4dpo and discovered that FF is actually quite pleased with me, SWI'd bang on ov day which was extremely lucky as DH was away CD1-ov dayand again straight after that. Which kind of makes me think It's Meant. Also trying for a boy, as we have 4 (lovely and fantastic) DDs.

So temp high this morning. As high as any time post ov.
Went to the loo, saving my wee in a cup, and nothing. No spotting nothing.
Excitedly I cracked open a test and nothing. Not even a line that I could pretend was a positive.
Wiped again and there she was. Grinning red bitch.

pipbin i read your post and thought to myself 'oh i know that feeling that's happened to me before', then went back to loo , i had tested this morning first thing , temp up a bit, checked cm internally, cloudy no blood, went ahead and did a test without any real hope- sure enough negative. Anyway second wee of day and I wiped some pink blood. Another internal and more blood. what a coincidence eh??
oh well at least i can definately say i'll be day 5 when i go to have test done on Monday. Good luck to everyone waiting.

Oh Pipbin and blackcats - I'm so sorry . Not just that you got AF but that she came just after testing. That's really unfair!

thanks treats and limeleaf feeling bit down with it. It was always unlikely this month but got pregnant so easily last time, bit significant that now its longer (though admittedly hormones were all over the place for first 2 periods post MC). Anway sun is out, day off work shall go out and try not to dwell.

Oh blackcats and pip I'm so sorry. I know it's hard when you can feel time slipping away from you. Here's some all around. I'm 6dpo with very faint spotting (a tinge really) on and off pretty much since I ovulated so I know I'm out this month too. I'll be right behind you!

Well this hasn't turned into proper AF, just spotting all day.
But red spotting this time so I'm sure she's coming.

Blimey, Feb babies already?! I suppose it will be. Valentines Day babies, perhaps! That would be a good month to be born - right in the middle of the school year (so neither oldest nor youngst in the class), everyone tends to be around so will come to your birthday party!

I'm only 2-3 dpo so still hopeful for January. Even testing seems a long way off.

Well it's not good here. DH is still having issues, such that I'm going to book him into docs next week. Other symptoms in the same area so we hope it's a simple infection and not a prostrate problem.
Things were a little better last night, 30s instead of 5s

After my post poas AF yesterday there was nothing. No blood just a little bit of brown spotting.
And today, nothing. Even after my run, nothing. Just EWCM.
Temp still high.
I'll poas again tomorrow if nothing happens.

well i had day 2 tests today. FSH, LH ,prolactin and oestradiol. GP very nice, very reassuring. Am having progesterone tests done later in cycle. She didn't think the tests show much, she said they usually come back and all she can say is 'fine'- unless something is seriously out (i.e menopausal). She said progesterone useful to see if you're ovulating but as i'm having regular periods and my temp goes up every month she said i probably am. mentioned the tests can be useful for another condition- which i clearly have no indicators for (PCOS i think she said). i should have seen her to get consent for tests then booked in for nurse to do them but she saw the nurses were booked solid all day and Monday would be too late so even though she was running late she said "roll up your sleeve, seeing as you're here and its day 2 let's sneakily do it now". so nice of her- i'd have had to wait a month otherwise.

That's good Black. I was lucky like that with my tests too. Right time of the month and the nurse could do the swabs there and then, and I go passed the hospital on the way home so I could get the blood tests done quickly.

Good to hear from you MummyNick I was wondering how you were getting on. Your poor DH, it must be quite stressful for him. Its not an easy thing to talk openly about. Hope it does turn out to be just an infection - imagine if some antibiotics could resolve it...

Pipbin whenever you post about your cycle it baffles me! But I hope your lack of AF and continued high temps prove to be a good sign.

blackcats that is lucky! Waiting a few days can seem forever when you're ttc, so another month would have been really annoying. Your GP sounds really nice unlike mine.

Not much news here - temps a bit erratic but post ov and too soon to symptom spot... playing the waiting game. I'm out for a meal with friends tonight though, that will be a nice distraction.

Pipbin would it be ok to say that it all sound (whispers) quite positive? Bizarre, yes, but positive. When are you nest going to poas?

Anyone going to test Mon/Tues. I have a 10 day lp, which i know sounds rubbish but has not proved a problem the last four pregnancies so am hoping it won't again. So Mon will be 10dpo and looking at my last FF chart I got a very faint pos then. Prob better to wait for Tues. But you see the thing is am scheduled to have implanon put in on wed (don't ask, I clearly cannot make a decsion about DC5) and really should cancel it. wanders off mumbling

I don't know whats going on Lime. I'm sure I'm getting period pains right now. I don't want to go to the loo as I'm sure AF will have turned up.
If she hasn't I'm going to test tomorrow.
