Hi ladies :) me and my fiancé have been trying for a while and I've got to the point where every little thing seems like a possible sign I'm pregnant, now! I was due on my period today but no sign, I've had spots popping up all over the show and I never get spots due to super dry skin. I've got really bad backache and lots of CM at the moment. Only thing is I don't want to go and get excited over nothing like I have the past months. I'm testing at the weekend when my fiancé is home from work's training course but in the meantime would love to chat to someone in the same boat! Thanks ladies :) x

Hi Alice!
Sounds hopefully-but I have never been pregnant (despite a year of trying :() so that's only a guess, I spend about ten days every cycle thinking I could be! If AF hasn't arrived I have my fingers crossed for you it's looking good-keep us posted!!! :)

WonderlandAlice · 15/03/2012 20:36

Thank you I promise I will :) I totally feel your pain though, every time I feel even slightly nauseas I'm thinking, this is it! It's so hard not to get yourself all worked up, I hate seeing those BFN! x

I know my AF is due tommorow, did a test on Wednesday (no willpower whatsoever!!) and was a bfn so don't think there is much hope! But it's not over until AF arrives! No one ever prepares you for what a hard and emotionally draining journey ttc is! Have you been ttc long? X

WonderlandAlice · 15/03/2012 20:51

You never know though! :) one of my friends got a BFN and had two AFs whilst in early pregnancy - when she found out she was almost 3 months! So I'll still keep my fingers crossed for you because this could be the month! We've been ttc now for 6 months, which sounds nothing to most people but feels like forever! Are you going to test again in a few days? xx

Happilymarried155 · 15/03/2012 22:07

I do keep telling myself that I'm still in with a chance! Yes il see what happens tommorow and if AF doesn't arrive I will test. I know people tell you it can take a while, but I always thought it would only take a few months and with every month that goes by it gets more and more stressful! When are you planning on testing? X

WonderlandAlice · 15/03/2012 23:30

It really is hard isn't it? You're so right about it being emotionally draining too! No wonder I feel so knackered! I've got definite AF cramps this evening so I think it's all over for me once again this month :( still keeping my fingers crossed for you though :D if there's still no sign of AF on Saturday I'll rest with my OH, otherwise it'll be next month!
Boo! Let me know how your test goes! Fingers crossed xx

WonderlandAlice · 15/03/2012 23:31

*test with my OH even! :) x

Thank you :-) I will also be testing Saturday morning if AF hasn't arrived today so we should keep each other posted! Good luck xxx

WonderlandAlice · 16/03/2012 16:32

Hope AF made no appearance today! Despite aches I've not yet had AF show herself, so you never know! Hopefully you'll get your BFP on Mother's Day weekend, how lovely would that be! :Dxx

OP posts:
Happilymarried155 · 16/03/2012 17:02

AF hasn't arrived for me yet either, I'm really suprised! :-D I've been feeling abit sick today but I'm not sure if it's the thought of AF arriving or genuine sickness!! Fingers crossed, nothing arrives and tommorow we get our BFP!! Would be the most lovely thing ever! X

WonderlandAlice · 16/03/2012 18:20

Ooh how exciting :D it's so hard because when you want something this much it's so easy I've found to almost 'create' symptoms. I've been sooo hungry these last couple of days and super hot, so I don't know if this is it or if AF is hiding round the corner like always! Is your AF pretty regular? So lovely to have someone to talk to about it! :) xx

Happilymarried155 · 16/03/2012 19:44

Yes sort of, I have been monitoring my ovulation and I tend to ovulate at different times but my luteaul phase is always 16 days without faith and today is day 16!! It is really nice to talk to someone as no one really knows we are ttc, I didn't want the pressure of everyone questioning me! I don't want to be too hopeful, after a year it just doesnt seem possible that il get a BFP!! X

WonderlandAlice · 16/03/2012 20:23

This is so exciting :D I'm feeling really positive for you! They say 90% of couples conceive in the first year so you never know :D all I can say is your future baby/babies are so lucky to have parents who want them as much as you do! :) I know what you mean about pressure, we've said nothing either for the same reasons. So lovely to talk to someone in the same boat though! I'm buying a test in the morning, sooo nervous! Have you got yours? xx

