Welcome aboard ladies.
Please be seated, you may undo your seatbelts as soon as you see the SWI sign light up.

I'll be coming round with cake, biscuits and wine.

Come on girls, we can do it this month.

Heads held high and legs akimbo, off we go.

Yes, PandaWatch, I have been having the weird vivid dreams again just like I did the first time. My boobs don't feel sore anymore or as round as they did on the weekend-seriously they felt like grapefruits--but the dream thing and sore lower back are giving me hope. Trying not to get too excited and just take it easy until the end of the tww.

Chunkychicken · 07/03/2012 19:55

Shagging With Intent Candypop and thanks. Not sure we'll be that lucky, but who knows??! Someone has to win the lottery don't they & that's longer odds...

Also do the phantom symptom thing, also had really weird dreams last night, but again could be stress related...

ok well, currently 2ww-ing, and different from normal includes; heartburn, tiredness, ache in womb region, really vivid dreams and majorly over emotional. Also been nauseous in mid-afternoon which is odd, as well as the mornings but thats normal for me

Chunky we have had an awful 16 months trying to sell are house and all the rubbish that comes with it, we took 11k less than the asking priceSad and like you we have done a lot to it. Today we have finally exchanged contracts I thought we would never get here. Hope it all goes well for you and that you are in your new house before you know it.

Well the excitement of exchanging the contracts was short lived, my dog has been unwell for a few days took him the vets tonight and they are 90% sure he is blind in one eye and the other is going I am so upsetSad. I have to take him in for tests tomorrow he just looks so sorry for himself.

AF is still hanging around so not much to report.

Chunkychicken · 07/03/2012 21:34

Seems like you've had a rubbish week Cherry, although at least you should be in your new home soon. I think 'a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush' pretty much covers my feelings about taking the offer. We have also stipulated 'sold as seen' so he can't haggle after the survey and on the market until that point to, so who knows, another offer might come along?? Hmm Either way, it gets some of the control back in our hands, although not for long, as soon enough we'll be on the other side of the offer!!

Think I must be coming down with something, feeling a bit rubbish all round :(

MummyNickleby · 07/03/2012 21:53

Can I join in on this flight ladies? TTC DC2, Last AF (what does that stand for?) was 21 days ago. Have been 'at it' every other day and am hoping we might succeed Blush

Pipbin · 07/03/2012 22:08

ok the glamourous stewardess has given me a nudge to wake up and I have put my seat in the fully reclined position because I am back in business -swi starts tonight!!! Finally approaching fertile time again in my stupidly long slow cycles.

Have been (mostly) off the booze and cut down a little on caffeine this month as well as taking B6 so fingers crossed cycle six is our time.

Re the house sales, we have been on the market for a year at the price we paid (having spent 6k on it) and eventually we moved tenants in and we rent somewhere else. Was a good move mentally but financially fairly hard going. Would bloody love an offer, any offer!!

Good luck

Chunkychicken · 08/03/2012 10:30

Tuesday its tough going whenever house selling is involved. We spent probably 15k on the house over the 6yrs we've been there, including putting new double-glazing in throughout & a hardstanding, not just decor/bathroom/kitchen, so it feels harsh to not get any of that back & make it easier for this investor to make money from it, but at least DD will go to an outstanding primary school when the time comes (if we get the house we want of course) rather than possibly going to a failing school. That's what makes it worth it.

Couldn't do the tenants thing ourselves, needed the equity, and difficult with our mortgage, but fingers crossed it'll work out! I mean, this was only our first house & we're hopefully going to get our family/forever house next, so not too bad...

Still feeling a bit dizzy at times & still have the pain in my side. Hoping I've just pulled it or something, rather than displaced pain from something nasty!! It's too high up to be ovary/ectopic related I think. Confused

bettergetamoveon · 08/03/2012 11:18

wow it's been busy around here since I was here last. Sorry to hear about your dog cherry. Tuesday you made me smile with the air steward putting seat in fully reclined position. chunky, bittersweet news on your house.

we've had a house of illness this week. A trilp to the hospital last night with my 3 yr old who now has an ear infection on top of the flu. hoping the antibiotics will avoid another burst eardrum. I myself was in bed for 8 feeling rough. right at my fertile time. Wonderful. If I get pg this month it would be a miracle.

