Here we go yet again...

OP posts:
GenericDietCola · 02/11/2011 19:45

Imps you sure sound preggo to me and I won't hear otherwise.

Stasi happy hen night!

TheLittleFriend · 02/11/2011 19:45

Have a great hen night stasi!

Thanks for digital opk / cbfm advice everyone. Still not sure whether to invest, as we usually manage to dtd every other day anyway. Might have a mooch around the bbt thermometers in boots tomorrow though.

Munkiii · 02/11/2011 19:57

Oh was it little who was concerned about no positive OPK?

I had no positive OPK ever, not one when I was TTC DD.

Just thought I would mention it, in case it helped.

In another funny mood tonight, can't shake it. Hormones?

jazzy283 · 02/11/2011 21:15

imps ohhhh yes lol
far my DH is the same as yours works long hours and does nothing but moan about my demands during the week i feel like say shut the fook up and just lay there will you lol we did it every night for my important week this month and still no joy lol

A friend of mine who is going through fertility said her FC told her and her hubby that the sperm is not the best quality if you swi every night no matter how good the sperm count for that man is and really you should be having sex every 3 days during the month for the best results so we are going to try that this month and i hope it takes some pressure off DH and his broken tools lol lol

jazzy283 · 02/11/2011 21:25

little Friend I have CBFM and found it really good seems to have my cycle bang on now i supposed its good for people who just want that extra reassurance about timing of cycle etc i have used opk and never got a smiley face or positive outcome yet always had a peak with cbfm :)

beangrower · 02/11/2011 22:02

Hello Imps nice to meet you (thanks for the pg token on arrival - I had no idea but can see it's worth every penny this thread) and admiring your way with words. 'Pant snot' in particular shall be stolen and used liberally. Grin Your sympsum (another winner) sounds terribly promising - with a gamut of body fluid types and pain involved. Deffo duffed.

Last pregnancy (2009 - got my bean DS in early '10, joy of my life... ) was really only a boob job. Was most surprised not to spot more symptoms.

Now of course - since TTC is taking a hundred million times longer - every bit of PMT = self convinced is preggers. Boo; how I loathe myself when AF then slashes the dream to shreds.

Itchy rash impressive. Much better than red inbows. Has to be progesterone-fuelled.

stasi many, may congrats. Have a BALL and may married life be fecund!

N'night all.

beangrower · 02/11/2011 22:07

Ooh - before I pop off thanks Jazzy for that info re' every three days. Kinda makes sense, specially for my old duffer who doesn't like to overdo things these days. I get SOOOO wound up by people who say "You're trying too hard," but maybe this is what they mean....

Ok - CD10 and CD13 it is this month. On CD6. Bring on the countdown.

Night again. x

ScrambledSmegs · 02/11/2011 22:40

Thanks for the sympathy. Turns out I may have been a bit hasty in blaming Sainsbo's. Two other people in my office have had the same thing, 'tis a nasty bug :(

far, I think your plan of every 2-3 days sounds good. I think I should adopt it myself - am a mid-week shag-dodger, I get so tired and it seems like so much work. Poor DH!

Hello bean! Many happy returns, I hope you're having a lovely day.

Hope you're having a great hen night, Stasi!

Imps - another upduffed one! Now, when are you going to POAS? Maybe is holding us all to ransom, pleeeeeeese tell us when you'll do it?!

How are you Munkiii? Are you a bit down again? Would you like some hand-holding it's ok I've dunked myself in Dettol?

Watching series finale of Supernatural tonight. Slightly disappointing compared with previous series, but hey-ho, it's still one of the best shows around. Dean Winchester is so on my laminated list.

BeedleTheBard · 03/11/2011 05:43

Morning all.

Impressive list of symptoms Imps :)

Well I didn't POAS this morning, I felt so periody when I woke up it seemed a waste of time, but now I feel fine!! But I'm still 99.9% sure the evil old hag will show her face today Sad

Biscuitsandtea · 03/11/2011 05:53

Morning Beedle.

When you due again? Maybe POAS tomorrow? After all, the evil witch can't possibly turn up today because you are do clearly preggers! Smile

Biscuitsandtea · 03/11/2011 05:55

And I keep meaning to say a get well soon to everyone who's been poorly Sad. Scrambled especially, let's hope that bug buggers off xxx

Imps7 · 03/11/2011 06:58

Ohhh Scrambled you poor thing! Here, have some soothing broth.

Stasi how was the hen do??? Hope you had a really lovely time!

Beedle, I can officially confirm that AF will not be turning up today - I've taken her outside and had some "words".

How are you doing Biscuits?

