Sweetie and Cupcakes I hope you were just too early in testing and the peesticks agree with you soon.

Far enjoy your hols!

Maybe hope you are wrapped up and recovering. You too Stasi - no lifting boxes in your condition!

Sparks, Scarlett and Little - SWI has started here too - hurrah! I can stop moping and start being proactive at last!

GreenOlives · 03/03/2012 17:46

I survived the first night shift despite mammoth hangover! Just got to get through tonight too! Hope everyone else is having a nice relaxing weekend. Thanks for sorting stats thread Imps! Smile

HCG sounds great Far, please try not to worry and have a nice relaxing holiday.

BartletForAmerica · 03/03/2012 17:52

Cupcakes, feel free to write it here and one of us will add to the stats thread. At least, we only ever need to read the last post to remember what everyone is up to. Won't be long before we're off to the PSEPP stats thread, of course...

Farfalla, will do lots of brooking for you and hoping you have a lovely relaxing holiday.

Sweetie, glad to hear that AF has still stayed away.

Stasi, don't do too much. If you are on sick leave, you get to rest as well! (And don't worry about namechecking. I only do it when I have time and energy and I don't think anyone minds if anyone just posts. I certainly don't.)

Sparkle, well done about the weight loss. My BMI is on the borderline of 25, but it is still heavier than before DS, so I'm trying to nudge it downwards. I can only blame some of it on the massive pregnancy/BFing induced breasts!

and finally, before I give DS his bath, Scarlett, if you read this before the end of the weekend, get away from the computer and back to it! Wink

Have I killed the thread?! Blush

One handed posting is slow. However I thought I should make the effort. Not that I have any news... this 2ww is being possibly the most boring ever. Perhaps it will turn into a BFP after all :)

I'm designing myself a new kitchen. The one that's here (put in my the previous owners) was obviously more for show than practicality. We've lived with it for a few years, but I've got annoyed at it again. I'd love to have more storage, and a freezer I didn't have to go out in the rain to use. So, back to the Ikea catalogue for me.

Bartlet lets just hope everyone is off having a fun filled weekend.

SweetieDoesIt · 04/03/2012 19:33

bartlet don't worry you haven't broken the thread, brookers are always quieter at the weekend

Scarlett some people don't know how lucky they are. In my supermarket this weekend it must have been twin day, I am not joking there must have been at least 3 sets of different twins in. It is something I would never have noticed before TTC, now I can not help but notice other people kids or number of bumps on any giving outing. Sad I know.

AF has arrived this morning, so feel a bit down in the dumps but treated ourselves to a bottle of wine with dinner. Now brooking for a nice holibobs BFP.

Hoping everyone else is having a lovely weekend in RL.

Imps7 · 04/03/2012 19:45

Hello allll!! Ummmm Bartlet I can't believe you broke the thread...I'm telling on you... Wink

Sparks, that's a very sad tale about the poor wee mite being shouted at my her mum. I hate seeing things things like that, it makes me feel sick to my stomach.

Stasi a new kitchen, eh? Hurrah! I can't wait until we get our kitchen done - it's literally falling apart (drawer bottoms falling out, drawer fronts falling off and a couple of cupboard doors which won't close anymore Confused), the tiles are cracked, the tiles are horrible (green and mustard diamonds anyone?) and it's generally filthy. However, it's the last thing on our list to get done so it will be a couple more years before I get the kitchen of my dreams. It will be worth the wait though, like most things in life.

Sweetie I am sorry about AF. But you're booking a skiing trip now aren't you?? (sorry if I have you confused with someone else...). It's just a matter of time until you get your BFP.

Well done on surviving the shift Olives - hope it was quite and that the patients and their families were well behaved for you.

Had a lovely weekend here - friends came to visit. We had snow today too!! Massive flakes for about an hour - it didn't settle though as it had been raining all morning so was too wet. It's v chilly here tonight though - OH is setting the fire in the woodburner tonight so we can have a nice cosy night watching a film over my dead body will he be watching Top Gear.

Evening all
Hope you've had good weekends. Just popping in to say hello. Nothing to report over here, only that I am so over cabbage soup. one more day to go.

Still a few days away from ov'ing. Might have a practice tonight...

Off on a course tomorrow. Happy Monday to you all, and a good week of SWI.

