babies on demand in the past we told everyone that we were trying, then two weeks later that we were expecting and then my hospital stay told everyone (we were meant to be at a big family party that weekend) that we mc'd. Then made the mistake of telling everyone that I fell pregnant 2 weeks after the MC only to MC again. So we've now told everyone that we are NOT trying and that we will leave it till later in the year to try take the pressure off. BUT would so like to be pregnant this month!!!

Not too much longer to go now.. x

FurryFox · 18/04/2012 13:17

Fingers crossed livismum that the cramps are a positive sign and you'll get your bfp soon Smile

impatient What symptoms have you got? I can't remember with my first two pregnancies if I got any early symptoms. Morning sickness kicked in at about 6/7 weeks both times and ended up with hyperemesis.

We haven't told anyone we're ttc no3, my mum knows about the m/c last November and knows we sort of are still trying but not told any friends or other family.

impatient2 · 18/04/2012 15:27

Hi FurryFox, I've got tingly and sore boobs. With my 2DD I felt v faint which made me do a test. Don't know what CD that was on though and can't remember tingly or sore boobs.

I didn't have morning sickness with either girls - that must have been horrible for you.

Do you know what day you can test from? x

FurryFox · 18/04/2012 15:47

Hi impatient, I usually have a 30 day cycle though last month was 29 days. 30 days will be next Wednesday which feels like an age away. Knowing me I will take a test on Sunday. Are you testing Friday?

impatient2 · 18/04/2012 17:44

Hi, yes I will, but as I only have (used to have - who knows now!) a 26 day cycle if I test on Friday that would only be day 25. Don't know if this makes it less likely that a bfp would show up??? If there was one to show of course! Not very clued up on these things..

Still have all the same 'symptoms' but somehow don't feel this is going to be my month :( No idea why.
