hiya anyone around before i go to bed?
damn this thread!! cant keep off it, we are all same arent we?
our "computer room" is our smallest bedroom, and right next to ours, its so handy just to pop in after doing your teeth and having a wash, to call in to turn everything off and just have a sneak on m/n just to see if anythings been said whilst youve been gone. Please tell me i am not the only saddo who does this! dh watching "The Professionals" on tv. Susie (middle-cat, beautiful but does have middle child syndrome!) is sitting with me for a cuddle

mumswish · 24/01/2006 09:14

Morning Ladies,

Am currently in the processing of shi**g myself to death. lol. Got interview at 10am and I'm so panicky. It's really bad.

What you all upto? Hope you're all ok.

wannaBe1974 · 24/01/2006 09:45

good morning all, hope you're all ok - good luck with interview mumswish, I'm sure it'll go ok. Pussycat hope you're feeling better today - didn't make it on to computer much yesterday which is why I didn't post.

Have just been making jelly - DS came home from pre school yesterday and said they'd made jelly and he wanted to make some! so we bought some at the shop but it didn't set. so I quickly went and bought some more after dropping him at nursery and have made it - with some luck it'll be set by time he comes home. Just kept telling him it'll be set soon - he doesn't know it was a disaster, lol.

mumswish · 24/01/2006 09:48

Aww bless,

You're making me hugnry (for jelly anyway).

What else you got planned for today then?

wannaBe1974 · 24/01/2006 09:56

nothing planned really, just housework while DS is at nursery.

I think we should start thinking about starting the feb thread as this one now takes ages to load.

mumswish · 24/01/2006 09:58

We should start a new one but we're still waiting for northerner.

Anyway must run. Gotta go interview. Speak to you later! Have fun

quick hijack alert ladies

sorry hijack over

MrsWood · 24/01/2006 12:10

OK, need help...

Felt really sick for couple of days now. AF was here on 11th so thought pg test couldn't pick anything up but as I have one of those savers 99p jobbies, decided to take it anyway...

Results: white faint line, and then a strong purple line - looking at the sheet it means I'm pg, however, the first line disappeared quite quickly and as it's white I can barely see it now - does that mean it's too early to be stronger and I'm pg or does it mean a big fat NO.

Anyone? Don't wanna tell anything to dh as yet as I might be wrong...

Also, we "did the deed" last night - could it be because of "fluids" that the lines were there or...?

VeniVidiVickiQV · 24/01/2006 12:14

Seems like a strong positive but do another test - the clearblue digital are the most straightforward.

FirstNikki · 24/01/2006 12:36

sorry to but in ladies, but noticed the last post re clear blue digital..boots do their own digital tests which are exactly the same as clearblue just with boots on it you get 2 in a pack for 11.99

Hope you get your bfp's soon

MrsWood · 24/01/2006 12:49

Thanks. Off to BOOTS this afternoon

wuzzlefraggle · 24/01/2006 12:53

Pepperpots, im from the vallys in gwent too!! small world eh?
Mrswoods, i agree with Veni, try another test and see what that comes up with. fingers crossed for you!!
Mumswish, well done on the interview. HAH! they are asking you how much you want to get paid? GREAT STUFF lol
hope that every1 else is ok and bding themselves silly

mumswish · 24/01/2006 13:20

Hi wuzzle.

Dont want the job now. They're giving the impression that the most they'll pay is £13500 well I'm on £11500 now and that extra £2000 onlyjust covers fuel for travelling.

Am looking for new job on the net at the mo

wuzzlefraggle · 24/01/2006 13:26

i dont blame you then mumswish. were there many other people going to be interviewed for it?
i dont get that, they told u that they would only pay 2grand extra, yet asked you what salary you wanted....that doesnt make much sense, or is it my brain drain??

mumswish · 24/01/2006 13:32

Wuzzle, they sent me to work out how much it would cost for all the driving (using my own car) so I added it up to being that a reasonable wage should be £14500 but they wont pay near that. So I dont want it. They're just skin flints. Apparently the supervisors dont get much more than that!!

Am looking for new job at the mo.

What you been upto?

wuzzlefraggle · 24/01/2006 13:37

yeah, u keep looking for whats right for you then mumswish. sorry i didnt get back on yesterday btw, dps sister(and her dp) didnt actually go home untill half ten in the night lol.
not been up 2 a great deal at the mo really...bding, of corse and looking for possible holiday destinations/hotels etc.
what about you???

mumswish · 24/01/2006 13:40

Well, I'm getting fed-up of AF (hurry up and GO!!)

Looking for new jobs and wingeing about everything to DH who is being a star and putting up with it. bless him
