Now also, in honour of the Rugby World Cup, we can also take our pick of the strapping, fine-thighed walking sperm banks who will be on display in New Zealand soon. I vote myself to be the tournament's physio and also we can judiciously place a few eager volunteers into the Pit for Gloom purposes. They are so incredibly tough that they are not likely to go the way of Daniel, Cap'n Jack and Mitchell.

Roll up, roll up....baggsy the first go on Jonny Wilkinson.

Been ttc seriously for two years. Fertility tests on both of us normal. Unexplained infertility. Miscarriage in march at 8.5 weeks. ERPC followed. Cycles back to normal, until recently. This downward trend of cycle length has me worried though. All manner of supplements recommended here. Can't possibly take that many! We'd rather adopt than go down the IVF route. Giving ourselves another couple of years first though.
Where are you at?

kat2504 · 07/09/2011 18:22

Early days of third pregnancy following two missed miscarriages one in April, one last July. 9 week "reassurance" scan tomorrow morning which had better bloody well be reassuring this time. Feels like a ticking timebomb to yet another disappointment at the moment.

WishingIWasLucky · 07/09/2011 18:30

So sorry for your losses. Hope you are worrying for no reason this time. Know exactly where you are coming from though. Try and take it one day at a time. Do something for yourself every day, whether it be taking a leisurely bath, painting your nails to your favourite music, or catching that film you really wanted to see. Try to relax. I know it sounds a bit soft, but stressing is no good! :-)

MadameBoo · 07/09/2011 19:08

Welcome Wishing (is that a song by WetWetWet?). I have only skimread but will make comments on yr beshtionnaire later.

starcuntmole · 07/09/2011 19:26

ishouldbesoluckyluckyluckylucky you are very firmly in in my book on two counts

  1. referring to us quite rightly as inner circle
2.Susan Kennedy: How her hair doth shine under the Australian sun

Do be careful on the kindly wishes of stress relief by relaxation though- around these parts we are more likely to wind down by kicking the living daylights out of each other or more subtle forms of torture- and there's usually an available den of worthy and nubile men for us to work our frustrations out on. (this time they're rugby players, feel free to add your own.

Sorry you find yourself in these parts- hopefully we'll help while away the wait until you win your baybee..which you will you will you will

kitty got all appendages crossed for minikit tomorrow.

OI biteme if you're still here...thinking of you, and lighting candle for biteymum hope all's successful tomorrow too.

lots of postive BESHwishes flying round the ether tonight-I may pop out with a net later and try and catch a few as they fly by.

MrBitey · 07/09/2011 19:29

InTheSunshine · 07/09/2011 20:48

Bitey!! lovely to see you. Ouch re stitches and the like. Sorry to hear about your Ma. Am sending the Good Vibes your way. Did you actually shot yourself whilst playing rugby?

Welcome Wishingwell. Susan Kennedy is an Interesting Choice! On your love of hotels & room service you have my vote.

Mole I luff you. That is all.

Kitkat crossing everything for you for tomorrow.

I had a dream last night that I met Mr Sunnys mum (she died when he was a baby). she told me we would have a baby. Am I mad to take this as a Good Sign? Boo is this good woo?

MrBitey · 08/09/2011 08:02

Just bad grammar sorry! It was very scary though!

inthepink I feel sure this is an omen. Did you tell MrS? How sad for him though to never have known her Sad Sad

Well I'm out this month. I seem to have developed a new symptom over the last few months of having the horn just before the bleeping starts. Does anyone else get that? It's got to the point where if I feel like I wanna get down and dirty at PMT time, I know I've not won.Confused Still,at least I got mine last night Wink

eurochick · 08/09/2011 15:11

Woop woop for the minikit!

Moley I always used to get the horn at PMT time. It seems to have calmed down in recent years though.

Sunshine that seems like great fertility woo. I am certain you will be upduffed veh shortly.

I have the ostrich egg laying sensation today. . I shall oblige Mr euro to service me one more time this cycle tonight before we get back to just doing it when we feel like it.

havealittlefaithbaby · 08/09/2011 15:55

Welcome wishing. I am fairly new myself! Susan from Neighbours certainly an interesting choice. Starting to think I should have chosen Phoebe's scientist bf from Friends Hmm
Cripes things have moved forward since I last posted! Delighted for you kitkat! Ace news!

macaroonie · 09/09/2011 15:14

'Lo schhlaalags,

Just had to come in and mention that although I wouldn't mind scrumming up with the Italian rugby team, they are, in fact, shit at rugby, but I suppose it doesn't matter when you look that good, right?

As you were.

InTheSunshine · 09/09/2011 17:41

Thank god it's Friday. This week went on forever. I am walking 20 miles tomorrow. Please pray for sunshine for me. What's everyone else up to?

starcuntmole · 09/09/2011 18:16

Are you bing sponsered inthebeginningwastheword? that sounds like an Awfully Long Way to walk? Will there be pubs?

I am going to a wedding tomorrow-friend of BBB so I know No One. And am mightily hoping that I remember I am a Grown Up and don't deal with not knowing anyone by getting Very Drunk. Unfortunately, knowing self as I do, I fear this is a vain hope, in which case I am consoling myself with fact that I know no one, and so they can't remind me afterwards what a disgrace I was.

Don't you love it when you're With Droid, and you meet someone with newborn twins, whilst simultaneously over hearing an aquaintance with a one year old telling your friend she's pregnant- '7 weeks, but I'm telling everyone because I'm excited'. Grrrrrr- pass me one of those rugby players to break work out on with. On the plus side, droid means I can drink tomorrow with inpunity impunity guilt free Grin

havealittlefaithbaby · 09/09/2011 18:42

Hooray it's Friday. I've had a shit week. I'm drinking Wine. In fact, I've almost finished a bottle already. Cheers!

havealittlefaithbaby · 09/09/2011 18:43

Feel for you cunt.

WishingIWasLucky · 09/09/2011 18:48

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. On cd 3. Had the shortest cycle EVER : 25 days. New to OPKs. How, when to use, when to target the shagfest -just exhausted about thinking about it all! All/any tips gratefully received. Friday already... Weeks are flying by. 2012 is upon us! Sorry for being so morbid. Can't get myself out of this depression. Can almost see next months stood already.

InTheSunshine · 09/09/2011 19:20

Mole I'm doing a Princes Trust challenge at the end of Sept so tomorrow is a training walk. Oh the joy of getting up at 6.30 on a Saturday!! Only good thing about Being With Droid is the guilt free drinking. I like your reasoning behind being able to get wasted too.

This week I have been to a maternity leave lunch, a 'oooh isn't it exciting I'm diffed' lunch and a can everyone fucking stop getting diffed lunch (me, on my own today!) it's bloody annoying isn't it.

wishaponastar have you been tracking your cycled or taking your temp yet?

Faith what are Fridays for if not for guzzling wine??

WishingIWasLucky · 09/09/2011 19:28

Inthesunshine: haven't been doing, as they are dwindling- always 28 day cycles, last two were 27 days, this one came after 25. Lost the will to live. Gonna get pissed 2nite. Sobriety doing me head in! Will do piss sticks from next week. As if that'll help?!

InTheSunshine · 09/09/2011 19:46

I never find piss sticks help me. Temping shows me when I ovulate. Acupuncture has helped me lengthen my cycles to 27 days from 23/24. Getting pissed will help more though Grin

WishingIWasLucky · 09/09/2011 19:50

Good tips inthesunshine! Will see which route we take once got my thinking head on! Down in the dumps at the mo! Thanks for the advice though! x
