Welcome aboard ladies.
Please be seated, you may undo your seatbelts as soon as you see the SWI sign light up.

I'll be coming round with cake, biscuits and wine.

Come on girls, we can do it this month.

Heads held high and legs akimbo, off we go.

Just checking in on the BFPs Grin
DH and I are trying again, AF was odd though: started 2 days early, did little more than spotting for 4 days then came with a full weeks worth of baggage... So I've no idea what day 1 of cycle really was. I'll pick 3... Day spotting started, day I was due on and the day it got heavy...
So ovulation is due next Tues, Thurs or Sat Grin
Oh DH is going to be busy Wink

Pipbin · 26/03/2012 21:54

Mummy Day 1 is the first day of full flow. The first day where you need a tampon or whatever you use. Spotting doesn't count.

I didn't test this morning after all, as my temp has dropped like a brick. Might try later in the week if by some miracle AF doesn't show up. Pretty resigned to it not being this month, but I am holding out a sliver of hope until the bitter end!

Will join santa's sleigh on a prospective basis I think!

bonzo77 · 27/03/2012 08:59

tuesday maybe your drop is an implantation dip?!

pip have you done that test yet?

My temps are still high, in fact they have made a 2nd thermal shift. is this a triphasic chart? I have been unwell though with a cold and ear infection, so this could just be a fever.

No actual sign of AF (no cramps or spotting, no headache or pms) but no preg signs either. So obviously could go either way!

MrsTwinks · 27/03/2012 09:05

Incase anyone is still curious, still all clear here. Now on day 40 of my 29 day cycle, not testing again until Wednesday but as I'm still very symptomatic DH is convinced I'm of the 1% of missed/late bfp

I am running out of distraction techniques thou, there are babies everywhere!!

bonzo77 · 27/03/2012 09:09

for mrstwinks

bonzo77 · 27/03/2012 09:47

Oh just realised I do have a pg symptom! I really don't want a coffee this morning. Unlike me. But just like when I was pg. Biscuit

LimeLeafLizard · 27/03/2012 11:53

Just visiting from the sleigh to see how you're all doing...

Twinks thanks for the update I was wondering how you were doing. When did you last test?

bonzo looking good for you, too... I took a look at your chart and it does look triphasic to me.

Tuesday sorry to hear about your temp drop... today should have been your day, really! I am hoping it is mine because I think I am OV today.

pip good luck for tomorrow!

LimeLeafLizard · 27/03/2012 11:54

PS Mummy come on the sleigh if you haven't already!

Pipbin · 27/03/2012 13:01

Well still no AF. A little bit of spotting but that's all.
My temp dropped this morning but not below my cover line.
No AF symptoms. No pg symptoms either.

If she shows tomorrow then that'll be a 13 day lp which is much better than the 10 last month.

However I have decided that this month would be not as good as next month for me.
So either result will be good.
I'm going to be strong and not test until Saturday. Maybe.

OP posts:
MrsTwinks · 27/03/2012 13:43

Used the very last test at home Saturday, do I'd be forced to wait until I could get to superdrug (tomorrow)

the worst is we were out three times over the last week with friends who are now EXTREMELY suspicious that I didn't touch a drop at all (i dont drive so normally would have done at least one day out of three) Have been asked more than once if it was because I'm pregnant. At least it wasn't exactly a lie to say no, I'm a terrible liar! Wink

MrsTwinks · 27/03/2012 13:51

Pipbin thats why this month will be the one and you know it!

Chunkychicken · 27/03/2012 16:36

I keep dropping by to see those BFP seats filling up.

Fingers crossed everyone xx

PrimalChic · 27/03/2012 16:49

Me too chunky, there are plenty of seats to fill. Looking good for both MrsT and Pipbin fingers crossed!

Used my last test this morning, it was a boots cheapie. A strong line, not as dark as the test line but getting darker with each test. So it's definitely a BFP rather than a little skinny positive! I joined a birth board, eek.

Good luck everyone! Things that we did differently this month were using a pro conception lubricant and charting my temperature...

Pipbin · 27/03/2012 17:48

Fairly sure I'm out.

Spotting has turned red now.