Stasi & Imps I feel your pain, when we moved into our house it had been rented out for a number of years. To say it wasn't my taste is an understatement Wink

Whims does that mean there are baked goods on arrival for the brookers? Grin

This time next week I will be enjoying a beer or six in Lanzarote GrinGrinGrin

Imps7 · 04/03/2012 21:09

Ahh, Sweetie - Lanzarote isn't known for its snow so it must be someone else I know who's booking a ski trip!

Sorry Sparkle I have no idea about charting but there are several experts on here that I'm sure will be along soon. As for the rat smacking I aim for every other day in the two weeks post AF and around ovulation. I normally don't bother in the 2ww.

Sweetie sorry the bitch came visiting. Your holiday sounds lovely. A nice bit of rat smacking in the sun Grin

Stasi I'm also very Envy of your kitchen. Our house has a hideous bathroom and kitchen. We are hoping to do the bathroom soon as the sink is falling off the wall and the toilet wobbles Grin it also has a manky carpet in there that makes me want to vom.

Thanks for adding me on to the stats thread guys.

Quick update from me. It's now day 38 (cycle has been 29 days for last 6 months, previously between 29-36 days). I got my peak on CBFM 18 days ago and last dtd 17 days ago. No sign of AF, BFN this morning. I'm going crazy. I'm starting to wish AF would show up so I can get on with the next cycle. I've got no hope as I'm sure I would have got a positive by now If I was going to get one. Someone give me a slap quick!

Cupcakes there is indeed still a chance that you are duffed! Looking at Fertility Friends, I have obtained a few statistics -

11% of women who got their first BFN on 18 DPO were in fact diffed;
7% of women who got their first BFN on 17 DPO were in fact diffed;
9% etc etc etc on 16 DPO etc etc etc

And in reality, the percentages were probably much higher than that - I searched fro "first negative test", but in fact there are probably loads more where their first negative test was earlier than that but they didn't get their first BFP until 17/18/19 etc DPO.

My shagtic is pretty much the same as Cupcakes, Sparks - we SWI every other day from around CD 12 until around CD 19 (ov tends to be CD 17) and then just SFF for the rest of the cycle!

OP posts:
Imps7 · 05/03/2012 09:32

Oh, and Sparks - no need to rein in the SWI - if you want to do it every day you can! There's really no right or wrong to when to shag!

Loopyhasanotherbean · 05/03/2012 10:11

just a quick posting, cupcakes don't forget that i didn't get my BFP until what FF told me was 20dpo...so anything is possible!! if AF doesn't arrive in the next day or two, test again perhaps? which tests are you using? i was using cheap internet ones to start with, but my BFP was on a first response, which was then backed up by a clearblue digital.

fingers crossed you will be the first of a whole load of March BFP's!

Hope bean is still sticking far will they be checking your hcg levels again soon?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 05/03/2012 10:19

Morning Rat Smackers.

Sorry to hear AF arrived Sweetie I think cocktails in the sun is just what the Dr ordered.

Cup I am keeping everything crossed for you too, it's not over till it's over.

Hope you're ok Far

Sparks shag with abandon I say Wink

Imps I don't have any mustard tiles, no offence taken Smile

Stasi hope you are feeling better now.

I still can't open my eyes or talk Sad I am back in work as there are thingsd that I need to do, but am going to try and slope off when I can. I have declared the next month a 'get myself well' month. No booze, no complex carbs, and plenty of exercise. I feel like I need a week of rest to get better, but that it not going to happen. Also, my bloody temperature is playing havoc with FF. It doesn't look like I have ov'd because my temps are so high. So it will be a very ironic BFP this month Smile

Imps7 · 05/03/2012 11:06

Maybe you need a complete rest, I say. Can you and DH get away for a long weekend somewhere during your month of repair? There's nothing worse than being ill, esp when it drags on and on and on. Poor you.

Omg maybe you're still ill? Shock I think you need some serous recouperation time!

Yay froot !

Cupcakes do you temp? You may have just ovulated a bit later than usual? And I'm with loopy it's definitely not over til the fat red lady sings, you just need to find that agreeable pee-stick :o

All is well in chateau Popcorn - except I am soooo unbelievably tired that I spent much of the weekend in tears like an overtired toddler Shock Poor DH was a star and took it all in his stride
It has been leading me to wonder how the hell I'll cope with a sleepless baby, but I'm sure it'll be fine
