Cupcakes Hallo! Wie geht es dir?

Did you have an amazing time? I have never been to Germany, but DH loves it. Are you doing something fun on Sunday as well? Lovely to have you back Xmas Grin

possiblemaybebaby · 08/12/2011 08:09

Have I have only taken my temps the last 2 days this month Xmas Blush so am probably grasping at straws. But this is a higher temp than I had at any point last cycle. But who knows. Only AF of a festive pee stick will answer that Xmas Grin

HaveYourselfAFaithyChristmas · 08/12/2011 08:12

Xpost cuppers! Glad you had a luffly trip. Did you go to a big market?
DH was rather Angry last night about everything....but he seems a bit better this morning for a decent night's sleep Xmas Smile I guess everything will take a while to sink in a adjust to.

beangrower · 08/12/2011 08:18

Hello all. Actually I now join the chorus to Maybe TEST. You are so deffo diffed with that temp. Hurrah.

Thanks Little and Biscuits- I have over egg-whited the brooking cake a little haven't I?! I'm in a 'learning' phase so forgive me. Wish I'd read about all this 20 years ago though!

Olives - cd13 and still no Smile. How about you? Perhaps we missed it... and are obviously already diffed to the hilt. I would be most surprised to get one tomorrow but you never know. Need one soon as DP is away for a week from early Sun.

Hi munkii! Hope test results are ok.

SweetieDoesIt · 08/12/2011 08:29

Morning Ladies
Cupcakes very jealous of the Germany trip. I love the Christmas markets over there they are so Christmasy well obviously I lived in Germany for a couple of years and miss the whole way of life.

Maybe you are so updiffed, am setting the alarm nice and early for tomorrow to check in for the early morning confirmation of what we already know Xmas Wink

Am working from home today cleaning and preparing for Christmas so I will be checking in laters.

Bye for now

ScrambledSmegs · 08/12/2011 08:51

Morning all. Maybe looking forward to your confirmation tomorrow! What time do you get up in the mornings?

cupcakes Cologne sounds lovely, am very Envy. I've never been to Germany, I'd love to go.

8DPO here. My temperature plummeted today, well below the cover line. I don't seem to have any other AF symptoms, but since taking B6 supplements I haven't had any so that doesn't mean anything. Oh well. GP appointment in an hour, hopefully we'll get the ball rolling today.

GreenOlives · 08/12/2011 09:00

Morning!
Glad you had a lovely mini-break Cupcakes, have you got more birthday celebrations planned for the weekend?

No Smile for me either this morning at CD14 bean, my cycles are usually 29-31 days long so I don't think I lay until around day 15/16. This is only the second time I've ever used OPK as I get pain at ovulation so I normally just time the SWI from that. Maybe a Smile for both of us tomorrow! Great info on the EWCM helping the swimmers live longer, will the Preseed help that too?

One more sleep to go, one more sleep until Santa maybe PIACR! Xmas Grin

TTFN

GreenOlives · 08/12/2011 09:01

X-post, good luck at docs today Smegs

PopcornMouse · 08/12/2011 09:24

bean you are very lucky indeed ? DH would look at me like I was a loon if I suggested baking oranges for decoration :o

smegs snowflake fairy lights? Naaice! I love IKEA but it's hard work; well done on doing it when you're cream crackered!
How long is your luteal phase normally? Could it be an implantation dip? :)

have I agree with everyone else. You've had such a shocking time recently - you're owed some good karma (by which I mean a baaaaaybeeee :o )

Good luck at your hospital appointment Monday :)

beangrower · 08/12/2011 09:37

Good luck tonight Pop - hope GP LISTENS! You know what, DP even suggested the oranges and googled the recipe. Xmas Shock

Whimsi - sounding a bit down there. Hope you're ok. You can't help wanting another - means you love being a mummy and if you love it you're probably a good'un.

Cologne does sound lovely - glad for you Cups.

Positive thought was a winner for giving birth. Am certainly feeling that the last few months I have been inviting pity/negativity by telling the world and her dog that I'm not managing to conceive. Xmas Sad Decided to rebrand the Bean for Christmas and NY.

Olives - oh well that's quite reassuring for you. Some nice weekend SWI! Maybe I'll be smiling on cd14/15 this month for a little change, so should just fit some jiggy in before DP flies the nest. Fx anyway. I plan to make that the last OPK month - too expensive and a bit depressing somehow. I hope that temping will be a better way to listen to the old bod in terms of SFF/SWI. Your thoughts?

CupcakesAndCocktails · 08/12/2011 09:39

Hope it goes ok at the docs Smegs

I knew I would forget to say hello to a few people. Sorry Olives,Sweetie & Munkii* Blush

Munkii how are you doing? Glad to see you have smacked the rat, now you can rest for a few weeks Smile

I tried filling out the questionnaire but it wouldn't let me go to step 5 so I got a bit stuck.

