Just Shagging - the lazy way to make a baby! Part, um, 8?

Over the last year or two we've had a thread for those who are Just Shagging. Confused by OPKs, too lazy to temp, can't read a chart to save your life? Not quite ready to forgo the Wine? Well stick with us!

Of course it's been SO successful that we're down to a tiny handful of regular posters, as everyone else has graduated and we'll ignore the fact that those of us that are left are probably way beyond Just Shagging. But it's an ethos rather than a strict rule. Come and join the fun Grin.

No rules here, other than EWCM is hereafter known as Pant Snot. AF is known as the Evil Red Tide of Doom (ERTD). Viroids is our name of choice, the reason is long since lost in the annals of time. If you really feel the need to take a test, Gu Ramekins are what all the classy birds are using. And of course, drinking is essential. Sometimes, we even remember to have sex Wink

So don your shag capes and throw your legs in the air caution to the wind :)

Old thread here if you want proof it works!

Can any of you ladies help?

Today is the end of my 2ww so if ertd doesn't show in the night I'll be a day late tomorrow. I've noticed about 4 tiny red dots on the side on my stomach and underside of left breast, they're the sane colour as strawberry birth mark the size of a small freckle two are ever so slightly raised, they don't hurt or itch, any thoughts?

lollypopsicle · 07/05/2012 07:11

pinkie, could they be skin tags developing? Harmless enough if they are. Also very common in pregnancy, so maybe...?

Pinkie29 · 07/05/2012 08:08

Oh god I hope not ill be covered in them! re skin tags not little flaps?? I noticed a few more this morning, almost like tiny blood blisters they've defo only appeared in the last week

lollypopsicle · 07/05/2012 08:38

Think skin tags can be flaps or sort of little blobs ( almost kind of wart like) it was the location of them that made me think that. Maybe they are blood blisters as you suggest, or a skin reaction to something.

Oh dear something, no JSing in your house later then?! Wink

tiredteddy · 07/05/2012 14:25

No improvements at the teddy house, hangover gone but poorly big boy now. He's very sorry for himself as he's had to miss a party too. Still raining here, yuck!

somethingwittynot · 07/05/2012 15:46

flyingsprocket · 07/05/2012 18:05

Did everyone have a good weekend? I had to work :(

something I really don't know how you do it!! Even when I was your age I don't think I was that dedicated.

pinkie I have quite a few teeny weeny bright red spots on my abdomen, have had them a few years and I don't have kids so not pg related, in fact my OH has a few on his chest too so definitely not pg related in our case!! Got my fingers crossed for you

fraktal dammit woman whats the result??

The end of my first ever 2ww is nigh, ERTD due Wed (well I think it is as it's only my 2nd since coming off the pill) I'm trying so hard to be casual and blasee (sp?!) about the whole thing....but it's frickin hard!!!! I wanna know NOW. Stopped myself unwrapping a POAS test earlier.

We're going to a wedding on Friday so if it doesn't arrive on Wed I will have finally found a use for Gu ramekin Grin

AWomanCalledHorse · 07/05/2012 19:00

I assume frak hasn't posted as she's too busy celebrating a BFP. Or she lives in a soap and she's hanging on for dramatic, cliff hanger-y effect.

:( Boo working weekends flying. Good luck for Fridays POAS!

My ERTD is gone so will resume JS asap, DH has been wonderful with DS (aside from one feed & his bath, DH has done everything) all weekend so he might be too tired tonight.

Hope everyone had a good weekend!

flyingsprocket · 07/05/2012 19:27

Woohoo for lovely DHs and JS woman

Pinkie29 · 07/05/2012 19:31

Horse your DH sounds lovely. DH is equally as good with DS (though he is 8 so a little less hard work involved!)

Something an excellent way to make up and keep warm in one fell swoop- I applaud you :)

Pinkie bad news about your ERTD. It always makes me a bit pissed off and then quite pleased as I am back to a clean sheet. Inevitably by the time my ERTD arrives I have forgotten my dates and times :o

We had a quiet weekend all in all, I had to work Sunday and Monday but only an hour or so. Weather not too bad but most of the time has been spent packing up as we are moving some time next week. I also spent quite some time cooking which is a bit of a passion of mine (sadly my enthusiasm quite outstrips my talent though!) We have also JS'd twice this weekend but are having a night off tonight so DH is watching Grand Designs with a well deserved can of lager and I am pottering about online and baking shortbread.

Fraktal · 07/05/2012 20:50

Sadly no BFP. Just a lot of work on the Let's Talk Gross ££ campaign and the petition I linked to upthread. Please sign and justify my existence Wink

Pinkie29 · 07/05/2012 20:54

Yeah same here banana thanks, have my little cry then ready to try beat the wicked witch again Grin

That's interesting about having a higher chance before you ov problem with me is I don't know when I ovulate as its different every month Confused

topbannana · 07/05/2012 22:17

We have been ttc for so long (though not always with circumstances on our side) that the BFN is something of a routine now. Occasionally I do wonder what would happen if I had a BFP, I think I may go completely into denial Hmm

We are at the stage where our lives continue as normal, for example we are taking DS to see the LeMans 24 hr race next year. Quite what will happen if I DO end up with a second DC is something we have not really considered yet. Added to the fact that I have been resolutely telling anyone nosey enough to ask that we are happy with one DC and pleased to have our life back. Any prospective DC2 will therefore begin life with us in complete denial of its existence :o

BamBam21 · 07/05/2012 23:04

Hi everyone, especially babylann and nelly! Just thought I'd drop by for a visit, and there are so many new faces!!

For those who don't know me, I was a JSer (TTC for about 3yrs), and I now have a beautiful 11wk old boy, as well as my 8 yr old DS from my previous marriage. Can't believe DS2 is nearly 3 mths, and actually feeling like getting back on the JS wagon as I really want to have a daughter at some point too!Smile

babylann and nelly, I really miss you both on the JSing thread! I was thinking about you, and just wanted to say hello. I hope you are both fine. Thanks

mandasand · 08/05/2012 08:12

hello everyone! hope you had lots of nice bank holiday weekends between you.

south, thanks for the link. I learnt a lot more about ovulation there than I knew already! really good resource :)

good luck with the move this week, topbanana!

hi everyone - nice to catch up with news.

three more days of holiday-honeymoon left and my bloomin' ERTD is still with me and getting heavier rather than lighter! keep telling myself this is only second period after the pill so it's bound to be wonky, but I just wish my body would sort itself out :)

Yesterday I had strong period cramps while we were canoeing (random day of activity amongst the slobbing about!) and it really helped to work through them. Waiting for the shoulder/backache to kick in this morning tho. Also starting to feel anxiety levels rising over work and about to send a few emails off. Ah me, back to the real world soon!

AWomanCalledHorse · 08/05/2012 09:02

Sorry about the BFN Frak

BamBam, congrats on your DS. You should come back, there are a few of us with under 1 yr olds.

top Envy at LeMans 24, DH & I are hoping to get to the UK MotoGP next year (DH working this year). Hope your shortbread came out nice!

Pinkie damn the ERTD!

mandasand, canoeing sounds awesome, enjoy the last three days of fun.

south, thanks for the link!

AWomanCalledHorse · 08/05/2012 09:03

somethingwittynot · 08/05/2012 11:36

flyingsprocket · 08/05/2012 15:40

mandasand enjoy the rest of the honeymoon

I caved this morning and POAS, my very first time hoping for a positive Wink of course it was a BFN

ERTD due tomorrowish but I don't feel like it's coming. For the last few weeks I've had very sore boobs and bad indigestion which I don't normally get. Damn syptoms :(
