Ladies, here we are.
Let's crack on.

OP posts:
ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 19/08/2011 08:36

Having re-watched the A-Team last night my current celebrity crush of choice is Bradley Cooper, although Christian Bale and Taye Diggs are still top of my Allowed List... Blush

Scarlet I totally agree with you that it's likely there won't be any progress on the CBD tomorrow which is why 4 more FRERs accidentally fell into my Amazon basket and are being delivered tomorrow therefore I will stick to trying to convince the internet cheapies over the next few days and leave the CBD until my period is due.

Mostly I will just be BROOKING NO ARGUMENT, and eating more vegetables in the next week than I have consumed over the last 28 years! It's bizarre, now that I actually think there just might be a teeny tiny little bean in there, trying to hang on, I desperately want to change my entire life to make sure that it has absolutely everything it needs! Seeing as there's nothing practical I can actually do at this stage (if this really is a stage!) then I will be consuming my body weight in vegetables, wholegrains, low fat proteins and many other things I usually can't stand! Grin

scarletfingernail · 19/08/2011 08:37

Bartlett Grin DH's just don't get it do they?

Congrats on your 4th BFP *Jaggy Smile

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 19/08/2011 08:37

Grin at Bartlet. I did the same thing when Scarlet and then Dream announced. My DH was equally bemused as to why I was telling him this...

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 19/08/2011 08:39

Yay for Jaggy and her indomitable control over the internet cheapies! I need to take some notes from you and get mine fully on board this weekend. Any hints and tips?

Yacka · 19/08/2011 08:41

hello newbie/lurker here Grin........
been lurking for a while and all the BFP here gives me hope.....not that good at pom poms yet but will keep in line with the rat smacking
bit of info bout me ttc#2 so far 13 months no luck, dd 20 months. just got all clear for clomid as diagnosed secondary infertility and pcos, without cysts just testosterone probs :( but been advised to wait and see if i get a natural period before comencing drugs........so im hopefully in last natural month of trying.
to as this thread states im already pregs just waiting for the sticks to agree :) speaking of poas....just ordered by first batch from amazon....sick of spendin my life savings on the expensive ones just for them to disagree with my positive mind :o
anyhoo!!!! congrats to jaggy and scream

scarletfingernail · 19/08/2011 08:42

Scream I know exactly what you mean. I've managed to consume 7 portions of fruit and veg each day since my BFP. Don't know if I'll be able to achieve it until the end but I'm giving it a good go.

I think I'm going to buy some FR today. As it was a FR one that confirmed the BFP in the first place, that's the one I'm going to compare with.

dreamfeeder · 19/08/2011 08:42

Bartlet, i did the same when scarlet got her BFP and told DH who was really confused as to why i thought he'd care Grin and that i was daring talk to him about the hated MN (hated by him, not me of course!!)

Maybe i'll buy a FR then scarlet but i would like some additional proof!!!

jaggy hooray!! you have proofed definitively that not all internet cheapies are dud. 4 BFP's is awesome Brooking No Argument

jaggythistle · 19/08/2011 08:48

scream apparently get the £4 something 10mIU ones from Amazon, they seem to rock for about 20p each!!

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 19/08/2011 08:49

I have to actually get some studying done today (otherwise I've just wasted all my annual leave on a bunch of exams that I will inevitably fail!) So if any of you see me back here this morning, before my lunch break, please remind me that I don't want to end up spending my own money on failed exams (rather than Firm money on successful exams!)

Scarlet if you are going down the FR route they cost £10.49 / £10.99 in Boots/Superdrug, but only £6.55 on Amazon... Plus Amazon are doing a free trial of their "Prime" membership which basically means you get next day delivery for free... I'm just saying. Ahem.

Jaggy big hugs!! I'll be checking in for your cheapies control tips later!

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 19/08/2011 08:52

(This post doesn't count as breaking my self-imposed morning ban because it's not 9 yet!)

Jaggy my internet cheapies are from ebay, but they're also supposed to be 10 mIU and they cost about the same as yours. Clearly I need to impress upon them the need to up their game!

NinjaChipmunk · 19/08/2011 08:53

well done all of you confirmed preggos. This thread is bloody fantastic.
And generic I feel left out too! After 16 months of this I am bored of trying to conceive and now I'd just like to get on with the actual pregnancy bit. But I am still positive as its impossible to be anything else on here. I've been enjoying the visualisation bit this month, may have to try it some more....
Oh and I've never seen the west wing before wither.

