Ladies, here we are.
Let's crack on.

OP posts:
jaggythistle · 19/08/2011 10:22

i think a lot of people find FRs a bit rubbish scream - you convinced a digital test!

Speaking of timing couldn't be worse - how the heck am I going to fake drinking to my entire workplace while at the do we're due to attend soon??? Last time i got DHto secretly drink my Christmas drinks, but I only had to convince my parents and his and they didn't notice Grin

Still can't believe it by the way, please pinch me regularly throughout the day....

dreamfeeder · 19/08/2011 10:23

lol maybe i've just got up and gone and taken it despite not full tummy etc (because i'm eating an apple with the World's Worst Mouth Ulcer- now that is sacrifice AND it won't fill me up!!!)

maybebabyR · 19/08/2011 10:28

Apples always make me hungry Dream How about some nice berries with some natural yoghurt and a bit of honey for its antiseptic properties?

Jaggy what is your tipple of choice normally? If it's wine, you could always just have a full glass, and pretend to sip it. Or, if it's spirits and mixer based, just have the mixer, and buy your own drinks all the time

mrsb33 · 19/08/2011 10:28

yo yo rat smackers!! thought id pop in with some good news, sorry ive been a bit loco the last week or so...

maybebabyR · 19/08/2011 10:29

MrsB COngratulations Grin Grin So pleased that elusive BFP has finally made itself known! But don't worry, that bean will be brooking no argument whatsoever Smile

DenyEverything · 19/08/2011 10:30

mrsB excellent news!

Biscuitsandtea · 19/08/2011 10:33

Yay - congratulations MrsB.

I really do think we should be charging for membership of this thread - we could make a mint!! I mean the success rates based on the last 3 days must be better than IVF and they charge thousands for that.

Imps7 · 19/08/2011 10:34

OMG

MrsB - congratulations, that is such fantastic news!

FIVE BFPs in 2 days!! Whoever has heard of such a phenomenon???

BartletForAmerica · 19/08/2011 10:42

Wow, MrsB. Another congratulations!

I am definitely not going anywhere now - this thread's success rate is too good!

dreamfeeder · 19/08/2011 10:52

MrsB, well done you, congratulations!!! Please join scarlet, scream, jaggy and I with the shivering wreck bag of nerves alternating with wild excitment crew on this side of the room

dreamfeeder · 19/08/2011 10:54

And now you're on here, in possession of Preseed and OPK's there is NO WAY you're not pregnant this month Bartlet

Robotindisguise · 19/08/2011 11:08

Dreamfeeder - where did you get your preseed from? Boots do something else but not that one

jenfraggle · 19/08/2011 11:16

I think Amazon do it robot

dreamfeeder · 19/08/2011 12:17

I got it from amazon robot. I hear good things about conceive plus too, but went with preseed from various recommendations on here Grin

just got another BFP, with a positive line darker than the control and showed up faster than the control. Phew.

CakePigeon · 19/08/2011 12:48

I used conceive plus for the first time this month- I hope it is as good as preseed! Fingers crossed

Well done dream you now sound very pregnant!!

GenericDietCola · 19/08/2011 12:50

Wow! Well done MrsB - we are doing brilliantly the last few days!

Dream glad you got another BFP!

maybebabyR · 19/08/2011 12:52

Glad you got another BFP Dream I bet the novelty never wears off once the BFPs start Smile

thelittlefriend · 19/08/2011 13:15

Oh my. Congratulations to Scream, Jaggy and MrsB for confirming what we already knew. It's going to be quiet around here with so many people graduating!

scarletfingernail · 19/08/2011 13:16

Congrats MrsB on your BFP. That's fantastic news.

Congratulations again dream on your second BFP. I hope that's put your mind at rest for a while.

Where is the vomitorium anyway? I had a wander around yesterday but could only find a stats thread. Could someone point me in the right direction? I might just have a quick look round and then claim my comfy chair and glittery bucket when I feel a bit more confident.

Any of you other preggos got any symptoms going on? I've got this really odd pulling sensation in my groin area, almost going into my thigh. WTF is that about, and is it normal?

Biscuitsandtea · 19/08/2011 13:27

Scarlet, the Vomitorium is just through these automatic doors here.

Repeat congratulations for all those getting repeat BFPs :)

I was nervous about going for the ante-natal threads and found myself in the freak out room (as you know) but I've found the brooking ante-natal to be good too, like this thread. I'm still not going near a bus - I don't know why. I think I feel nervous that they are all so blindly optimistic and statistically some are going to get bad news (sounds like an awful thing to say but I can't help it) so I've found my little early pg niche so far! The thing is, I wish I had that optimism and excitement but once it's gone, it's gone :( It's very odd that a bit of optimism puts me off when I love a bit of brooking, but there's just something different here.

All you preggos can come along through the doors whenever you like :) And those still awaiting confirmation are of course always welcome (perhaps if you need to remind you body that you are in fact preggers?). We run open afternoons every other Wednesday if anyone would like a tour and a prospectus Wink

scarletfingernail · 19/08/2011 13:43

Thanks Biscuits I've just popped over and done a quick intro.

Like you, I won't be jumping on any buses either. At least not in the near future. My reasons are exactly the same as yours.

Who's next to test?

Imps7 · 19/08/2011 13:43

Oh Biscuits

Totally understandable re: lack of optimism given past experiences, but WORRY NOT!!! We've got it in droves on your behalf! If ever you feel down or worried about lack of excitement, know that every single lady in this room and in the vomitorium are massively excited for you - that should be plenty enough to keep you going til little Crumby arrives in 32 weeks (have I got my maths right?)

Biscuitsandtea · 19/08/2011 13:47

Thank you Imps and Scarlet - it's true though you ladies have kept me sane this far! I am getting more positive I think and am trying to be as confident as possible, but I find the support on here (and the ante-natal thread) to be quite unique somehow and just what the doctor midwife ordered (as it were Hmm)

I am still so so so excited for all the BFPs you ladies have been churning out. Like some of you were saying earlier I told DH last night who looked ... ermmmm.... nonplussed? at why I was telling him this - oh well that's his problem. I'm delighted! Grin

thelittlefriend · 19/08/2011 13:48
Imps7 · 19/08/2011 13:51

Yeeeeesssss, so who is next to test?? Cake??? Is it you??? Or Farfalla if the spotting and cramps turn out to be nothing more than just spotting and cramps??

I'm not due for any stick peeing action until 31 August although I'm sure I'll fit a few sneaky ones in before then.
