Here we go yet again...

OP posts:
GenericDietCola · 03/11/2011 13:58

Ooh Imps what a horrible man!

Let's make banners about the positive peesticks and about the thieving fruit and veg man! We can join the people outside St Paul's.

BeedleTheBard · 03/11/2011 13:58

GrinGrinGrinGrin @ imps

ScrambledSmegs · 03/11/2011 14:01

Imps Shock What an ARSE!!!! You should tell everyone you work with about his thieving antics so they don't get robbed too.

So sorry maybe. Are you sure?

far hope results day is going well! Take care x

I made play-dough for DD this morning, and we had an incredibly fun and messy time with it. Now I'm actually covered in the stuff, and foolishly I'd coloured it with a particularly indelible type of food colouring. I look like I've got a horrific rash, people are going to be crossing the road to get away from the woman with the deadly skin disease!

BeedleTheBard · 03/11/2011 14:04

sorry she got you maybe, I'm still holding out here

I think she's being kept away by the banner making

PopcornMouse · 03/11/2011 14:10

Shock what a bleep. Like you say though, it will be his loss in the long run.

Maybe it's not over til it's over!

possiblemaybebaby · 03/11/2011 14:24

Ah, you guys!! You're the best. I am loving the protest idea. I shall supply the baked goods. And I feel some mulled wine? It is nearly Crimbo after all Wink

Imps what a dick. The fruit and veg man that is my dear, not you.

Scrambled that sounds veeeeeery messy Grin You could have fun with the contagious rash story though..... Wink

Thanks for your brooking Beedle and that goes for all you lovelies. I have no, ahem, flow to speak of, but I am very crampy, so I am sure she is around the corner

PopcornMouse · 03/11/2011 14:27

Implantation cramps! :o

CupcakesAndCocktails · 03/11/2011 14:35

Afternoon fellow rat smackers!

Munkii, Maybe and Beedle I am brooking super hard for you guys. It ain't over till it's over.

Sorry about AF Little hope you are taking it easy today.

Biscuits hopefully you've got a chilled out crumb in there. One of my nephews who is two was a bit like this. He is the most relaxed little boy ever. As long as he's fed & watered he's happy Smile

Stasi hope you had a great night & are not feeling too rough. Big day tomorrow!! Grin

Far good luck for later, lots of special brooking for you today.

I got my day 21 blood results. I seem to have ovulated as progesterone was 37 (needs to be over 30). Everything seemed ok apart from my B12 was low, I've been doing a lot of googling to stress myself out! I don't think it affects conception but can cause problems in pregnancy so will need to get that sorted.

CupcakesAndCocktails · 03/11/2011 14:41

Crap I missed a full page!

Popcorn that is awful, no wonder you DH is in a foul mood.

Imps I'm raging about that fruit & veg man. How rude. Give me the address & I'll go sort him out Wink

Hi Solars how many DPO are you?

ScrambledSmegs · 03/11/2011 14:53

Hullo! Welcome back! That's great news about having ovulated, well done you Grin

maybe Am brooking as hard as a very hard brooking thing for you.

Solars · 03/11/2011 15:10

Cupcakes I knew there was someone I missed out on mentioning earlier, and it's not that i'm getting old and my short term memory is failing me, so many posts to read & remember I did wonder where you had got to, love the name change by the way. Well done on your results & I'm sure the B12 can be easily remedied. I am 11dpo I think.

Imps Shock nasty horrid man!

Maybe you're still in with a chance if af hasn't even come yet

possiblemaybebaby · 03/11/2011 16:06

Thanks everyone, but she has hit me like a bloody bull in a china shop. I am doubled up in pain., and the only painkillers we have are paracetamol, and it isn't touching the sides. Can't get to chemist, as have pup, so have to wait for DH to get home first Sad Is there a possibility that this month it is so painful cos last month was annovulatory?

Cupcakes that is fantastic news. Surely a nice supplement can sort out the B12 situation?

Can someone please have a word with AF. She seriously needs to bugger off and leave us all alone. We are all going to have our BFPs before crimbo, you mark my words. And we can all sit not drinking alcohol whilst smugly thinking 'I smacked that rat'.

Rant over

CupcakesAndCocktails · 03/11/2011 16:14

Oh no Maybe that old witch Angry. How long before DH is home? Paracetamol is useless on it's own. Have you got a hot water bottle? or can you have a warm bath?
Eat as much chocolate/sugar as you can until you get more drugs. God I hate period pain.

Solars 11 DPO?! Any interesting symptoms to note?

I've been googling & my B12 is very low. Am gonna get to the gp's ASAP as it says you may need injections rather than tablets. I dont know why my level is so low as I eat a lot of foods rich in b12.

PopcornMouse · 03/11/2011 16:58

Oh no, maybe! Do you have ibuprofen too? You can take both together iirc. Hot bath?

Pant snot alert! But it's too early! Shock I am CD12, it usually doesnt start til CD14!

ScrambledSmegs · 03/11/2011 18:28

Oh no Maybe, that sounds awful. I don't know anything about annovulatory cycles, but I guess it's possible that's the reason it's so bad. As Cupcakes said, hot water bottle? Or a hot drink? Seems to help me slightly, if other stuff isn't available.

