Welcome aboard ladies.
Please be seated, you may undo your seatbelts as soon as you see the SWI sign light up.

I'll be coming round with cake, biscuits and wine.

Come on girls, we can do it this month.

Heads held high and legs akimbo, off we go.

Chunky congrats on the house - very exciting and the Not testing!

I haven't been awake much of this flight but now in need of miniatures from the trolley. So this 2ww I have had lots of symptoms mainly feeling nauseous every morn for last 5/6 days and little cramps & twinges since then. Boobs getting sorer & bigger by the day (don't usually have this Pre af) and 3 dreams in row I was pregnant. So last night were staying at friends - a welcome distraction from the 2ww last night lots pinky/light brown cm on tp and again this morn. Af not due til weds and usually regular. Then wide awake after 2 hours for most of night - just felt pregnant. V hot this morn (stupidly forgot bbt thermometer!) so couldn't check temp for 2nd rise..... (I'm hoping)

So now I'm thinking this could be implantation bleeding? Got home and did an ic with smu and got bfn :(

Have shuttered door and windows and guess the next couple of days will tell if early af or bfp. We are ttc#1 and never been pg before so any advice other peeps can give re timing of poss imp bleed and poas would be fab.

Chunkychicken · 11/03/2012 13:48

Thanks Roxy :)

I think implantation occurs between 6-10dpo so any bleeding that would happen is likely to appear around then, maybe a tad later, because it has to 'work its way out'. If it is implantation bleeding, you won't get a BFP until the hCG in your blood is high enough, so in a couple of days.

Also, don't want to dishearten you but you won't really get symptoms until implantation, because the symptoms are caused by increased hormone levels and presence of hCG in the blood. So if it is implantation, the symptoms are prob related to something else...

But no way to know until AF/BFP. Fingers crossed x

CandyPop · 11/03/2012 18:49

Ah congrats on the house chunky . This really has been your month!

Ah so I googled sainsbury's test and it doesn't look good. Apparently a lot of ppl seem to get false faint positives from them :(

I did go out and a first response test Blush

BUT I will hold out as long as possible as AF is due imminently so I might as well wait and see if that comes first :(

So who is going to test this week??

PrimalChic · 11/03/2012 19:35

Evening ladies! I've snoozed through most of the flight, can never keep my eyes open on a plane! Congratulations to Eliza on the BFP and chunky on the house and DH job!

Spent the weekend with friends who have the cutest little girl. She is 19 months old and DH and I are completely smitten! We are now talking about decorating a room for a baby, all we need is a BFP. Charting temps and CM, DTD every other day, think I'll ov tomorrow. Not much more we can do, it really should be easier than this!

Off to open what I hope is one of my last ever bottles of Wine. I'll make it a good one just in case...

MrsTwinks · 11/03/2012 20:51

Candy I will be Friday.

That is if I don't crack again tomorrow & get my bfp. off work & home all day waiting for builders so the ic in the drawer might taunt me into poas. 9dpo very unlikely i know, but not impossible!

CandyPop · 11/03/2012 21:36

mrstwinks u have to be strong 2mo and resist! As someone who has cracked .... Testing early causes my problems then it solves!!!! Resist if my can, but I'd u do, don't use sainsbury's !!! Lol I mean what sort of tests has the risk of giving fake positive Angry

bettergetamoveon · 12/03/2012 14:27

Hi everyone ((waves)). Nope, chunky, not going to CONGRATULATE you on any BFP, not at all. Well done on the 2 other nice bits of news.

mrstwinks, you know you should resist. YOu will know soon enough. This is definately pot/kettle because I don't know if I will manage to wait this month.

pah Candypop, I now hate those Sainsburys tests. How silly to get fake positives. Angry on your behalf. Let's hope evil AF does NOT arrive.

Primal, happy $hagging! (is it impolite to say that on here?!)

How goes roxy, AF or implantation? Hope the latter.

Hope the rest of you are all doing well.

My free Fertitility Friend superior thing has ended and now my nice easy to read calendar isn't easy to read anymore. I liked to know what CD I was on at a glance. Especially as I'm a girl who spots and the like. How very annoying! I'm not upgrading. I mean what would be the point with me PROBABLY getting pregnant this month. Such a waste of money that would be Grin.

I have to admit my short LP is worrying. i will need a talented and gifted zygote sperm/egg combo (ignorant biologicall,y moi?) to travel and implant in less than 8 days before AF rears ugly head. Perhaps my little Zygote will be the very youngest every member of those talented and gifted threads, achieving such fast amazing implantation. Seriously I am worried about that. On a positive note my spotting has arrived 5 days prior to AF for the last 2 months, so should be here by now. No sign yet.

