cherry I am going with the EOD method this cycle (cycle 3 of TTC#2) but thinking that if no joy this time round I might get a CBFM which will indeed increase my obsessive behaivour! But I have really long cycles and not sure when ov occurs in them to be honest so hoping it would help me figure that out. First two cycles we just SWI'd a lot around the time the ov calculator on here suggested was a good time and no luck [hconfused]

Maisie55 · 21/10/2011 19:59

behaviour!!

blonderedhead · 21/10/2011 21:34

Horrible crampy sicky bloaty day today. Expecting AF any moment now. Spect she will probably hang on for a couple of days though just to give me some false hope. Anyway as soon as she shows up can book blood tests so at least that's something...

heroinahalfshell · 21/10/2011 22:37

Well AF expected tomorrow. Only DTD once this once this month (moved house right over ov!!!) and that was three days before ov due so not expecting much....

nearlymumofone · 22/10/2011 08:54

Me too expecting AF any day now (prob wed). I think a few of us are due af this week. Someone's got to get lucky though. remember it could be you!!

Notinmykitchen · 22/10/2011 09:21

Good morning all, I'm another one expecting AF this week, looks like it will be an interesting week on here, surely some of us will be lucky!! No real symptoms to report here, just slightly sore boobs, which I get every month.

BoogiesBunny · 22/10/2011 09:58

Morning everyone - I'm testing 27th-31st so i'll be joining you at the end of the week. After quite a few months though testing has lost its sheen as I prefer the hope!

Anyway, something weird did happen last night. I woke up at 12:45 (having gone to bed at 11:30 - I'm a loser on Friday nights and can never stay awake!) feeling really, really sick. I lay there for a while, not getting any better, then went to sit in the bathroom just in case. After a while in there I felt a bit better and went in to tell DH I wasn't well as he always makes me feel better. When I got back to the bedroom I started to cry and then it just came - I only JUST made it back to the bathroom and was very, very sick. Once I'd tidied up and washed I felt just fine - and I feel fine now.

It is weird because I have only been sick once since I was a teenager - and that was my hen night and was definately due to getting very, very drunk!

I had eaten at 7:30pm and had 1.5 glasses of wine - I suppose something could have disagreed with me. I am just hoping and hoping that it is a symptom at last but also trying hard to think something else could have caused it. Maybe you ladies, who've been there before, can shed some light??

BoogiesBunny · 22/10/2011 10:00

Also, just a note, DH feels fine but that doesn't mean some part of the meal wasn't right and I was the lucky one who got it.

Rusulka · 22/10/2011 10:36

Hi all.

Sorry been AWOL for a while, but work and home have been mad.
Feeling epically sorry for myself as we have hit my fertile days, and although we've managed sex about 4 times, DH hasn't managed to ahem, finish. In any of them. Think I just ov'd so really narked now.

If by some minor miracle we have managed it this month, that really would be an immaculate conception! Or a pre-come baby.

Sigh.

Hope everyone else is having better luck.

I too have been trying to behave myself on the food front- lost 12lb in the last 5 weeks or so, so quite chuffed. I may even reach my wii fit goal in time for Christmas. Maybe then it'll stop chastising me!

GTR2882 · 22/10/2011 11:00

Oh Rusulka that truly sucks - maybe it's the pressure of TTC?!? Sometimes we get so obsessed self absorbed with what's happening with our own bodies and emotions that we may forget that there is another person involved in this equation and that the stress of TTC also affects them!! Damn this TTC malarkey!! Oooh do tell me more on your weightloss success - what is your secret?? I Have Wii Fit too, I should maybe actually use it though!!! I would love to lose 12lbs in 5 weeks that would make me really happy [hgrin]

For all those awaiting AF, I really hope she is a no show! me, on the other hand, would welcome a visit from her; CD 71 here not impressed at all!!

Boogies that is weird - I do not want to get your hopes up or dash them (maybe I should say nothing [hhmm]) but I have had something similar to that, really random but still BFN (although I was never actually sick, so it could be a really good sign; remember, morning sickness can attack at any time (think they should change it to pg sickness, if that's the case)

Didn't manage to get any SWI over the last couple of days - it's been the week of hell at work and I am having to work over the weekend as well, but will definitely be calling DH into action (with the help of pre-seed [hgrin]) today!!

Hope everyone has a lovely day, will call in every few minutes later to see how we are fairing!!!

festiemum · 22/10/2011 15:02

Hi Rusulka, just wanted to add my commiserations as that has happened to me, both with XP when we were trying to conceive our DC and with DH this time. I think they do feel the pressure, and I really try to appreciate that and be understanding, but sometimes it is so hard and I fail and become a mardy cow!!!

See lots of AF on the way - hope she doesn't turn up ladies! I am desperate for my AF to f-off now so we can get in some purely recreational SWOI - the kids are at their Dad's till weds!!! Wink Blush :o

BustAMove · 22/10/2011 15:21

Hi everyone. Back from holidays yesterday, and lots of catching up to do! Hello to all new passengers. Can't believe you're still waiting GTR, and commiserations to all who've been got by AF, but roll on next month. I think I ovd a few fridays ago, which would make me due this friday, but AF not strictly due according to my last period until the following Sunday, so 8 days to go.

