That sounds yummy Wannabe I?m back because we got to Sainsbury?s and it was mad as there is a football match on at Selhurst Park which is right next door.
I had to get home quick as naughty footie fans park on my road !! And I would have returned to a road choc a block full of cars and nowhere for me to park.
(How sad am I? LOL)
I think pretty much the same about the tests wannabe. That you would probably end up going to your doctor anyway
I would like to know how fertile I am but I also know £80 could be spent better elsewhere.

Hi all. I haven't been around for a few days as have been feeling a bit yucky and am also having a bit of a personal crisis re ttc so trying not to think about it too much. It somehow feel too real to be discussing it ifswim?
this is how i feel

Hope you're all ok

peachygirl · 20/01/2006 18:15

northerner · 20/01/2006 20:52

Hi guys I'm here but just a fleeting visit! Have my 6 yr old nephew and 3 year old neice staying so had 3 kids to sort toninght and I've just got them all tucked up!

Hayls - I know what you mean about this thread making it all so real when TTC. I am very concious of not letting it take over my life, and it's only month 2 for me, but it's so difficult to not think about it.

pussycatmomma · 20/01/2006 20:58

hi all......
gosh i do seem to have missed alot.
How is everyone?
hiya trace, northy and peachy, and to everyone else as well! hope seascout lady gets lucky soon, and also other lady who is due af soon, sorry cant remember name, thread is long now!
i have a quick question for all you experts.....
do you reckon that having a bath after bd has a detrimental affect on your chances of concieving?
not straight away, i am doing the lieing still with my legs up for over half an hour...... sounds daft but im just wondering?
does it somehow kill the little swimmers or wash them away? also when you go to the loo after, even if it is over an hour after, and "stuff" comes out , does that mean youve lost most of good stuff and it was a waste of effort? sorry to sound so thick and sorry if tmi gosh sound like a right teenager but just wondering!

trace2 · 20/01/2006 20:58

hi northy how you feeling?/ yes i does its took over my life

pussycatmomma · 20/01/2006 21:00

northy - sorry about test sweetie, but i think tis too early, i think trace is right about this one,,,,,,it aint over till the fat lady sings, chin up hun

trace2 · 20/01/2006 21:01

hi pussycat, they say that you on top stops the little swimmers is harder for them, also lay still for a leat 10mins befor you go to loo

pussycatmomma · 20/01/2006 21:06

hiya trace
thing is i normally do do the lieing still bit.......
example tonight, after bd fell asleep for over an hour (bliss!), BUT then when got up to loo, lots of stuff came out too, then had bath, is over an hour long enough?
that is good thing about doing it at night b4 sleep, good 8 hours to get to the destination !!

trace2 · 20/01/2006 21:08

yes its fine some always come away, your lucky we have to be very quick and quiet, and still get no sleep, lol

pussycatmomma · 20/01/2006 21:11

would you say its alright then hun?
ive really got to stop thinking about this in as much detail!!
hows your bd going so far tra?

trace2 · 20/01/2006 21:15

yes no worries, not done any at all, am not goint to unless i fancy it too

pussycatmomma · 20/01/2006 21:16

are you fed up trying all time hun

trace2 · 20/01/2006 21:19

yes its been to long, soif we decide to do bding we will, but been doing ovulating sticks and they say am not ovulating, going to gp on monday, see if this time he will help if not just dont know what to do.

wannaBe1974 · 20/01/2006 21:19

Hiya all .. pussycat i read somewhere that as long as you lay still for 20 minutes after BD that is sufficient. any more does no good as any sperm still in the vagina at that time will have been killed by vaginal acid.. sorry iF TMI.

pussycatmomma · 20/01/2006 21:21

no thats helpful wannabe, cheers for that hun.
sorry to hear about ovu sticks trace, but sometimes just not a good enough indicator as may be using at wrong time in cycle? see your gp sweetie, but dont give up hope. dont see why you would no longer be ovulating if you have managed 3 children already? or am i being thick?

wannaBe1974 · 20/01/2006 21:22

I know what you're saying trace, I think that BD can take over your life, and it can become too much of a chore if you're just doing it to get PG.

Well my AF lasted a good ... um ... just over a day and I've now stopped bleeding. bloody annoying that.

trace2 · 20/01/2006 21:25

what, is it an implatation bleed/?

wannaBe1974 · 20/01/2006 21:26

Don't really think so as did bleed quite heavily. having said that a similar thing happened when I got PG with DS but am definitely not getting hopes up.

trace2 · 20/01/2006 21:27

mmmmmmmmmm, qwe will keep out finger crossed for you

wannaBe1974 · 20/01/2006 21:36

If I'm honest I did wonder if I'd been pregnant and the bleeding was m/c, considering I was so late and all. But I don't want to over annalise these things - after all I'll never know so it's not really worth thinking like that about something you don't know if it's even the case.

trace2 · 20/01/2006 21:39

give it a week and see what happens
