Well my body decided to be play silly buggers the past couple of months. On my first cycle TTC, no less! AF arrived today, on CD46. HARRUMPH. Har har good joke, ladybits!

But I am very delighted to see her in fact because I means my two months of confusion is over and I can now get cracking on this shiny new cycle!

Who's with me???? This is a glorious Superlux Superbus (the kind you'd see US presidential candidates rolling about in), with all de mod cons (dedicated champers fridge and shiny chrome margarita blender).

Hi all. This is just to wish you all a fond farewell & send my warmest congratulations to all those with BFPs. The very best of luck with your pregnancies.

After posting on Monday, it was really clear that it wasn't implantation bleeding & having POAS today & got a very unsurprising BFN, that's me off this bus.

I won't be getting on another - I need to keep my head on other things & relaxed about everything, as having a toddler, working as a teacher, selling our house, DH interviewing for various jobs as well as TTC is very very stressful & I can't afford to get too obsessed about the last one.

I'm really disappointed about how things have worked out, as the dates were perfect for so many reasons & I'm desperate for a newborn/sibling for my DD (although accept it can't be helped - its one of those things). Now I have to get my head around maybe not getting another BFP for likely at least another 2 months & what might happen when it does... So, without trying to sound rude, being on MN seeing everyone with their wonderful news might lead to 'that should be me' thoughts :( or even and nobody needs that!!!

Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone to have sticky beans soon, and pregnancies as easy as I had with my wonderful DD, and maybe see you on a 'baby won't sleep', 'colic' or 'TTC#3' thread in the future!!!

Thanks all - can't really take it all in yet. I don't know what to think to be honest! I'v got fingers and toes crossed everything goes well and it's a sticky bean, because DH and I are going back to NZ and Australia for a holiday in late March and it'd be so lovely to tell all our family and friends in person (rather than Skype). I plan on getting a private early scan at 8 weeks before I go... just to be sure something's in there!!

Argggh stickle I 100% feel your pain. You're experiencing what I did last cycle! I was 14 days late and about 30 quid poorer from all the tests (all resoundingly BFN) I did!! You've got the right attitude, keep busy and have a few !

Feel shattered this afternoon, but that's due to me POAS at 3.30am and then not getting back to sleep more than pregnancy....!

Oh chunky I'm sorry to hear you are stepping off the bus for a while. Everything will fall into place in the future I'm sure. TTC is a constant state of limbo though, it can be reassuring just to make a decision one way or the other.

Sorry to hear that Chunky come back when the time is right for you.

I've not kept the stick Zara. I've put it in the kitchen bin to make me stop staring at it.
Also Chunky's post is a salient reminder of the dangers of early testing.

BFP here too..! So exciting and frightening altogether..

Still no news here, no AF and the 7th BFN yesterday so had much

Primal No BFP here! Nothing yet. Maybe you can see into the future though.............

I'm really sorry you are leaving us lotus and I'm not surprised you are off mn for a few days. I would do the same - I keep getting super excited that this is our month and I know if/when AF arrives I'll be distraught.

I'm in the 2ww, think I am 6-13dpo, not quite sure, but have had cramping and af symptoms every day since Friday so I'm not too sure what's going on. Good luck to all testers!

Think we have dtd right on time this month so I am keeping my fingers tightly crossed. Although we are moving house in a few weeks and I am really starting to feel stressed about everything so it can not be helping.

Zara - I carried on running with DD until I was about 6 months pg. then I just cross-trained and swam a lot. I was supposed to be doing the London Marathon in April, but have deferred my place till next year, still don't think I'll be doing it then either!

AF arrived a day early so I'm out too. See some of you on the next bus perhaps x

My AF arrived on fri after my post :( Really disappointed as I thought this was our month and were both trying not to get too disheartened by how long ttc#1 is taking.

I'm out this month, AF got me. Late OV, spotting, then early arrival of AF. Therefore a short LP. Not good.

Moving on to the next bus with a new plan of action.

Ah ladies, this is hard work. Wishing I hadn't told my pregnant friend we were trying. Her annoying DP kept asking about it at the weekend and said "third time lucky" a lot, and trying to providing advice like he was an expert in conception. They got knocked up first go on holiday, it ain't rocket science, condescending arse!

Having a nice , always makes things seem better.

PrimalChic, I know that feels when people ask you if you're pg yet. Last time we were ttc I stupidly told a few people. On the 8th month we were at a christening and my friend asked me in front of everyone if we'd had any luck yet. I was just relieved my dh had left the table at the time because he'd have been embarassed. The 'just relax' stuff really got to me too. Bloody patronising I'm not telling anyone we're trying this time!

better the 'just relax' drives me mad. Told my pg friend that I think I ovulated 2 weeks later than normal and she told me it was because I was stressed. Stressed? Really? You know, I hadn't noticed, thanks for pointing that out.

8th BFN this morning, I should just give up and wait for AF, I think she'll come on Sunday.
