Over the last year or two we've had a thread for those who are Just Shagging. Confused by OPKs, too lazy to temp, can't read a chart to save your life? Not quite ready to forgo the Wine? Well stick with us!

Of course it's been SO successful that we're down to a tiny handful of regular posters, as everyone else has graduated and we'll ignore the fact that those of us that are left are probably way beyond Just Shagging. But it's an ethos rather than a strict rule. Come and join the fun .

No rules here, other than EWCM is hereafter known as Pant Snot. AF is known as the Evil Red Tide of Doom (ERTD). Viroids is our name of choice, the reason is long since lost in the annals of time. If you really feel the need to take a test, Gu Ramekins are what all the classy birds are using. And of course, drinking is essential. Sometimes, we even remember to have sex

No KICKING, you've misunderstood me. I mean my last cycle was extra long at 32 days when it's usually about 26/27. So I got my hopes up last month. Now this month I'm up to day 30 with no AF yet. So just waiting to see what happens. From an average of 27 days I'm about 3 days late or my cycle has changed and is now longer and AF is due in 2 days?

Sorry SOMETHING, I'm finding it hard to hear about other peoples pregnancies too. The BLW book sounds good. How old is your DS I've forgotten?

I'm totally against anything like that agree you never know what can happen sadly and even scan pictures I've told my dp I won't put them up until our dc is safely out of my womb, all my friends say I'll change my mind but if I'm one thing it's stubborn!

Talking of something in the water...when we had DS (Dec last year) every other pg lady I knew had a son (between Sept-Feb), finally had a couple of girls born in our 'friends' last month!

something, I will guess your DS weighs 13lbs 6. I always ask people to guess Ds's weight when we get him weighed!

I wouldn't post a pg test or a scan pic on fb....for the reasons south & pinkie said. I didn't want to buy the scan pics incase something went wrong but DH wanted to, but I didn't put the buggy up until DS got here, I'm a superstitious kook.
I get why people do though...a friend of mine has announced her pg on fb today, she's 4-5wks.

Everyone i know last year for the last...4 months....had boys. Then this year, everyone from about December - April have had girls.

horse I think some ppl just share far too much I'm a very private person I see fb as a bit of fun not so the world can see the contents of my womb.

Just my view each to their own of course but I can understand the excitement must take over for some, I'd have to tell my rents and brothers and a close friend or too early on but that's it

Advice - any inspiration on getting the OH to JS when you reckon you are near OV - my OH says he can't perform at the OV point as it's too much pressure, but then will have all his guns blazing on the weekend which is inevitably after I have ovulated

DS is 16 weeks tomorrow and weighs 12lbs 10oz! i didnt post anything on fb until id seen the heartbeat at 9 weeks even though i had a scan at 5. my SIL posted her 5 week scan.

im going to make even more legendry JSing fests one bleeding has stopped. DP not going to know whats hit him.

DS was born on the 21st, found it a bit depressing being in hospital so close to Christmas!

Pinkie, we've talked about it & (if there is a) next time we're not telling anyone until post 12wk scan, told PIL at 5wks and spent the next month or so walking on egg shells!
I post a pic of DS on facebook once a month, but don't have many pics of me.

Yes I agree SOUTH, they don't need to know the specifics if it will make them feel under pressure. In fact best not to mention its that time SUNSHINE and then it's all nice relaxed JS.

Hi all. Sorry ERTDs have arrived for some of you. Mine is MIA. Was due yesterday, but no sign. I'm usually regular at 30 days but I did a test and got BFN (not FMU but at 14dpo it shouldn't need to be).
I'm 99.9% sure I'm not pg but there's a little niggle because I accidentally got FR rapid result when I meant to get FRER and apparently FRRR aren't as sensitive. If it'd been BFN on FRER I'd have been convinced and I don't want to waste money on more tests. I'm hoping writing it down will chase ERTD along.

i am 15 dpo and three days late

i thought i implanted on Saturday though and general thought is that it takes about 5 days to show up on urine tests

RE: Scan pictures. I posted two of the three I had done over the course of the pregnancy on FB. I posted the first one to announce I was pregnant, and the second to announce I was having a girl. I wasn't too concerned about it really - personally I wouldn't be embarrassed about people seeing me as a fetus before I was born, I'd be embarrassed about nude pictures as a baby or toddler which is why I never post them of DD, and untag them when our relatives do it.

One posted one "bump" picture because, to be fair, I was huge! It's a scientific mystery that any human could grow such a large stomach when only having one 9lb3 baby. My family called me "Octomum", and one friend said I had a "comedy belly".

I agree BABY I don't think scan pics would be embarrassing like nude baby or toddler ones would. My cousin somewhere has a photo of me as a toddler weeing on the beach! Mid stream in fact, that would be embarrassing.

Actually you have a fair point horse might wait till we've had our first scan WHEN the time comes (thinking positive)

Sunshine we had the same problem last month, had sex 3 times a week and the day we got a smiley which I think was the end of my surge was fine then next morning, eve and following spent half hour at it and got nowhere

So will keep quiet and he won't know any different

i have been testing ! i have no willpower answer my dh is just as excited

i still haven't had a positive

but going to doc on Thursday to register so will get blood tests done

i posted 9 weeks 13 weeks private 4d at 18 weeks 21 weeks private 4d at 26 weeks and 34 weeks the other scans were emergancys so didnt ask for pictures.

we kept the sex and name of facebook but this is about as big as i got. i really miss my bump :(

wait for testing i think it goads you into bleeding! i was testing to see if my bfp was getting stonger i wiped and then i was bleeding. if im ever late i will wait a week no matter how it kills me. this will be our 3rd month.

sunshine, I second not telling him when you ov and also tell him that ov can actually happen at any time of the month (true) and can vary in timing from month to month ( also true potentially) it might help take the pressure off if he realises this (regardless of what you know about your own ov that month).