Chunkychicken · 08/03/2012 11:28

That's tough going Better hope you feel better soon x

TuesdayNightClub · 08/03/2012 15:21

Aw that sucks better but miracles happen, keep positive!

chunky going to your forever home sounds brilliant. Once you are there and settled in you won't remember how rubbish it was to lose money on this house. It is worth it for your kids to go somewhere you are happy with as well. How days have changed from when we bought! I remember queues of couples viewing every flat!

Chunkychicken · 08/03/2012 16:35

Thanks Tuesday - when we bought you had to act fast otherwise you'd lose it too!! Never mind, it'll all be over soon hopefully Grin

CandyPop · 08/03/2012 17:44

better u never know! Miracles do happen! Meanwhile, let's hope u and bubba gets better soon :)

Ok..... So I said I wouldnt test until my AF I late BUT shall I just do it and put myself out of misery?!?! my cycles have been 35,32,29,29,31 .... I came off the pill last autumn and feel my cycle is probably adjusted to around a 29-30 cycle.

Currently in cd26 which means potentially 4 days to my calculated due date. I've had stomach cramps since Monday although today seemingly better .... Shall I just do a small little test 2mo.... Or compromise and save to Sunday which would be cd29 OR wait until following Sunday (against if AF haven't arrived by then then there is better chance of a bfp or at least a def yes or no)

What to do?!?! Just feel like my life is on hold during the 2ww!!

Cejay8 · 08/03/2012 18:19

Candypop, I've promised myself I won't test until after AF is due - that's over a week away for me. The last few cycles I've weakened and tested early, and felt really rubbish seeing the BFN so I determined to stay strong this cycle! I'm not optimistic this cycle as I got very sick last week Sad and felt even worse knowing we should have been DTD!

We didn't have any of this with DS1 as got pregnant second cycle and AF being a week late was what prompted me to test. I'd say try to wait it put - keep busy!!Grin

TuesdayNightClub · 08/03/2012 19:44

Candy I would test on Sunday at cd29 if I were you. Reasons - it is very close to the end of your cycle so whilst not late, any result you get should be fairly reliable. You might also be able to tell if AF is on her way. Secondly if you and you partner are off on Sundays you can either spend it together happily planning minicandy's life, or you can go down the pub or distract yourself from a bfn. I'm reluctant to test mon-fri as the thought of testing then having to go to work is unappealing! Good luck!

bettergetamoveon · 08/03/2012 21:36

Candy, I like Tuesdays reasoning, I'd also wait until CD29 for those reasons.
CD18 today. DH now ill too. He went to bed (the spare room) with a lemsip. Out of curiosity I did a OPK. Kind of hoping it would be negative because we dtd a couple of days ago and I could rest knowing the ship has sailed. However it was a very dark line, a great big positive. I felt even though we are both ill it would be such a shame to miss the opportunity. He says he feels used now Grin

I'm now officially in the 8 day wait. I should be due AF on 16th March. Such a short LP and a real worry Sad

CandyPop · 08/03/2012 21:46

awww i think our dhs dont mind being used in that way Grin

TuesdayNightClub · 08/03/2012 21:47

Better I did snigger at the thought of DTD, lemsip-style! Grin

I have a ten day LP so share your worries, have started 50mg of B6 this month after the advice on here, but convinced that a short LP coupled with a long cycle is just a bad combination...

Chunkychicken · 09/03/2012 10:03

So do I look green? I should be...Envy

I'm a week off POAS if AF doesn't show up in the meantime. I check my mums group FB page & another mummy has said she's just got a BFP, and her DS will be 2 in April just like my DD.

Coincidence obviously but def feel like fate is playing a trick on me!!! Will it be next week or not?!! Hmm

Do not feel pg AT ALL so feeling a bit fed up. Want to POAS just to get the BFN so I can happily wait for AF but fear I won't believe it anyway, as its prob too early (just 11dpo if I ov on the day of my peak iyswim). Arggghhhh.

MrsTwinks · 09/03/2012 10:23

so this morning I woke up feeling awful, like AF is about to come on and oh so nauseous. And I was doing so well at ignoring the 2ww... I lasted a week not thinking about it already, I thought I might make it until wednesday at least before I started counting the seconds until i can POAS

please tell me I'm not the only one testing next week already going ga-ga.

MrsTwinks · 09/03/2012 10:26

Chunky my SIL had NO symptoms with #2 at all, so much so even though they were TTC, as they had both been unwell that month etc she was shocked when AF didnt arrive, so don't rule yourself out yet!!!