Am ss like mad. Sore boobs, but not unusual for me after oving anyway! Plus am feeling queezy, but had all these symptoms last month, and then a chemical, so not getting my hopes up! Hope saturday is good to you all, v quiet day for us with a sick DS. Major projectile vomiting last night!

Deafworm · 22/10/2011 18:41

Oh gtr I've been there I have pcos and with every child my cycle has improved, finally after 3 kids I have a 35 day cycle! Hope at or a BFF happens soon, I know that feeling of wishing anything would happen just to stop you wondering.

Having ov symptoms today and yesterday but by my cycle shouldn't ov till next week so a little confused. Tempted to try ov tests but really don't want to get neurotic about it with 5 years of ttc under my belt for the first 2 kids I'm well aware how consuming it can easily become! On that score a telling off please ladies, I got distracted by a thread in Aibu and found myself looking online at prams etc, must step away!

princessesmummy · 22/10/2011 19:47

hi all and welcome new people.
I'm ttc #2 so I should now what symptoms to look for. I m due to test about Wednesday I think. but up until today Havnt really had any symptoms. but today felt sick all day hot and really tierd. does anyone with 2 plus dc know if symptoms can differ with each pregnancy?

princessesmummy · 22/10/2011 19:49

sorry about grammer stupid phone changes everything after I've typed it.

Deafworm · 22/10/2011 19:53

Yes princess they can, I was convinced I was pregnant last month when we weren't officially trying and ad appeared 2 days early with no signs.

Notinmykitchen · 22/10/2011 20:01

princessesmummy, I am also TTC #2, and have wondered if the symptoms would be the same second time round so I hope someone can answer that!

Hope the SWI is going well GTR

Bustamove, projectile vomiting does not sound good, hope your DS is better soon!

I had an embarrassing moment today, somehow all the apps I have put on my i phone seem to have gone onto DH's. He asked me today why he now has a fertilityfriend app on his phone. I have tried not to let on quite how obsessed I've been getting, guess he knows now! [hblush]

princessesmummy · 22/10/2011 20:27

poor bustas ds hope he feels better soon.
starting to think I becoming obsessed with ss. or just got a bug coming ! yuck of to bed for me then .

DeeLite · 23/10/2011 20:13

I have just realised that I've listed my AF date as 23rd October whereas she's actually due tomorrow.

My cycle is pretty clockwork since coming off Cerazette six months ago so tomorrow really is the moment of truth. I'm feeling pretty pessimistic though. I had been SS very eagerly last week and was quite certain that this was my month but the alleged symptoms have all disappeared. In fact, I went out last night and had one glass of champagne, two glasses of wine and a pint of Guinness. Very naughty but I feel pretty sure the old hag is on her way. It was a fun night anyhow and had a lovely relaxing Sunday today - went back to bed for DS's morning nap and then for a big walk in the woods and hearty beef stew for dinner. Mmmm.

Anyway, will update you all tomorrow. Fingers crossed for good news. I reckon there are some others POAS around now - good luck to you all.

Deafworm · 23/10/2011 20:48

Fingers crossed for you deelite

blonderedhead · 23/10/2011 21:07

Hey DeeLite, I also threw caution to the wind last night and had two cigarettes and a whisky, I was so convinced AF would be here by morning as I was so crampy but still no sign. I didn't even smoke much before I started ttc but it has been such a rubbish week. Anyway of course now I am torn between getting my hopes up and hoping I'm not pg so I don't have to feel too guilty! I am starting to think my cycles are more irregular than I originally believed and the three 30 day cycles when I started tracking were a fluke. Last month was 35 days and now on cd36 of this month. Could be stress I guess. Really doubt I am pg. Aaaaargh. Poas on thurs and bfn, might try again tomorrow but bet the hag will have got me by then. If she does then at least I don't have to feel guilty about the nicotine, plus I can book myself in for my day 23 blood test as arranged by lovely doc.

Hope any other poas-ers have some luck this week... And a nice big fat undeniable stripe on their sticks.

DeeLite · 23/10/2011 21:20

Thanks Deafworm Smile.

Fingers crossed for you blonderedhead. Crampy with no AF sounds good. Hopefully we shall both be back with some good news very soon.

Fishpants · 23/10/2011 22:04

Hello! I'm on a couple of buses I think - but would like to join this one too Smile

I'm 24, TTC #1 as a single mother - this is Cycle 1 and I'm on Day 14. Using a good friend as a donor, although using an at-home kit rather than SWI. Up until 3 months ago my cycles were regular as clockwork, 30 days on the dot, almost down to the hour. Of course, since I've been officially charting for the last 3 months they've gone crazy and varied between 32-37 days.

I've been using Clearblue OPK's since Day 10, so I'm on Day 5 and so far they've all been negative wastes Sad I bought some more today but they are supermarket brand cheapies as wasn't about to waste more $$ on sticks I pee on. Grin Even though they've been neg so far, I think I'm going to O between Tues-Fri this week, so I'm planning to meet up with donor tomorrow and then again once I get a positive on the test.

GTR2882 · 23/10/2011 22:07

Deelite, how long were you on Cerazette for? I came off in June 2010 and my cycles have never been the same since (only had my first AF this May and they have been intermittent ever since!!)

blonderedhead · 23/10/2011 22:34

I'll keep my fingers xed for you Dee; and all the best Fish with your endeavours. Must be even trickier to co-ordinate than SWI.