Sticklebricksuk · 27/03/2012 17:51

I'm glad it's looking good for some of you ladies, do keep us posted. Regarding me today is day 35. Angry I thought last month's 38 day cycle was a blip but it could be that that's my norm now seeing as I'm still getting a BFN. Bit worried about the long cycles but when I posted a specific thread about it some lovely ladies replied saying they had long / mad cycles and had lovely dc so that made me feel a lot better and I hope that the worst is that we have less chances per year rather than there being something underlying but I guess only time will tell. And you never know I could always be updiffed and it's too early to test [hopeful but not convinced emoticon] !!

LimeLeafLizard · 27/03/2012 20:26

Ah Pipbin well if it does turn out to be AF, at least you still have your cosy fur lined seat reserved on the sleigh AND next month is better for you AND your lp has increased to 13+ days... or it might just be the decidual bleeding that someone (panda?) mentioned upthread.

Stickle do you temp chart? Sounds like it might really be helpful in understanding your 'long / mad' cycles. Something to consider next month if you don't get a bfp first!

Sticklebricksuk · 27/03/2012 20:37

No lime we were taking the "chuck some sperm at an egg all month round" relaxed approach initially. But if it's not a BFP this month I've bought a bbt thermometer ready for next month so I am going to have a bash!

LimeLeafLizard · 27/03/2012 20:43

Grin Good for you for starting off relaxed... probably works as well as anything. I like charting, but then I like the illusion of being in control Until about 5 days before AF is due when I become a dithery panicker

TuesdayNightClub · 28/03/2012 21:41

Anyone got any more updates?

bonzo I'm actually almost a but hopeful that Tuesday was an implantation dip, my temp went back up a bit this morning and this evening I have a little brown spotting. I feel like its 50/50 between AF starting and it having been implantation, but tomorrow should bear the answer either with a temp rise or spotting turning into AF. In any case I'm now 12dpo only ever having made it to to 10dpo before so I'm very happy about that!

twinks any sign of AF? What about seeing the GP for a blood test?

bonzo77 · 28/03/2012 22:07

tuesday I didn't test today. I had a small dip in my chart this morning, so didn't want to get all excited. Last month I got a dip the day before AF came, then a further dip the following day when AF showed, so it seemed silly to test today. I probably won't test tomorrow either (though DH really wants me to), as if I get a BFN in the morning and AF later it will feel a bit silly. I think I will wait till Saturday which will take me to 14 DPO which was my usual LP before the mc. In fairness I have had very little in the way of PMS symptoms (which for me is a cracking headache and cramping) and some pg symptoms (loss of appetite, sensitive to smells, keep making silly errors, loads and loads of creamy CM). I also have 57/100 in the "early pregnancy signs" on the FF thingy..... Yay to your increased LP. Are you taking B6? Like I said I seem to have a very short LP since mc and it does seem to be getting longer with the B6, but it might have sorted itself out anyway. Sooo if no AF for either of us shall we POAS on saturday?

stickle I like charting. Despite using CBFM for months, it is only with charting temps and CM, and other symptoms that I am starting to understand my cycle better. It's really very interesting. The fertility friend website basically works it all out for you, and has tutorials on how to do it. All you need is a BBT thermometer. I have this one. You do need a digital one that measures to 2 decimal places.

mrstwinks could you please just POAS now for me, or at least in the morning. Pleeeeeeeease.

pip you still sure?

TuesdayNightClub · 28/03/2012 22:28

Hi bonzo yes i think that's a good plan for Saturday, as if AF is coming she'll be here by then, and if it was implantation on Tuesday it will give the hormones enough time to become detectable by HPT. Also nicer testing at the weekend I think.

I also like charting. It clues me in to what's going on much more than ov sticks alone. It helped me work out that I have the double whammy of delayed ovulation and a short luteal phase and that means I can do something about it! I have taken B6 and so far I'm really pleased that it has lengthened LP by two days this month.

Hurry up Saturday!!

MrsTwinks · 28/03/2012 22:54

I have poas today. Still bfn Sad

Starting to feel like maybe something is wrong with me. Still sick/tired/hormonal thou

Pipbin · 28/03/2012 23:15

I'm definitely out.

OP posts:
Chunkychicken · 29/03/2012 06:27

Sorry to hear that Pipbin but at least next month will be better timing wise, & less spotting.

Mrs Twinks might be worth going to your GP. They'll prob just say leave it a week & test again, but it might put your mind at rest.

Good luck Tuesday & Bonzo.
