Hi all.

Sorry to hear af arrived beedle.

And i'm glad you've got some answers far. You have a great reason to test early now too!

Stasi lots of love & luck for tomorrow. I hope you have an amazing time & wonderful honeymoon.

I met a friends 2 week old baby this morning. He is gorgeous and it was lovely to meet him, but as they left I felt very sad. Her eldest is the same age as my dd and they looked so happy, I wish I had that too. Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with my life, my dp and dd are amazing, but, as you all know, the longing for a baby is totally uncontrollable. So, I'm just going to reinstate the original thread title for my new motto:

I am jolly well going to get pregnant this month and I'll brook no argument.

So there

GenericDietCola · 04/11/2011 13:57

Oh Little I am with you there. I feel the same longing and I know DD would love a little sibling (I think our DDs are about the same age - mine was 2 in Sept). I will join in your motto:

I am jolly well going to get pregnant this month and I'll brook no argument

TheLittleFriend · 04/11/2011 14:05

yes they are then generic, mine was 2 in Oct. And our next little ones will be as well, when they're born in 9 months Wink

PopcornMouse · 04/11/2011 14:49

Little that sounds lovely. It will happen, for all of us!

GenericDietCola · 04/11/2011 15:03

Yes they will Little!

Popcorn that is so sad. I wandered onto the thread that Farfalla mentioned a week or so ago and it was very sad. Sorry to hear about your DH having a wobble, but I'm sure this is common and hopefully he didn't actually mean you should wait.

Ooh more EWCM today, so maybe my egg will be laid earlyish and I am in with a chance this month. What am I saying? Of course I'm in with a chance I'm blooming well getting pregnant and I'm brooking no argument!

PopcornMouse · 04/11/2011 15:22

We are just both cream-crackered I think, he will change his mind again in a week (and hasn't actually mooted contraception). It was only a fortnight ago he was all "ooo Popcorn, when are we having kiddlywinks?". So I think everyone is right, he is just having a wobble :)

Solars · 04/11/2011 15:35

Yay Generic you go smack that rat good and proper!

Popcorn i've just had a peek at that thread, very Shock indeed, really can't understand it!

NinjaChipmunk · 04/11/2011 18:58

ok I haven't had time to catch up on any of todays posts but saw there was a bfp! Congrats jazzy why don't you pop over to the no brooking ante-natal thread? And the rest of you all know you're very welcome there too, you've all got your own special seats and everything. Right, I do believe its my dinner time, will try to pop on in a bit to actually catch up, just want to add, farfalla it sounds like your appointment was good and highly useful. Very glad to hear there are proper solutions for you.
Bye for now!

jazzy283 · 04/11/2011 18:59

BFP WHEN DO WE WANT THEM
NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

NinjaChipmunk · 04/11/2011 19:12

Grin I know I don't want to leave either! Tis one of the beauties of this thread, you may graduate but you don't actually have to leave....

BartletForAmerica · 04/11/2011 19:52

Woo hoo! Congratulations on the BFP, jazzy.

When you feel ready (I took about a month to make the transition across), you'd be very welcome at the antenatal thread:

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/antenatal_clubs/1321471-Rats-Successfully-Smacked-the-No-Brookers-uneventful-pregnancy-and-pain-free-birth-thread

Biscuitsandtea · 04/11/2011 19:57

I can verify that there is no problem in being on both threads! I'm 20 weeks and have never left this thread Blush

BartletForAmerica · 04/11/2011 20:23

Indeed! It is lovely to see the newer BFPs and, I figure, that I plan on doing this all again in a year or two, so why miss the banter and leave knowing that I'll only be back sometime! Smile

TheLittleFriend · 04/11/2011 20:31

Congratulations Jazzy!

Munkiii · 04/11/2011 20:37

Massive congrats Jazzy

Farfalla so pleased there was some news you could do something with iyswim from your appointment.

Still no AF here. I give up trying to work it all out. But let's be honest after 16 months to het pg the first time I am not expecting it to be a swift process this time either!

Munkiii · 04/11/2011 20:38

Oh and I love the fact the PSEPP (is that right?) people are still about!

Lovely lot that they are.

Solars · 04/11/2011 21:29

YAY Jazzy a BFP!!! Congratulations lovely Grin

ScrambledSmegs · 04/11/2011 22:41

Congratulations Jazzy! Brilliant news!

Am sooo tired Had a lovely time, scoffed lots of nice food and drink, and managed to find some lovely pressies for Christmas. And ilovegorgeous had a sale/last season stall there with mega reductions! Bought DD the cutest dress, which as soon as she saw she insisted on wearing there and then. Over her trackie bottoms Grin.

Has there been another thread with people being disappointed about having boys then? Why is this suddenly so common? As soon as I laid eyes on DD I knew without a doubt that she was the daughter I'd always wanted. But equally if I'd had a boy he would have been the son I'd always wanted. And right now all I want is a baby, don't mind what sex!

I am jolly well going to get pregnant this month and I'll brook no argument.

Thank you Little. I will keep repeating that to myself, it's a great motto.

musicalmrs · 04/11/2011 22:42

Congratulations Jazzy!!!

Also, welcome to the suspicious-AF-that-lead-to-a-BFP club. Exactly the same happened to me! I thought she'd come, but she was oddly out of character.. :D

As lovely as the antenatal thread is, there's nothing as lovely and exciting as a BFP - or as some POAS/PIAR nagging ;)

Sorry about all the recent appearances of AF. Revel in the fact it's the last time you'll see her for 9 months :)

possiblemaybebaby · 05/11/2011 07:39

Jazzy that is amazing news, well done for smacking that rat Smile

Musical lovely to see you, how are you?

Glad you ha a productive day Scrambled

Stasi wishing you a very very happy wedding day x

Biscuitsandtea · 05/11/2011 07:49
