Computer says "no" Bean!

Stasi your boss is out of order. Did he say why? What are you going to do? I've got a good feeling about your BFP chances this month! When are you going to test next?

GenericDietCola · 30/03/2012 12:54

Oh yes Smegs I forgot to say your symptoms all sound very exciting to me and how wonderful would an ironic BFP be so you could tell your doctor you are in fact fertile and with child?! Test tomorrow with FMU please!

I am having left sided ov twinges, just hope it's two eggs popping at once so I can have my boy/girl twins in time for Christmas. Ooh and if it was twins they would probably be early so we can definitely all be home in time for Christmas dinner! Hurrah!

Hello Bean how is the relaxed approach going? We do miss you y'know.

GenericDietCola · 30/03/2012 12:55

Ooh Imps is it Sweetie? Not sure really... Unless it's you?

Imps7 · 30/03/2012 13:01

Not Sweetie... okay, clue time:

  1. It's easy to tell what two of her favourite things are.

Good egg popping Generic! Conception of twins: Done.

Stasi · 30/03/2012 13:02

Biscuits!

ScrambledSmegs · 30/03/2012 13:06

Err... not a scooby, sorry!

Does anyone have a truly great macaroni cheese recipe? I had an ok one at a cafe recently, and I've become absolutely obsessed with making my own superior version. I've found some interesting ones on t'internet, but I don't like the idea of befouling it with weird things like bay leaves or garlic.

Hmm... does that sound like a craving to you?!

Imps7 · 30/03/2012 13:12

Nope Stasi - she's a current brooker, not a graduate!

Smegs deffo a craving! I've never made macaroni cheese, but if I were to jazz it up, I may be inclined to add smoked bacon to the cheese sauce. Or maybe use blue cheese or brie etc. Or maybe add some sundried tomatoes. Ohh yum!

Imps7 · 30/03/2012 13:14

Oh, and I'd probably sprinkle breadcrumbs on top to make a crispy topping (actually, that may be an important step anyway). Am deffo going to make this next week!!

ScarlettInSpace · 30/03/2012 13:14

smegs I use jamie olivers, here but I have to be honest, I've never followed a recipe to the letter in my life, I'm always adding things and changing things to suit me Blush

BeedleTheBard · 30/03/2012 13:22

Its me, my favourite things are beedles and bards :o

Imps7 · 30/03/2012 13:24
Grin
Stasi · 30/03/2012 13:29

Did Popcorn say it?

(Popcorn do you like popcorn chicken and Fries?)

ScrambledSmegs · 30/03/2012 13:30

Imps breadcrumbs are essential to a good macaroni cheese! I was thinking of using this recipe and adding some bacon as well. I'll nip to the cheese shop this afternoon to pick up some seriously strong gruyere, any excuse to malinger in the cheese cave...

Imps7 · 30/03/2012 13:32

No Stasi - Pops is a graduate and the Mystery Kitchen Gadget Collecter is not a graduate!

Clue 3 - she hasn't posted today, but she did yesterday (in breach of the rules)...

ScrambledSmegs · 30/03/2012 13:32

Malinger? Thanks autocorrect. I meant linger. In a nice way.

Stasi · 30/03/2012 13:37

I consider Pops and Biscuits to be fully part of this thread :)

GenericDietCola · 30/03/2012 13:38

Cupcakes - it's Cupcakes!

Smegs I put bacon and mushrooms in macaroni cheese and it is ossom.

Damn it! Too slow to get my guess for Cupcake in!

Imps7 · 30/03/2012 13:47

Arg I'm not excluding any of the graduates from Which Smacketeer Said That? as they are all still fully part of the thread, it's just that in the last round it was a current brooker rather than a graduate!

Well done to Generic and Sparks - top guessing!

Chin up Sparks - you will get your BFP!

Imps7 · 30/03/2012 13:51

Okay, last round:

"Hmmmm no my cervix is pretty obviously placed."

Which Smacketeer Said That?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 30/03/2012 13:54

Its a sign!! I'm sitting opposite a woman having a twin baby shower. Imps its not you is it? You are glowing.

Will catch up properly later. But Whims I'm so bloomin pleased for you still x

GenericDietCola · 30/03/2012 13:56

Ooh don't know that one!

Sparks preggo symptom perhaps?

I feel a bit down too, but the egg is popping so my bed will be a-rocking tonight and I WILL SMACK THAT PESKY RAT!

McPopcornMouseNFries · 30/03/2012 13:57

Stasi that's terrible! I'd tell him to get stuffed Shock - and I'd write down the whens and wheres, too, incase I unexpectedly got the sack... But honestly, between that, and being "replaced" whilst on sick leave, you probably have a case for constructive dismissal or something??

And yes, I do like popcorn chicken... but my name comes from my fat food-obsessed cat who likes to eat popcorn-sized mice (several a night, in fact) :o

GreenOlives · 30/03/2012 13:59

Whims Yay! Fabulous news! Grin I am ready for the tutorial of what you did differently this month to secure a BFP? Although clearly I will not need this info (seeing as I am already diffed with twins) but the information may be useful to friends etc in the future Wink

Maybe You are so diffed! And your DH is lovely - breakfast in bed is great! Smile Hope you're having a lovely day with your Dad.

Smegs I am feeling very positive for you too - FMU testing is definitely in order for tomorrow!

Imps I hope you are taking it easy now, gymnastics and extreme canoeing are not recommended in your condition Grin

Sparkle Big squishy hug for you my love!

I really like the idea of macaroni cheese (as I love pasta and I love cheese!) However I find all cheesy/creamy pasta dishes quite sickly and therefore tend to only go for tomato based pasta dishes. Maybe I should try making one with bacon and/or tomatoes?