Biscuitsandtea · 03/11/2011 07:07

All good here thanks Imps. Bug all gone.

No baby movements yet. Hoping (?) that at my scan next week they might say I have an anterior placenta to explain it Confused.

Stasi hope the hen night was great xxx

possiblemaybebaby · 03/11/2011 07:53

Morning all!

Imps, you are so preggo. Textbook case

Stasi hope you had an amazing night!

Biscuits you must just have a nice sleepy crumb, he/she will soon be giving you sleepless nights Grin

Scrambled, how are you feeling this morning? Hope you are resting up.

Beedle I felt the same, really periody and now I don't. But I too am fairly sure today is D-day.

Bean I got so confused reading your post. I read it as you got a boob job the same time as a baby. [very very tired emoticon] Grin

Waves to Far and all other positively glowing ladies

TheLittleFriend · 03/11/2011 08:11

Morning everyone,

Sorry you're still poorly *scrambled, get well soon.

I was right, CD1 again here. Ho hum.

possiblemaybebaby · 03/11/2011 08:19

Oh Little, how are you feeling? It really sucks. We are all still brooking for you Smile

beangrower · 03/11/2011 08:54

Boo to CD1 Little - it never gets easier. Hope the hag stays away from all other Brookers.

Possible - just referring to only full-term pg I had. No symptoms other than painful boobs which I get with PMT anyway. Sorry for the shocking mixing of metaphors. I do get carried away.

Since DP saw acupuncturist yesterday am in that awful state of thinking I'm firing off all guns but DH is too knackered/stressed to get me duffed. Hate letting this kind of divide creep in. All the more reason to get some tests done so we might have a better idea. But even if we did get poor wrigglers results, I can't see DP giving up his nightly Wine and I don't blame him really... GAH.

Keep the bugs away all - very nasty ones going round.

x

BeedleTheBard · 03/11/2011 09:11

sorry about AF little

I'm still brooking that she stays away from me today - hopefully imps's words with her will do the trick Grin

Bean I also worry that my DP is pickling his sperm with wine every night, I'm hoping that the wellman vitamins will do enough to counteract the effect of wine. And if not, when we finally get some tests he might listen to a doctor telling him to cut down rather than me just nagging

BeedleTheBard · 03/11/2011 09:19

oh and maybe hope the evil witch stays away from you as well today, if not we can both beat her over the head with a big stick so that she gets the message Grin

GenericDietCola · 03/11/2011 09:35

Good luck Beedle and Maybe I'm sure Imps' scary talk will ensure that AF steers well clear of you both.

Little so sorry, but was that a 22 day cycle? I think that was my cycle length when I conceived DD, and it;s definitely an improvement on 14 days. Hopefully this is a sign that the acupuncture etc is doing something.

Hope the poorly ones feel better soon.

PopcornMouse · 03/11/2011 09:50

bean I don't think a single glass per night is that much but I am a total wino isn't one glass supposed to be detoxifying or something?

Imps Updiffed!! 100%.
A bit upset by your comment that your boobs are more painful now, as the last two cycles I have been in reach-for-the-hottie-bottie agony with boob pain during my 2ww, and I was planning on cutting down my alcohol intake Confused

Biscuits so sorry you're still poorly :(

maybe I'm so sorry, it really doesn't get any easier, does it?

DH is off work today (shift worker) and is in a foul mood, today's going to be deeeeeeelightful Hmm

jazzy283 · 03/11/2011 10:08

pop sorry bout DH lol mine is always grumpy these days but we are off on hols on 26th so he fx will chill lol, im also a wine drinker need to deffo cutdown lol lol

imps when you testing to confirm your preggers ;)

PopcornMouse · 03/11/2011 10:15

In his defense, work has c*cked up his pay by £500 so we are skint.

jazzy CD1 is the first day of proper flow, not spotting - hth :)

ScrambledSmegs · 03/11/2011 10:32

Morning! Beedle and maybe am brooking no argument that AF is staying away! Imps is sure to have scared her away with her little chat...

Popcorn no wonder your DH is grumpy! That's awful, are they going to sort it our soon?

Little sorry to hear she got you. Damn that uninvited guest.

Stasi how are you feeling? Should we all whisper? Grin

Feeling better now thanks. Am most put out that I'm catching every bug going at the moment. Although can't help feeling slightly pleased that I've lost a bit of weight Hmm.

Munkiii · 03/11/2011 10:36

Boo to AF, so sorry she got you little'

Brooking hard for maybe and beedle

Hope poorly brookers feel better soon.

I feel all cross and achy today, so am guessing it is all ove in the Munkiii House too.

Bugger.
