Is it always quite so exciting here? I felt quite breathless at all the happy hysteria (and I don't mean that in a bad way!)

Scream, AF arrived yesterday after being several days late and a few BFNs, so I have used the Mumsnet ovulation calendar and marked the days that we will be SWI in the diary. DH is informed that we are getting pregnant this month and I have bought OPKs and Preseed from Amazon. We are good to go.

jaggy's DH wants to "SFF". What does that mean? For fun?

been awake for about the last hour and now DH is snoring. grr.

i got to sleep fine but nothing is working now. am also in the huff as a won't get 3 hours sleep in a row so my chart temp will be rubbish.

eventually got to sleep, then was woken up by DS bellowing 'MUUMMMY' at 4.30. you couldn't make it up!

he went on shouting and added in a request for mummy milk, so i eventually went and got him a drink of water. i reckon he's just thirsty and snottery from having had a cold. now asleep on my knee.

work is going to be fun today after about 4 hours sleep. yawn. Irn Bru to be acquired on way there i think...

Unfortunately mine wasn't quite what I was hoping for. There's still a really faint barely-there line on the FRER, but it doesn't appear to have changed at all from yesterday. There's also an even fainter (really super squint territory) line on my internet cheapy. I wouldn't call either of them a BFP though.

It's 12 DPO here, and this is the third faint line I've seen, so I'm really focusing on brooking no argument and trying not to think about chemicals so any positive thinking / no brooking assistance any of you could offer would be greatly appreciated!

Scream I have all my fingers and toes crossed that this sticks for you. 12dpo is still reasonably early to be testing isn't it. I mean not stupidly early but still quite early. When is/was AF due? I know when I googled when to test the Internet advice is something like you should wait until 18 or 19 dpo like who can wait that long?

But in any event I'm super hopeful that this IS your month. Try not to do any more tests today and see if you can get to tomorrow morning before you test again.

And remember - positive people get positive peesticks

Eeeek! Okay, well, in the spirit of BROOKING NO ARGUMENT I decided to break out my CBD. When I first tested this morning the lines on the FRER and the internet cheapy were so faint (painfully painfully faint) that I thought it wasn't worth trying the CBD. I've read online that the clearblues aren't as sensitive as the FRERs and internet cheapies, and I didn't want to upset myself with a BFN when waiting to tomorrow might give a better answer.

BUT then I decided to think positive, and just go for it! So I cracked it out and: Pregnant! 1-2 weeks!

Still very scared, particularly because it's a worrying sign that the FRER test isn't any darker than yesterday. It's literally so faint that at first glance you wouldn't even think anything is there at all. My DH had a right old squint at it this morning and eventually conceded that there is something there.

Argh!! So nervous!! Please help me stay sane positive today ladies!!

I now have only one CBD left, and no FRERs. In the interest of not bankrupting myself I will be hanging on to the CBD and trying again tomorrow morning I might also buy one more double FRER packet and use it over the weekend as well AFwould normally show up any time next week, could be Monday but to match my longest ever cycle it would arrive on Friday, so I'm focusing on getting past next week without letting her in!

Yay Scream and your plan for saving the other CBD until tomorrow sounds v good. Did you still use FMU on your CBD? again

Technically it was SMU on the CBD, but really I would count it as FMU simply because I didn't eat or drink anything between the FRER test at 6.45, and the CBD test around 7.30.

jaggy, if you've convinced internet cheapies you are amazingly well pregnant scream, i think CBD are more responsive than FR- they have been for me in the past anyway.

I have joined you on the sleepless night jaggy on account of Nerves and a Wobble... I've had some crampy lower abdo pain, but no bleeding or anything but i shall indeed be buying CBD asap and hiding the evidence from scroogy dh who says don't be ridiculous, unless Something Happens you're pregnant don't waste money

at deny and bartlet the doctors doing multiple tests. I shall in fact take that as medical advice to do more than one and ignore my dh- after all, they say don't take medical advice from your nearest and dearest

Scream you've had 3 faint lines and a "pregnant" - seems pretty clear that you're UP THE DUFF!!!!!

My slightly dull charting question is this - I had a temp rise this morning, but not a very big one. I don't chart when I've had a drink the night before as that artificially pushes my temp up - last night I didn't have anything, and it was 36.41, as opposed to 36.32, 36.30 and 36.28 for the preceding three nights. Last month it jumped up to 36.58 the day after OV. (I would post a link but for some reason FF isn't working just now).

So the question really is - does a small 0.1 shift still mean that it's likely I OVd? This may not be an answerable question of course - but just wondered if anyone has a similar pattern.

What an exciting few days for this thread. jaggy I really feel for you having to work today, it must be the last place you want to be right now what with having no sleep and then your confirmed BFP.

Scream If you use your remaining CB digi tomorrow, it will say pregnant 1-2 weeks, the same as the one you used this morning. As there are no lines to compare you won't see anything different. So, try and relax and enjoy your day. You are definitely pregnant, there is now no doubt!

dream I've been the same as you. I'm crampy in the same place and driving myself mad. I'm trying to steer clear of the CB digis this time as I find they make my anxiety even worse. (Bad experiences of the weeks not increasing made me ill with worry in past, before I'd even had anything to worry about). I know it's tempting, I just wish they'd never invented those ones, sometimes ignorance is bliss.