Cupcakes I hope you're not scaring yourself with Dr Google? Glad you're on top of things with the B12. Out of interest, what foods are rich in B12 anyway?

possiblemaybebaby · 03/11/2011 18:35

Thanks everyone. DH caught me passing out in the bath when he got in, so he got me out and sat me down with lemonade and a kitkat chunky. Not actually sure where he produced that from though! Have taken codeine and ibuprofen and paracetamol, and am now a little woozy but still a bit in pain. Really not like me to be affected like that, I have a high pain tolerance normally.

Am now in PJs with hollyaoks and a food magazine (also produced by DH) Grin

Maybe your egg is popping early Popcorn, get the and DH to the bedroom Wink

Biscuitsandtea · 03/11/2011 18:40

Maybe sorry you're having a rough time of it - that sucks!

Although I am impressed at your DH producing chocolate and magazines in demand. Is he a magician by any chance as his regular day job? HmmConfused

Hope those painkillers and the chocolate kick in soon xxxxx

beangrower · 03/11/2011 18:41

Hi all - missed lots of fun here.

In answer to Generic's questions: the hard bit was finding a decent fella - I was 2 weeks short of my 37th when I got together with the ONE. STOOPID girl that I am, we had known each other forever (school) but he either seemed too shy or involved in v problematic r/s and I wasn't got to wade in and save his skin for fear of him mistrusting me. Meanwhile I had a thing for cads-not-dads. Still we were super hugely lucky when we finally bit the bullet. The ONE moved in (back from southeast Asia where he'd been working - also another minor obstacle to overcome in our story of Lurve) and we'd been living together six weeks (can you imagine) when we got a BFP. Was a joy but a bit of a pressure. Of course now I know how madly lucky we were. DS - an absolute corker - is 21 months soon. We have never used contraception and I got the green light (reluctantly) from DP to have one more early this year. Shall we say officially 9 months TTC but unofficially there's been 21 months since I was on my knees popping a bean and I feel like I was instantly broody for the next (inhumanly so).

I'll shut up now. I've been teary all day for no good reason as there really is no reason to give up hope yet and it's not even 2ww.

Ridiculous woman. I have also told the world and his whippet that I'm dying for pg2. Big mistake. Keep trying to rein myself in.

GAH. I could kick myself.

beangrower · 03/11/2011 18:47

Oh and sorry maybe and imps - some nasty poo going down in your world; the nastiest being AF of course. Thanks goodness for Kitkat chunkies. Interesting that a couple of you are CD11/12 - good bit of karma there? x

Munkiii · 03/11/2011 19:03

Oh Maybe i hope it all eases off soon Sad

possiblemaybebaby · 03/11/2011 19:09

Thanks Biscuits, Bean and Munk I am feeling much better now Smile

Biscuits DH says he is an engineer, but maybe he is moonlighting as a wannabe Paul Daniels Grin

Bean there is no need to give up hope at all. When you say instantly broody, do you mean straight after the birth?!

beangrower · 03/11/2011 19:18

Hi maybe - love your very own Paul Daniels, he sounds a gem.

I'm afraid yes - pretty much broody from the minute DS was a bit less newborn and a bit more baby. Blush (I had a lovely birth at home, perhaps that seduced me. Just dying for one more, couldn't manage anything else. Stupid really. I should be enjoying DS and thanking my lucky stars. Somehow feel very gloomy about prospects of pg2 with really no good reason. Need to snap out of it, if you ask me. Time for a new tune.

GenericDietCola · 03/11/2011 19:39

Oh Maybe how dare she turn up and then treat you like that?! Thank the Lord for your DH with his awesome chocolate and magazine producing powers!

Cupcakes glad your test results were mostly good news and I hope you get that B12 sorted soon.

Solars ooh so you're not far off confirming your clomid induced BFP!

Bean wow! You are v lucky to realise he was THE ONE and get preggo so fast (although I'm sure that was a bit of a shock!) I can relate re broodiness soon after DC1: as soon as DD was born I was asking the midwives whether the retained placenta I had would happen again for no. 2! I enjoyed giving birth and meeting DD so much I was dying to do it again right away

CupcakesAndCocktails · 03/11/2011 19:51

Bean love the story of how you and your DH got it on!

Glad DH sorted you out Maybe

I'm afraid I have a google induced headache. I've been researching my blood results over & over. I found a random American article where lots of people think low b12 is stopping them from conceiving & they can't get a doctor to take them seriously. Now I'm imagining that is what's wrong with me and I'm driving DH up the wall.

Btw b12 is in meat, cheese and eggs which I eat a lot of. Is also in fortified cereals. I've checked my trusted cheerios box which confirms I am getting 50% of rda from that alone.

Right crazy rant over Grin

beangrower · 03/11/2011 20:03

Thanks Cupcakes - I am very lucky aren't I? So why this teariness? Also - he really is the ONE (we get on soooo well, we are mates and go on dates!) and let's face it I researched hard (gallons of crappy, pointless relationships) so I think I'm well qualified to reach this conclusion. Blush

Sounds like you could get the Vit B injections - would be good for your health generally so win-win there.

Sometimes we don't ingest our vits properly for other reasons like food intolerance (can also mean nasty PMT etc). Worth trying to cut out wheat and dairy if you can face it and see if you feel any better. Sorry - I'm a cod Doc so don't have to listen to me!

TTFN. I think I need a very early night to sort out this pointless teary mood. Never did think much of self pity and need to stop indulging.
