Conception

When's the best time to get pregnant? Use our interactive ovulation calculator to work out when you're most fertile and most likely to conceive.

We are all jolly well going to smack the rat this month and grow a baby and we'll brook no argument. And probably eat some cake too.

Ladies....begin.

OP posts:
RealLifeIsForWimps · 23/11/2011 10:33

[sidles on]

(whispers) BFP. I couldn't wait till Saturday to test and I've got personal training tomorrow so I really needed to know so I could tell my trainer that I can no longer do his evil stomach crunches.

I am very very early (CB digital showing 1-2 wks post conception) so not getting too excited until I see my Obs in a few weeks and see the heartbeat.

Am absolutely knackered (been in bed by 8pm every night for a week) and a fair bit of cramping but no larger boobs (slightly disappointing as they've been withered by bf and I was hoping they'd come back- ah well!)

Will head over to the pregnancy thread with Generic

Sorry my time here was short, and brooking hard for all you rat smackers- the festive season is upon us. Wishing you all a Christmas BFP.

PopcornMouse · 23/11/2011 10:34

Cheers Imps and Little . I think it may be time to "hide" the statuses of some Confused

Hee hee hee @ maybe :o

Has anyone seen bean ? She was due her BFP Tuesday I think, as we were cycle buddies before mine went strange Hmm I hope she's not hiding from our ramekins!

PopcornMouse · 23/11/2011 10:34

real that's amazing news, congratulations!

Stasi · 23/11/2011 10:36

Sweetie a symptomless tww is the biggest symptom of pg! We've all had symptoms then got a BFN, so surely, logically, a symptomless tww must mean a BFP?!

I'm just trying to concentrate on getting some work done this morning. I've got an oncology appointment this afternoon, so will be missing a couple of hours of work. I'm hoping the nice doctor will also give me the actual results of my day 3/21 bloods, as it should be on their computer too. I don't think there will be anything of note at this appointment, I've already had the all clear on scans and things. Guess it's just a chat to find out how I'm doing.

Generic hope you check in before lunch and let us all know how the announcement went!

Stasi · 23/11/2011 10:37

Cross post - Real that's great news. Congratulations!

GenericDietCola · 23/11/2011 10:39

Real great news well done! BFPs on this thread have been known to come in threes, so who will be next?

DH was v pleased but a bit cautious as I expected. I gave him the pee stick (one with a cap so not too yucky!)

Munkiii · 23/11/2011 10:54

Congratulations Real lovely news!

Hope your appointment goes well Stasi will be thinking about you.

Thanks for asking after me, I am doing OK. Getting ready to get back into it.

Munkiii · 23/11/2011 10:56

Aw, I did that too Generic!

We are brooking very very hard for you, try not to worry too much. I had my first mc before having DD so I know it is a worrying time. There are some lovely antenatal support threads out there. As well as our sister thread of course.

I haven't inadvertently said the wrong thing.....

Here for hand holding, brooking and chat xxx

RealLifeIsForWimps · 23/11/2011 11:00

Thanks all. Not sure it's really hit me yet. Now just gotta work out how to cope with hosting a family Christmas (both sides) in complete sobriety Grin

SweetieDoesIt · 23/11/2011 11:10

OMG Real that is amazing news, congratulations Thanks. 2 BFP is 2 days on this thread, all the brooking has paid off, a high success rate indeed.

Generic so glad DH took the news well, it is nice that he is cautious

Good luck with your appointment Stasi

I am not sure I will be making the third BFP unfortunately Sad but will be testing Saturday if no AF, just in case. Anyone else AF due or testing soon?

whimsicalname · 23/11/2011 11:13

Ooh, you've all come back, and there's a BFP! Yay! Great news Real, well done you.

BeedleTheBard · 23/11/2011 11:19

Congratulations real Grin

So who is going to get BFP no 3 in the row? Grin sweetie is it you?

generic I was thinking about you and your cinnamon whilst making some tea earlier, so I read the ingredients of the rooibos chai and the 2nd ingredient is organic cinnamon bark Grin. I got all excited and then remembered I've been drinking it for months so I don't think it's my magic cureSad. Not that I need another magic cure because I'm here on the brooking thread so I'm already preggo Grin

Good luck with the doc stasi hope he tells you your results

BeedleTheBard · 23/11/2011 11:21

meant to add that AF is not due on Sunday or Monday

possiblemaybebaby · 23/11/2011 11:23

Real that's great news, congrats Smile

Stasi will be brooking for you later for your appointment.

Sweetie no sypmtoms=a symptom=upduffedness. Fact. I'm a scientist, so what I say goes Grin

Thanks for the buns Whim

Glad you are doing ok Munk

Imps I am impressed by your powers of seduction. And your DG. Not only can he sperminate you, but then goes on for some DIY. Now that is a man Grin

Munkiii · 23/11/2011 11:30

Just realised I missed out a word...

HOPE I haven't inadvertently said the wrong thing.

Deep sigh, I may need those biscuits back......

ScrambledSmegs · 23/11/2011 12:32

Aaaaaargh! The internet ate my post!!!!!' Angry

Right. Congratulations Real! Fantastic news, and well done on the crunch- dodging too Wink.

Imps your DH is all man, isn't he?! SWI and DIY! Envy. That's a BFP in the making if ever I saw one!

Grr. My shonky phone is playing up so sorry but I can't really read back and see how you all are. Fingers crossed your all well and a veritable slew of BFP's is in store.

The AF from hell is mostly over. I've been taking iron pills and feel almost perky today. SWI starts tomorrow (CD8) so it had better last!

possiblemaybebaby · 23/11/2011 12:35

Scrambled good to have you back. Did you go to the GP in the end?

ScrambledSmegs · 23/11/2011 12:41

Not yet maybe. I've booked an appointment but it's in 3 weeks time Shock !

possiblemaybebaby · 23/11/2011 12:44

Oh, how annoying Sad But at least the iron tablets have kicked in and you are starting to feel better Smile

Looks like we are all on for that Christmas BFP even though a certain ball of fluff makes swi v difficult Grin

scarletfingernail · 23/11/2011 12:45

Congrats Real on your BFP. Hope to meet you properly on the ante-natal thread very soon Smile

NinjaChipmunk · 23/11/2011 12:46

wow, another bfp! congrats real thats fab news.

I'm sorry I haven't had time to catch up yet as you lot move so quickly! Will try to do so as I gulp down a sandwich.

Imps7 · 23/11/2011 13:18

Yay, go real!!! Fab news about your BFP Grin. Wasn't this the month that you said you should try a bit harder?? (if I've remembered your first couple of posts correctly). Good work!

3 weeks for your appointment Scrambled?? Bloody hell, that's a long waiting list. You will of course have your BFP by then so you can use the appointment for that purpose instead.

I must confess that when I was watching helping OH put the tv cabinet together yesterday, I did for a fleeting moment imagine it to be nursery furniture. And I am delighted to confirm that the look suited him very well indeed :)

So Sweetie and Beedle for the next two BFPs then. BRING IT ON!!!!
