Smegs that sounds painful - may I suggest an eighth of poppy seeds to take the edge off?

Bye bye Bean have a lovely time. Please do pop back in from time to time - we'll really miss your presence on the thread. Plus having a visitor gives us an excuse to go baking mad.

I haven't done jury service but would like to. I'm pretty sure that solicitors weren't allowed to until relatively recently so I'm glad they've got rid of that rule.

whimsicalname · 21/03/2012 13:37

imps I keep meaning to ask you, is your job like Suits? Which one are you?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 21/03/2012 13:41

I just read the Bear thread. I actually cried with laughter. Oh my

Totally off topic but aaawww!

My puppy play pen arrived today Grin

BartletForAmerica · 21/03/2012 14:16

Sparkle, do you remember when Gordon Brown famously refused to say what was his favourite biscuit on a MN chat? Think it comes from that.

Whims I've never heard of Suits! But if you've ever seen this film (which is brilliant btw), I'm like the solicitor in that.

Loopyhasanotherbean · 21/03/2012 15:27

yet another quick post, DS means i don't get on here for long enough to ever properly name check.

bean sorry to see you go, hope we see you back soon, with the ironic not even TTC BFP.

and maybe i had tried internet cheapies, but they didn't give me any BFP's, after feeling like i was going crazy, i resorted to splashing out on a First Response Early Test and a Clear Blue Digital. And got a BFP on both with afternoon urine. CD38?!?! my BFP finally happened on...CD37.....it ain't over till its over Grin

Biscuitsandtea · 21/03/2012 16:13

Thanks so much bartlett you're totally right - and if there was something wrong I'd never forgive myself if I didn't pursue it. I'll phone the gp tomorrow and get an appointment with someone else. Part of the problem is that the blood lab can decide to overrule the gp and just not test what's asked of them Shock which is what happened last time.

My tilt was picked up at a smear, but my mum n sister have it too.

Can't remember what else has been said (am using my phone, what a faff) but hope everyone has had a lovely Wednesday :)

pop 11 weeks already - my oh my time flies. I am pleased all the recently PSEPP are sticking with us here for now.

shiny am so pleased things going well, but you must go back and get the progesterone if you feel it is needed.

The tilt theory is very interesting, I had never heard of it before TTC. The Nurse has never mentioned anything at my smears but I haven't asked either. Interesting on the different positions theory too, defo something to consider. Might spice things up for SWI too.

Imps counting down the days for you too until you leave for the new place. I love Suits too. I really enjoy that sort of thing and loved Law and Order too.

Never done jury duty either but until last year I was a Magistate, but had to give it up due to work commitments. It was really interesting and would love to go back to it later in life.

shinyblackgrape · 21/03/2012 22:03

Hi all - just popping in as v tired so going to sleep. Hope all well? Will catch up properly tomorrow. All fine with me. Mentalling calmed down very slightly to only consume 98% of day!

BartletForAmerica · 21/03/2012 23:10

pop, v quick before I go to sleep but make sure that your blood form says you are pregnant, then they should do TSH and T4, although TSH is the important one.

BeedleTheBard · 22/03/2012 05:40

Just popping in to say good morning.

I don't, as far as I know, have a tilted uterus (do I have to leave now Shock Grin )

Completely forgotten what else I was going to say so I'll just wave to all the rat-smackers and PSEPPs

Morning all!

Beedle as far as I know, my uterus is straight? Grin

Brilliant news to the end of rat smacking Sparks

I got up at 3.30 for this ridiculous experiment....only to find once I got to that station that my trains aren't running. God bless Greater Anglia. Luckily DH is on days, so he drove me to his work, then I got the tube back to mine. Yawn. Me thinks it is going to be a long day.

Still no AF here. I feel so so bloated to the point of almost pain. Bleurgh.

Glad you have 2% of the day off mentalling Shiny Grin

Scarlett how many days till puppy comes home? Did you decide on a name? You can always borrow mine if you want. He is being a right riyal pain in the arse this last week.

Think I am going to sit at my desk and cast on a mitten. I think it is acceptable to knit at work when there's no one here Grin

BeedleTheBard · 22/03/2012 07:22

ooh sparkle I've got the day off tomorrow too, and maybe is going to the spa - we can go with her, I'm sure she won't mind Grin
Well done on the rat-smacking, and no POAS for at least10 14 days Grin

Imps7 · 22/03/2012 07:27

Morning Smacketeers!

18 days til PIAR, eh Sparks? Not a chance, we'll break you way before then!

How much is it that you pay for a season ticket Maybe? Angry There is a reason why train companies are in my top 3 of things to hate.

I know I have a nice cervix - when I went for swabs to see if there was anything dodgy about mid-cycle bleeding the GP had a look and said it was looking nice and healthy. I felt rather proud of myself.

My month of rat smacketing may well be enforced this month - OH hasn't been home for the last 2 nights due to work and he's unlikely to get back tonight. We're also spending Sunday night apart (again, mainly due to his work) and egg popping is likely to be on Monday...there's still time of course but after having worked 15 hour days all week he's going to be knackered. Oh well, let's just see how that there cookie crumbles.

So who's having a cake sale at work for Sport Relief?? I organise our one every year - before I started they didn't have one, and when I first asked to organise one it was a massive battle to get them to agree (Hmm) - however, we raise around £250 a year and it's the only time when people in the office have something nice to talk about so it's nice to do. I've already started baking and have a baking even set aside tonight - can't wait!

Imps7 · 22/03/2012 07:27

Oooh yes Maybe which spa treatment did you go for??

Imps7 · 22/03/2012 07:28

Gaah, my month off rat smacketing, not of ...

Imps7 · 22/03/2012 07:29

Sparks I meant to ask - what's Instagram?
