Hi everyone. Still lurking with my sore hand, though it's feeling a bit better today. Work have said it could be several weeks before they can get me a new keyboard and mouse! Maybe i'll just have to take some sick leave Wink

Far great news about your results. Not too long to wait till your scan.

Bean I keep reading CM as 'cervical mucus', it's not a very nice thing to call someone, but as your minder shocked you like that she maybe deserves it..

Smegs I hope you're wrong, about menopause possibilities. In fact, I declare you are wrong, and will brook no argument!

Welcome back Bartlett lovely to have you here.

Secret (or do you prefer Sparkle?) welcome, please do come join us! I love your name btw.

Will catch up more later.

I'm already bored of this 2ww. Am 3 or 5 DPO, depending which temp rise you take as ov. Chart here, my phone app says ov on CD15 and I honestly don't know which is right.

No symptoms at all, and not much optimism. I want a consultant appointment to tell me my next steps. Are the odds stacked against us too much now and we need help, or should we keep trying and hoping?

Ofc we're going to keep trying regardless, but i'd like a professional to tell me how hopeful i should be each month.

GenericDietCola · 29/02/2012 16:01

Oh Stasi it's so hard - it would be great if someone could say 'it will take you X months' - even if it was a year or two, I could cope with that, knowing that we would get there in the end! Not long til you can PIAR at least and I hope your wrists feel better soon.

Secret nice to meet you and congratulations on becoming pregnant by joining the brookers! We are almost cycle buddies as I am on cd4. I'm TTC #2, have been now for just over a year and had 2mc along the way. Already have lovely 2.5 yo DD, conceived quite easily following a mc a few months prior. This cycle will be the one though, I am sure of it!

Hello, Sparkle. Of course you are welcome (and even more so if you bring cake). Your BFP is guaranteed by being here - it is just a matter of time.

Nice to meet you too, Froot. CD83, gosh! Hope in the best sense that AF arrives soon so you can get on with things properly.

scarletfingernail · 29/02/2012 17:35

Fantastic news far, I hope you feel able to join us on the PSEPP thread soon. There's lots of us in the 3rd trimester now and we need some new sticky beans in there to keep it going.

Great to see you're back to brooking Bartlet

BeedleTheBard · 29/02/2012 17:47

Imps my DP woke up with the same symptoms this morning, do you think we're doing it all wrong and he's preggo? Grin He must have been feeling really rough because he actually went to see the doctor Shock

stasi I'm still brooking that the HSG will have worked some magic for you

So 8dpo and still sore boobs Grin

Bean so sorry to hear about your friend and then child minder also. You sound like you handled the news very well. Pat on the back you, well done my dear.

Cup any news? Where are you in your cycle? Are you PIAR anytime soon?

Whims I am also dieting, it is no fun at all, am afraid when I get my referral they will say I need to lose weight. I have been going to slimming world but have only lost half stone in a month!!Sad

Far you are AM-AZ-ING , I can understand you looking forward to the jabs too and DH comments about feeding dragon baby ? so cute

Pop Shock at the massive norks, poor you bet DH is loving it and no symptoms prior to BFP you say Hmm

Waves to Stasi hope you are ok my dear and those wrists getting better from resting them.

Welcome back to Bartlett and welcome Sparkles

Frootz you poor thing ? CD83 Shock no wonder you feel a bit down

Grin Beedle explaining about your dinner date Grin

We are off to Lazarote for holibobs, so am really excited and looking forward to the break. I was a bit sneaky moi?? as DH wanted to book for next week and I persuaded him it would be better the following week when I will be ovulatingBlush

BeedleTheBard · 29/02/2012 20:23

sweetie I'm just checking in to let you know I'm back from my dinner date! It was very nice to talk to someone else in English Grin

sparkle don't worry rat smacking is not what you think Shock it came from someone comparing trying to get pregnant with that game you have at fairs and fetes where a "rat" is dropped down a tube and you have to smack it.

Evening I've just got in from a very very long day at work. I've got my last day at work tomorrow and start my new job on Sunday. Am so tired, feel I could sleep for a year!

Far am so bloody chuffed about your results. Keep up the excellent brooking x

Bartlet so good to see you back in the saddle so to speak Grin

Hi to Frootz and Sparkle

Sorry its a bit of a selfish post but can't keep my eyes open.

I did PIAR this morning, it was a BFN Sad I don't really know how many dpo I am. I got my first peak on CBFM on the 16th. BUT my usual cycle length is 29 days. I think I'm out of the running. Surely I would have had a positive by now? Am totally confused and am now having some AF type pains.

BeedleTheBard · 01/03/2012 06:23

sweetie tiredness =pregnant nothing whatsoever to do with your long day Good luck with your new job, would it be very inconvenient to find out you're pregnant now? Another sure sign of an imminent BFP Grin

I'm also feeling very tired, I'm sure it has nothing to do with a long day yesterday, plus not sleeping very well

SweetieDoesIt · 01/03/2012 07:49

Beedle I know what you mean about having someone speaking the same language when you are living abroad. I lived in Germany for a couple of years and it was always a breath of fresh air to have someone to have a good natter with in colloquial English.

Cup sorry about the BFN, maybe it was one of those pesky faulty pee sticks. Hope you find one that works next time. And good luck for the new job all sounds very exciting.

Think AF is circling here too, had a big temp drop this morning but not started spotting yet so still brooking who am I kidding???

PopcornMouseInBoots · 01/03/2012 08:07

Sorry about the BFN cupcakes - like beedle says though, it would be most inconvenient to have gotten a BFP this month as it would have meant you were entitled to less maternity leave? Next month would be ideal, however :o

sweetie did you mean 1/2 lb? 1/2 stone in a month is loads! I always preferred Weight Watchers but only because wine was less sinful and easier to work into your points allowance Blush

PIAR is Pee In A Ramekin (so you can dip a test in it!). Not too late to start temping sparkle - most of us use www.fertilityfriend.com :)

SweetieDoesIt · 01/03/2012 09:10

Pop yes half stone, girl I go with has lost 1 stone 5 pounds in 6 weeks Shock

I have done weight watchers in the past but was always hungry. I am not drinking much now anyway so don't need points for that. You can defo eat more on slimming world, not been hungry yet anyway.

Sparkle Fertility Friend is great cos you can share your chart with the lovely ladies here and they will help if it all gets a bit confusing. It does get a bit addictive though. I am only on my second month of temping and love it.

Sweetie half a stone is brilliant in a month!! Don't feel down about that at all :)

I always PIAR Sparks (I actually have a lovely blue Typhoon one in my bathroom cupboard. OH must have noticed it but it hasn't occurred to him to ask what it's doing there). I PIAR as I get the internet cheapie dipsticks 0 the testing area is only about 1cm long and 1/2cm wide so that would take some precision aiming otherwise! It's also useful to PIAR so that if I get an odd looking result on a peestick, the wee is still there so I can test with another!

I don't reckon it's too late to crack on with the temp taking. I pay for the FF subscription - I've just signed up for the year subscription which was around £28 which I didn't think was too bad. I love temping, so I look at it as more of a hobby than a TTC aid!

Any AF news Cups??

I still have a really high temperature this morning (37deg, rathers than the usual 36.6 for this time of my cycle) and a snotty nose. Sore throat has gone happily. I do have a really weird feeling in my abdomen though - it's not in the wombly area so cannot be connected to my pregnancy, but it's not in my stomach, so not a bug. I really can't describe it - it's just odd.