Happilymarried155 · 16/03/2012 20:33

Yes got mine in the bathroom cabinet ready, haven't told dh that AF hadn't arrived, we have both found the last couple of months quite difficult and sad and I don't want to get his hopes up so thought I'd just do the test in the morning and see what happens-hopefully I will have a nice suprise for him! We have 7 sets if close friends due over the next 6 months :( i so hope we both get the outcome we want tommorow :-) everything's crossed!! Your last comment was really lovely! X

WonderlandAlice · 16/03/2012 21:12

Ooh it's so exciting :D thank you so much for the good luck, straight back at you honey! It would be so amazing to both get BFP's together! I'll let you know as soon as I've done it! AF cramps have died way down today so getting hopeful :D I can't believe seven of your friends are expecting! That's craziness! Three of mine are and I thought that was loads haha! Soon it'll be you though and it'll mean so much when it is :D Awh thank you well I meant it all :) so exciting isn't it! Fingers crossed :D :D xxxx

In excited to hear of you any news today :) I tested and got a bfn-not at all suprised! AF hasn't arrived yet tho, so I will wait and see what happens today. Hope your news is better than mine!! :)

WonderlandAlice · 17/03/2012 09:57

Oh no :( Sadly I also got a BFN! I was a bit shocked really, I'd really got it into my head that it was going to be positive :( big hugs to you. Good news is no AF for both of us, when will you test again? xx

OP posts:
Happilymarried155 · 17/03/2012 10:02

Oh no!! I thought you would get a BFP! Not sure, think tummy feels abit twingjy so AF might be on its way, if I get the chance I will prob test on Monday! Oh well, fingers crossed AF doesn't arrive, if it does at least I now have a crazy cycle buddie to talk too for next month! X

WonderlandAlice · 17/03/2012 10:31

I was feeling really hopeful but not to be :( but like you say at least we both have someone to chat about it to now :D I feel so much better for being able to speak to someone in the same position so thank you! :) still got a bit of a dull ache but no other AF symptoms, and looooads of CM today (sorry if TMI!) so not got a clue what's going on! I'll keep my fingers crossed for us both cause you never know :D xx

Hi ladies I watched your thread the past couple of days and Sad to hear no bfp yet .. I'm kind of in the same place been off the pill since oct but first cycle this month ttc. My cycle never the same length but my letuel phase always 15 days which means I'm due af 20 th march but with sore boobies tearfulness and nausea BlushBlushBlush I'm convicted I am upduffed.. But the 3 tests I've done over the past 5 daysBlush have all (been way too early) and bfn I know I have a few days realistically but I felt so Sad with another bfn this morning

Fingers crossed for us all that af doesn't show up and we could have 2012 babes still! GrinGrin

Happilymarried155 · 17/03/2012 13:14

I'm out in afraid ladies, AF has arrived :( feeling suprisingly ok about it to be honest, I got myself in such a crying mess last month I swore I wouldn't do it again! I'm off to have abit of retail therapy and think positive thoughts about the next cycle! Good luck to you guys tho and keep me posted!! I have my fingers crossed for you both and if not we have each other to crazy with over the next month!!

Mumtum wanted, love the name! It could still be to early don't lose hope :)

Hoping I'm going to hear some BFP news over the few days!!! X

WonderlandAlice · 17/03/2012 13:15

Hi MumTum :) sounds like we're all in the same boat then! Hopefully you've tested too early and your BFP is still on the way :) like HappilyMarried said, until AF comes it isn't over so you never know! Have you had any other symptoms? :) xx

WonderlandAlice · 17/03/2012 13:16

Any sign of your AF? Xx

Pinkie29 · 18/03/2012 11:02

I feel your pain ladies! On our 2nd cycle ttc 1st baby, I've never been pregnant that i know of. Am 3 days late now no sign of af at all and got a bfn yesterday Sad my cycle varies from 33 - 46 days but since coming off the pill in jan they've been 33 days. Normally my boobs are mega sore by now but there's nothing although they are bigger and fuller than usual? I've had a strange niggling/scratching feeling for about a week now where I'd usually get the dull af cramp, praying I ovd late and it's too early to test!

a little rant... Everyone else we know just seems to 'fall' pregnant while on the pill or by accident and I'm like 'really?!' why can't that happen to those of us that want it is much Sad