Chunkychicken · 12/03/2012 15:41

Have you tried b6 better? Have heard wonderful things on various threads on here...

And thanks for the congrats and the non-congrats alike.

Day 2 since not testing & symptoms still strong... keeping all digits firmly knotted Grin

MummyNickleby · 12/03/2012 16:52

Sad AF seems to have arrived at Peppa Pig World... 2 days early Sad

Chunkychicken · 12/03/2012 16:56

Oh no MummyNickleby that's bad luck. At least you can eat vast quantities of choc, drink masses of wine & stop symptom spotting for a wee while. Oh and get yourself a sports bra!! Wink Good luck for next month :)

CandyPop · 12/03/2012 17:06

Ah I can hear AF sniffing around and trying to get through . Seriously AF cramps today :(

In fact I don't normally get that bad AF cramps but this time round I can really feel it. Maybe cause I never used to take notice of it?!

for those who had a BFP or about to Wink at chunky .... Do u still get AF cramps around when it's due?!

LimeLeafLizard · 12/03/2012 17:17

Can I join you? I've never been on a TTC thread before (despite being on MN for ages and having 3DC!), but the waiting game is stressing me out and I need company.

LimeLeafLizard TTC#4 cycle 1 AF 14th March.

Also, idiotic question I am sure, but what does AF actually stand for? I have been around long enough to realise it means your period but what is the acronym?

Pipbin · 12/03/2012 18:10

Its for Aunt Flo, she comes to stay once a month.

OP posts:
Pipbin · 12/03/2012 18:14

Still waiting for a positive OPK. Lashings of EWCM this month.
I haven't had manuka honey this month but I have been taking a vit b complex like last month when I got super amounts of EWCM.

OP posts:
Panzee · 12/03/2012 18:39

Due today, no period but neg test this afternoon. Do I still have to use FMU if I'm not testing early?

MummyNickleby · 12/03/2012 18:52

chunky I will be at M&S tomorrow Wink
Candy I had normal AF cramps leading up to my BFP with DS... I was so convinced I hadn't got pregnant that I got pissed had a drink or 2 at a party Blush

Chunkychicken · 12/03/2012 18:56

Looking good Pipbin this could be your month!! :)

Candy I've had lots of dull aches & twinges, but nothing as strong as AF cramps. Keep getting paranoid about every little twinge though, as keeping expecting the worst... although clearly nothing to expect just yet because I haven't tested Wink. May cave in tomorrow morning though. Fingers crossed for you though & will try to think of anti-AF devices!!

I am BLOATED this evening after eating junk all day - look 4mths gone!!! I have also been feeling dizzy, sick and generally knackered, but glad to have every symptom iyswim.

Hello limeleaf welcome aboard. It is stressful isn't it??!! Only a couple of days to go though... :)

Chunkychicken · 12/03/2012 18:59

Not sure Panzee but prob best to, as its most concentrated and levels don't always rise quickly in the first couple of weeks.

Mummy I was sharing a bottle of wine a night until about 5wks without realising I was pg with DD!! Enjoy the M&S goodies :)

TuesdayNightClub · 12/03/2012 19:15

Congrats on the new house chunky very exciting!

better my free fertility friend VIP thingy has run out as well, dh thought I should pay for the upgrade but I'm not keen. After all, I'm sure this is the last month I'll need it. Possibly. Maybe...

LimeLeafLizard · 12/03/2012 19:17

Aunt Flo [lightbulb]. Ah, well I'd never have worked that out, so glad I asked! Thanks!

Pipbin what do you take - any particular product or just general vit B?

Thanks Chunky. Wish I had as many symptoms as you, all I have is a temperature chart which is all over the place. I am stupid to be so hopeful in cycle #1 but can't help myself.

bettergetamoveon · 12/03/2012 20:52

oh tuesday, you shouldn't waste your money either. By this time next week we'll have our BFPs anyway and be spending our time on the 'your growing baby this week' web pages instead.

Chunky, I'm on B6 and have been for over a month. I'm hoping they're going to help. My spotting hasn't started yet so things good so far.

Hi LimeLeafLizard, hope this is your month too!

Pipbin · 12/03/2012 21:14

Limeleaf I've been taking two Sainsbury's vit b complex and one 50g B6 from Holland and Barrett.
Last month I was taking 3 of the complex only and a spoonful of Manuka honey. Last month I had indecent amounts of EWCM.

OP posts:
MummyNickleby · 12/03/2012 21:25

EWCM - what on earth is that?!!! Blush

Chunkychicken · 12/03/2012 21:28

Egg White Cervical Mucus MummyNic. Essentially the fertile stuff that helps the swimmers along...

You learn so much on these threads!!! I've only been TTC 3 months!!! :)
