Over the last year or two we've had a thread for those who are Just Shagging. Confused by OPKs, too lazy to temp, can't read a chart to save your life? Not quite ready to forgo the Wine? Well stick with us!

Of course it's been SO successful that we're down to a tiny handful of regular posters, as everyone else has graduated and we'll ignore the fact that those of us that are left are probably way beyond Just Shagging. But it's an ethos rather than a strict rule. Come and join the fun .

No rules here, other than EWCM is hereafter known as Pant Snot. AF is known as the Evil Red Tide of Doom (ERTD). Viroids is our name of choice, the reason is long since lost in the annals of time. If you really feel the need to take a test, Gu Ramekins are what all the classy birds are using. And of course, drinking is essential. Sometimes, we even remember to have sex

So don your shag capes and throw your legs in the air caution to the wind :)

frak Paris was a freebee won by DP as part of an at work incentive. If there's a BFP before then can just spend the money I would have on wine and gourmet cheeses on cute French baby clothes and accessories =)

DP is at work 6pm-6am i kept seeing material flapping about wich turned out to be his boxers so i tured round and there he was flapping it about a very mature 21 he is. very mature. I worked for the police when I was in the uk and know that unfortunately this kind of thing was becoming more common, but the only upside was that we were more proactive in dealing with it. Really hope you get somewhere! On a different note I laughed out loud at the thought of your dp's helicopter knob!! Your poor mil!! Haha

So, as I've not had any ertd, just a couple of days crampy tum this week and a teeny bit of pale pink/light brown spotting. But the spotting only lasted one day - the cramps for maybe twoish. Can anyone advise what this might mean? I am totally lost with it all, and don't even know if I'm jsing for nothing, I mean can I even get pg? Sigh.

Oh, and hi! bugoven. I loooove Paris - went there on our honeymoon ten years ago this year! One of the things I miss about living in oz now is not being able to visit Europe easily.

thanks for sharing your sepsis experience, something. I've just read the article and it sounds a horrible, horrible time. hope it didn't take too long to get completely back to full health and that everything's fine now :-)

manasand thankyou i spent 3 week on hospital 6 of them in the HDU attatched to drips heart rate, bp and oxygen monitors but im better now and thats the main thing!

something, that sounds truly horrid! I'd hate to have to stay in hospital after the birth, it's my worst nightmare, before I even think about being I'll on top of it! Must have been such a relief when you came out the other side!!

Why would you think I'd be doing a kitten???!!! I don't even know if I've ovulated yet, far less fertilized! Lol. If only it was that quick!!!

do you know how long your cycles are because those pains could of been ov pains and the spotting could be ov spotting. since ive had DS i get ov spotting but never had pre-DS.

something that sounds pretty scary. At least the police seem to be taking it seriously. Horrible for you though, I hope they find who it is soon. Good luck for TBM, that should distract you at least, as if your DP isn't distracting enough

So I think I was wrong about OVing, coz I got right sided Ov pains yesterday. And we've managed to get on plenty of JSing, so now its fingers crossed

Persuasion I have had a mixture of pains/twinges/pulling sensations for a few weeks and am now CD38 with no sign of ERPD (think that's the right acronym for JS). I PIAPTOCHC (peed in a pot that originally contained hair conditioner) last night and still getting a negative result. I think this really does show that I have no idea what my body is up to and JS is the best way for me.

Eurgh! Woke up today with horrible cramping on one side. Comes and goes like someone squeezing me! Never had it before is this ov pain?

Hur hur hur something I know the feeling. ERTD has just finished and we have had family over all weekend but are alone again, just the three of us, in the peace and quiet :o

Having said that we have already had a couple of cheeky drinks due to the awful weather, the need to finish many nine tenths empty bottles before we move, and relief that this weekend is over. We could in all probability be passed out before Silent Witness at this rate :o

I'm debating when to test again, when's everyone else testing? We used to have testfests where everyone who was due to test at roughly the same time tested the same day. That sounds weird now, doesn't it?!

fractal I'm going to test Thursday FMU if nothing's changed. Not in anything made of glass though - took me ages to clear the tumbler debris out of the loo last time

If ERTD is not here by Friday ( when it's due) then I'm testing then as I have a wedding on Saturday. We're staying overnight without DS so if I can drink, I definitely will! Having said this, I have of course convinced myself I'm preggo. Yup, yup.

It sounds like something is doing enough just shagging for all of us, I am very impressed! We have js daily since Monday and I am pretty sure ovulation was sat so here's hoping.

bug the pain I had is the same as I used to get mid cycle with the mire a, alternating sides and 13-14 days before ERTD due, so I feel relatively sure it's OV but I could be wrong.

persuasion it was mighty messy and meant I had to wonder around with my knickers round my ankles desperate for a wee trying to find another container. My DP then cut his finger and cried out so had to go downstairs still bursting to investigate the screaming. Will make a funny story to tell my future DCs.

Our weekend away was successful (in terms of JS), less so in terms of having fun (we both fell asleep before midnight on Sat & cba to go for dinner so got room service).
BFN for me this morning, and no more signs of ERTD (except putting on weight, great). I PIASDLPT (pee in a sainsburys duck liver pate pot).

bug that really does sound messy, like one of those slapstick comedy sketches! Did you manage to find something else to pee in instead, or have you just given up until thursday?

I found a very much unbreakable plastic container that used to have hair conditioner it it. It is also bright pink which soften the blow of another negative result. It was very funny and quite typical for me

what lovely weather! took DS for a walk round the park this morning and are all packed up, beds collapased ( the one were taking isnt the one we sleep on) and just have to collapse DS's cot tomorrow. Phew!