The Christmas markets where amazing! They were everywhere, we went to about 6 different ones. I consumed so much bratwurst, kebabs, raclette, waffles, crepes, gluwien and beer that I will be dieting for all of 2012!

My DH must have something planned for over the weekend as I've been told not to arrange anything Smile

CupcakesAndCocktails · 08/12/2011 09:41

Oh Pop good luck for the GP appointment later x

beangrower · 08/12/2011 09:47

Btw Brookers - it's a full mOOn on Saturday. Be nice to her, get jiggy and she'll bring you a baby in 9 moons time.

SweetieDoesIt · 08/12/2011 10:06

Good luck at Drs Smegs & Popcorn hope it goes well.

Cupcakes did you go up the tower of Cologne Cathedral? All those steps if I remember correctly. Your DH is really pulling out all the stops, he is really spoiling you and so he should.

Bean full moon you say, that is a very good sign and may explain the funny cycle I seem to be having. EWCM has re-appeared this morning after showing up unexpectedly CD9 earlier this week. Xmas Hmm

CupcakesAndCocktails · 08/12/2011 10:17

Yes Sweetie we went up the tower. All 533 steps of it. My legs are killing me Grin
The view was well worth it though.

I like the full moon theory. I may try to slip in some full moon fun on Saturday night (ill sell it to DH as his last chance to sleep with a young girl in her twenties!)

Solars · 08/12/2011 10:29

*Cupcakes you're back, Yay! I did wonder where you had gone and what a lovely DH you have

Good luck with your appointments Smegs & Popcorn

Popcorn a friend of mine gave me The Secret and I am quite into all that visualisation, positive thinking, power of change stuff! (you're going to realise my kooky side now) but I've been to one of those Anthony Robbins seminars many years ago and almost every aspect of my life changed after that, so I do believe it works!

Yes Maybe what time will you be PIACR tomorrow? I need to make sure I check in early so I don't miss the action!

Bean what does the full moon signify?

PopcornMouse · 08/12/2011 10:44

Who's Antony Robins and what happened at the seminar? Do tell :)

Thanks for the luck solars cupcakes and sweetie - I'm sure it'll be unproductive fine :)

Solars · 08/12/2011 11:00

Popcorn Anthony Robbins is best described as one of those self-help guys, motivational speakers and in essence advocates that you can change any circumstance in your life by using the power within you. I've read a couple of his books but the one that sticks out is 'Awaken the Giant Within' It's stuff you already know really but just reminds you and puts it all together. I took out of the seminar the stuff that would work for me, as some of it was a bit much and he is American (hope that doesn't offend anyone Blush). He makes you believe you can achieve anything so at the end of the first day of the seminar you end up walking bare feet over hot coals!!!

ScrambledSmegs · 08/12/2011 11:09

GP was good. She was lovely, I'm down to have blood tests, have been referred to an NHS fertility clinic and she's also booked me in to see the practice women's health specialist, as she's concerned about my 'ovulation bleed' and weird cycle previously. She says I may have a cervical polyp, whatever that may be.

DH has to go to his GP (different practice) and request an SA, and then when we both get our results we'll go in and see her together.

Apparently I've been 'fast-tracked' Xmas Smile so I'm having the works! Including that weird ultrasound with the dye (what's that called again?). I knew it was worth waiting to see her, she is brilliant and I luff her.

I hope your appointment goes equally well tonight, Popcorn.

ScrambledSmegs · 08/12/2011 11:13

Solars I hate to tell you but I've walked barefoot over hot coals too. No seminar needed in my case, was just a bit drunk!

I listened to that R1 thing with yesterday too. I'm going to write a letter to the universe Xmas Blush. I'm not normally very woo, although I do have tendencies. But this is so important to me that I'm going to pull out all the stops.

Imps7 · 08/12/2011 11:17

Oooooooooooooooh an HSG Smegs???

You know what that means don't you?? CERTAIN BFP THE CYCLE AFTER!!!!!

Imps7 · 08/12/2011 11:17

Ooops, in my excitement I bolded (excellent made up word) the wrong word!

ScrambledSmegs · 08/12/2011 11:19

Thanks Imps! Xmas Grin

Solars · 08/12/2011 11:21

Smegs so glad to hear your appointment went well, Yay! Is it the HSG you are referring too? You are bound to get your bfp after that!! To be honest the hot coals thing i was a little sceptical about anyway as it was on a very cold February and we had to walk outside barefoot for half a mile so feet were frozen solid so it was a relief to walk on the coals just to warm ourselves up Xmas Confused I'd much prefer your drunken coals walk!

PopcornMouse · 08/12/2011 11:23

Yeeeeah, apparently HSGs are great for clearing out the system?? Loads of people get BFPs in the couple of months after :o
Glad it went well smegs !!

Solars hot coals, that's brave!! Did it hurt? Confused
I will jot that book down on my amazon wishlist, I think. I, too, am intending on writing a letter to the universe Blush
