Going slowly mad! Are these signs?

Hi ladies :) me and my fiancé have been trying for a while and I've got to the point where every little thing seems like a possible sign I'm pregnant, now! I was due on my period today but no sign, I've had spots popping up all over the show and I never get spots due to super dry skin. I've got really bad backache and lots of CM at the moment. Only thing is I don't want to go and get excited over nothing like I have the past months. I'm testing at the weekend when my fiancé is home from work's training course but in the meantime would love to chat to someone in the same boat! Thanks ladies :) x

Ooo thanks hellokittyrules! Let's hope it's the same for me, did have a few cramps last night but had a mountain of roasted veg at dinner haha x

Feeling very nauseas today :/ I'm reluctant to test again just yet as the arrival of af seems less disappointing than a bfn? I have an app on my phone called ink pad it's pretty good with tracking cycles and predicting ov cycle, tells me I'm now 7 days late! Cd41! x

Thanks I'm trying to hold out till next Friday on my bday haha! Can't even ask my mum for advice as me and dp swore we wouldn't tell anyone we were ttc as didn't want added pressure x

Still waiting... 9 days late day 43 :/ going to wait until I'm 2 weeks late before I test again or get hopeful as I've had cycles of 46 days in the past so to me I'm not really late? Boobs are a little tender at the sides an noticed very very faint spidery veins on my nipples although never closely inspected that much so could have always been there?! Been a bit crampy last night an thurs so sure shes on the way and all run down with the sniffles x

I'm not so sure, especially with the sniffles you could still be in with a chance Pinkie! I wish you all the best of luck, it would be lovely if one of us got a bfp this cycle :) fx for you! x

And I'm starving a few hours after eating? Well I'm going to test on Friday had a brief temptation last night but convinced myself it needs to be fmu... Few more days and yes would be ace if it was a bfp

Hi Pinkie :) Good that you've got an appointment, hope it turns out to be nothing though. I found out last December that I have large cysts on both ovaries, although I don't have PCOS. I was getting a mild discomfort in my lower abdomen every day, though I always had a regular period every month. They scanned me, gave me a blood test and then came back with the result. They can tell by the hormones in the blood test whether or not you have PCOS so hopefully you'll get a result soon. The good news is, two of my close friends have PCOS and one of them is pregnant with her first and the other has two boys. Hopefully your results will be clear and next month we'll all be celebrating our BFP's! :) Here's hoping! xx

Ah that's great news Alice so there's hope for us yet! I had a scan years ago think I was about 23 as I was having major discomfort during sex they didn't find anything on the scan back then but didn't do any blood tests? I'd basically just rather find out sooner than later if theres a problem x

Yeah exactly, best to know. The good news is it doesn't necessarily mean infertility so it can be managed :) do you get monthly af's? If so it probably isn't PCOS but could be poly cystic ovaries. Fingers crossed for you pinkie :) x

How daft is this, was staying at my parents weds eve as dp was out, I've left my bbt thermometer under the pillow in the spare room! No-one knows we're trying and it's got a 'baby mad' logo!! Haven't had a call yet...

Something pretty bizarre has happened to me today. I came off my AF on Tuesday 27th and yesterday, the 31st, noticed a teeny tiny bit of pink spotting in the afternoon. Nothing afterwards or this morning when I woke up. Bizarre. Well this afternoon I went out for a drive to clear my head and when I've come back I've seen quite a lot of pink spotting (sorry if TMI), almost as if AF is coming AGAIN. Does anyone know what this is? My OH says it could be stress but I've never felt so relaxed as I have this past week - we've really spent some quality time together (not talking about babies haha) and enjoying one another without the pressure of baby talk! So I don't know. I think if it turns into a full on AF I'll take a trip to the GP, but just in the meantime wondered if any of you had had it? xx

Yeah I'm thinking mum had kids that long ago they probably didn't exist haha, they'd be chuffed to bits that we're trying but I just don't want the added pressure of 'are you pregnant yet?' everytime I visit! No idea about the spotting sorry if it keeps up worth a trip to the docs just to check all is ok got my appointment tomorrow morning! We've had an ace weekend too must be the weather x

Well had my appointment this morning! Went really well he's arranged for me to have an ultrasound to check the ovaries he said they wouldn't consider infertility as an issue unless we'd been actively trying for 12-18 months and still
got nowhere unless the ultrasound shows up with cysts then they'll look at doing further tests x
