Hey guys!! Have taken the big step of coming of the Pill to TTC another DC. This will be DC number 2 - already have DS who is 15 months old and a DSD who is 7 years. We have spoken about another baby for a while now but it has now become more of a reality now that we have decided to stop using any contraception!! I am so so excited but know all too well about this horrible waiting game of patience which seems to get worse even after a BFP as then it's the painful wait for a 12 week scan!! (although this time I may pay for a private scan) I have had a MC before DS was born so am also aware of not getting to ahead of myself...but I'm so excited nonetheless!! I bought my friend a little present for her brand new (with tags on) baby girl and was so so broody. Cant wait for my turn now!!

Sorry for the long warbling post. This is such a hard time, the pre TTC, the waiting for BFP or BFN etc etc...I am the most impatient person in the world as it is...and to not to be able to tell anyone in RL makes it even harder!!

Hope there will be some ladies in the same boat as me!! Look forward to meeting u and sharing journeys!!

Lots of love, Pip xx

Well, just got faintest line of all 3 on the one I've been using the most so guess ovulation is over and done with - figures after buying 30+ tests! Angry

wannabemum24 · 27/10/2011 14:25

HA HA HA @ Cauldron Morning swi eh? Wink

Fish, my brother in law smokes like a trooper and both times my sister got pg it happened first try!! Quite unbelievable! (Apparently the last time they doinked was when she fell pg with #2 whois now 8mnths...not v healthy for their marriage in my opinion. Not Sorry to be so honest!)

Vino, what was it like having a coil? Could you feel it? Big of a gross story, but my mum told me that before me, she has a coil and it was to long. She said that whenever her and my dad would 'do it', the end of his manhood would get really sore and started bleeding because it rubbed. After I recovered from the horrific story, I decided I would go for the pill rather than the coil!!!

Fishpants · 27/10/2011 14:35

Can we have some sort of lost do you think - of our age, when AF is due, approx ovulation date, whether we are SWI or on the 2ww etc? Like cauldron I'm finding it a bit hard to keep track. I'd like to know when everyone can test Grin

wannabemum24 · 27/10/2011 14:37

Good idea! What is 2ww?

Fishpants · 27/10/2011 14:37

Oh and I'm not a total lazy bum, I'll do the list if we all think it's a good idea - just on my phone at work for the next few hours so can do it when home. Wasn't suggesting someone else do the hard work!

I've just had a revelation - maybe these strange gas pains (tmi!!) and abdominal cramps/fizziness have been from the prenatal pills I've been taking the past week?? I've never taken so much as a multivitamin or extra vit-c so maybe my body is adjusting? What do we think?

wannabemum24 · 27/10/2011 14:39

wannabemum24 - 24 (and a half Wink) - OV roughly 10.11.11 - AF roughly 27.10.11 - SWI

wannabemum24 · 27/10/2011 14:40

Fish is what I just posted the kind of info you were after? If so, copy and past it and add yours x

Theoretically, Sparkle! I only came off my pill on Sunday (was on it for only 8 days before that when DH said he was ready I came off straight away!)! No withdrawal bleed yet so am thinking it might not happen as I had one 2 weeks ago (ish)...will probs have to wait until normal AF comes then cound CDs after that...

Clandy · 27/10/2011 15:37

Oh I'm really glad to see some ttcers that are same age as me I have just turned 24 and everyone seems to be in their 30's which isn't a problem just nice to know I'm not the only one ttc 'so young' iyswim. Have nothing to add to list as af was due 4 weeks ago so no clue what is going on Smile

This thread moves so fast I can hardly keep up Grin

CauldronOfBrownJoy · 27/10/2011 15:45

God I'm an old git!!

CauldronOfBrownJoy · 27/10/2011 15:49

I'm also waiting until next cycle to be totally exact about days, as this is cycle 1 after coming off the pill.

DP is so funny, he's now asking me each day what the new gossip on the thread is... (he's particularly interested in fish's AI Blush)

Its also making me laugh how clueless inexperienced everyone is (in a nice way!), ie someone asks something complicated and lots of people, me included, cluck around saying ooooh I don't knowwww!!! Grin

Clandy · 27/10/2011 15:58

Not old at all.... You are only as old as you feel (or act Grin)

After being told all through teenage life that if you look at a man you will immediately become up the duff it's surprising how complicated it can all be eh!!

wannabemum24 · 27/10/2011 16:08

Cauldron We are all fairly close :)

Hi Clandy! Nice to meet another 24yr old...so sick of people telling me that I'm too young! Just want to tell them to eff off and mind their own business glare at them. We have been adding each other on FB if you are interested? Just nice to put faces and names to nick names!! If you are interested them PM us :) Hey, if AF was due 4 weeks ago...could you be updiffed??????

BTW, what does iyswim mean?

CauldronOfBrownJoy · 27/10/2011 16:16

it means "if you see what I mean"...

Vinolover · 27/10/2011 16:16

Secret Sparkle (26) CD 13, OD 27/10, AF 11/11
wannabemum24 (24) CD 17, OD 24/10 (ish), AF 07/11

Vinolover (29) CD 10, OD 22/10, AF 06/11

Going by this I am in the 2ww. Time for a rest until nest month ;)
This is my first cycle since coil removal so it could all change. My OD is when I got a + on my OPK so it could have been monday or even tues.

Prenatal vitamins always made me gassy! I don't take iron very well and they have it in them.
Im taking seven seas B vitamin complex (approved today by gp), which has folic acid in them and im also taking zinc, so far it's agreeing with me which in itself is amazing!

The coil was fine wannabe. My first one was fitted wrong and I had to be put under last year to have it removed and replaced (gynae had a good look with a camera up there whilst he was at it, so thats good). This one was fine and DH couldn't feel it. Your poor dad, lol.

Vinolover · 27/10/2011 16:18

BTW, for the 24 year olds... You really are not too young! My 2nd was 2 by then Blush

CauldronOfBrownJoy · 27/10/2011 16:18

I'm also in the 2ww - I'm actually quite glad that the pressure's off a little bit!

I had a coil fitted and it was awful. For 3 weeks I bled like mad and felt like I was in labour... eventually the gp took it out Sad
