How long did it take you to concieve your 2nd?

Going into month 6 of trying for a 2nd child. I fell pregnant with DS after just 3 months, so I am finding it all a little disheartening. I was wondering how long it took others to concieve again in relation to previous pregnancies.

6 months for first, one month for second.

4 months for first, 1 month for second which was a surprise as told it can take a lot longer for second.

Have you been recording your temperatures to see if you are ovulating as this can be a problem second time around?

1 month for DD1 and 18 months DD2.

Just started for number 3 so hoping somewhere in the middle .

DS took 1 month to conceive.

DD took no time as we weren't planning her just yet .

about 3 minutes
We decided on new years day that we would try after next cycle (had come off pill xmas day)
LMP was 27/Jan dp was away until the 13th Feb, and from the 15th feb til the 25th got + test on the 26th
We only did it once
Now number 3 is taking sodding years!!!!!!!!!!!

DS1 conceived on Clomid on first cycle after 11 months and being told I'd never have children four years previously.

DS2 conceived first month (was amazed!).

You could try a Persona to see when you ovulate?

i think it was month 6 we conceived dd2, just when i sort of give up a bit, we went on holiday and hey presto!

Concieved 1st month/straight away with 1st/DD

Conceived after 2 months of 'carelessness' and one month of 'trying'.

I am lucky enough to have always got very clear natural signs of when i ovulate so i guess that was always a huge help for me.

It was definitely longer for me second time around. DD was conceived on month 2 of trying, the one I've currently got 'cooking' took 7 months !!

Straight away with DS1,

DS2 was an 'accident' (but a nice one, just a bit earlier than we planned)

With DD we started trying in 6/02, concieved and miscarried in 10-11/02 and finally got pg with DD in 02/03.

1ST MONTH WITH ALL 3 (CURRENTLY COOKNIG NO.3!)

i was told in 2001 i had endo and my chances of conceiving anturally were 1%.......jsut goes tos how.

my cycle def changed. i convceived on day 14 with my ds's. and didnt think id be preg this time as we dtd on days 10,12 and 13.....

try all days to make sure!!! LOL

I conceived straight away with mine... It helped that I knew when I was ovulating and after we did it I slept with a pillow under my bum..
I guess the sperm had nowhere else to go