NinjaChipmunk · 19/08/2011 08:53

either not wither!

farfallarocks · 19/08/2011 08:54

Welcome yacka if anything can give you a miracle BFP its this thread it would appear!!

Huge congrats to jaggy and scream, such exciting news!! We are on a roll.

Scream don't worry about the strength of the lines on FR, all the different tests have different amounts of dye on them and it is not indicative of anything at all.

generic I am still here, don;t worry, we have to keep going until we all get BFPs ok? I am just wish AF would get a move on as I want to GET ON WITH IT.

OP posts:
NinjaChipmunk · 19/08/2011 08:56

hi yacka and welcome to the madness!

CakePigeon · 19/08/2011 08:59

imps I chart Fahrenheit rather than Celsius as it is easier for my tiny mind to identify the temp shift. What I will say is that I think my temp rises have all been slightly different and last month I randomly had a really slow temp rise but FF still put my cross hairs on the first temp which was only slightly higher than my pre ov temps. So basically yes, maybe but you'll probably have to see what your temp is tomorrow to be sure. Sorry, not vastly helpful!

Yacka · 19/08/2011 09:01

glad of the welcome :) just got to wait till the 26th at the earliest to see if af gets me before i commence mission fertilise haha so im gonna try my amazon cheapies wen they arrive.....only 8 days to go till my bfp Wink

GenericDietCola · 19/08/2011 09:04

Well done Jaggy and Scream! All sounds pretty conclusive to me! Great show, rat smackers.

Scarlet Gary is my favourite too after being a Howard fan in TT's original incarnation

Ninja, Farfalla, Maybe, Yacka, Bartlet and others still awaiting our BFPs - let's follow Dream, Scarlet, Jaggy and Scream's example and just CONCEIVE this month. None of this trying to conceive - we ARE conceiving - so there!

scarletfingernail · 19/08/2011 09:04

Welcome Yacka

generic ninja and farfalla your BFPs will be confirmed very soon. I just know it. There's no ways those pesky rats will escape this month.

farfalla when is AF not due? I thought we'd decided it was possible that you are upduffed already?

GenericDietCola · 19/08/2011 09:05

Yes, I thought that too Farfalla - any chance of a sneaky test?

DenyEverything · 19/08/2011 09:40

jaggy and scream - am delighted for you!!!!
Now, get over to the vomitarium and start peeing on some baking soda and wearing nausea sweatbands!

sorry

come on, more BFPS!!!

jenfraggle · 19/08/2011 10:02

So many BFPs! This really is a lucky thread. I'm on cd5 (or should that be pd5?) so have a while before I can confirm but with all you preggos here it is sure to rub off!

dreamfeeder · 19/08/2011 10:10

Yes farfalla, weren't you promising a friday test in case DH's swimmers had lasted 6 days for you??

I'm worried about joining the vomitorium already, won't that jinx me?!

And now look you fruit eaters. You've made me pick up an apple instead of a biscuit to go with my brew while DD naps. Will this counteract the 2 pizza meals i've had this week...??

generic and everyone else- the thread is working. You will ALL get your BFP's very, very soon.

farfallarocks · 19/08/2011 10:14

Yes, AF due today and have got brown spotting today and cramps so think we will be in full flow tomorrow. So Dh swimmers need to limber up big style for next month.

The positive is that this means my cycle is now a minimum of 27 days with a decent 11/12 day luteal phase, much better than 22-24 days and a rubbish 9 day phase which I think probably caused my miscarriage last time.

But it will happen next month, I know it will. Mostly because THE TIMING COULD NOT BE WORSE what with our trip to India, 3 weddings etc etc

OP posts:
maybebabyR · 19/08/2011 10:18

Oh my goodness, I slept in and missed all the excitemetn Grin

Congratulations Jaggy I knew you had done it this month Grin

And Scream CBD are far less sensitive than FR so if that's saying pregnant, I would totally forget that the FR lines are faint, you really are preggo Grin

GenericDietCola · 19/08/2011 10:21

Oh Farfalla good for you with your brooking. Many, many reasons this will be your month and great stuff re luteal phase. I suffer from that problem too occasionally, but the vit B seems to sort it out.

Jen I'm on CD6 so we are cycle buddies along with Solars so let's get rat smacking over the next week and confirm our pregnant status in 3 short weeks!

Dream get thee over to the vomitorium, but please stay here and keep in touch as well as I really shouldn't be lurking on the ante natal thread as much as I do
