Conception

When's the best time to get pregnant? Use our interactive ovulation calculator to work out when you're most fertile and most likely to conceive.

We are jolly well going to get preggers this month and keep it with some Rat smacking, pom pom waving, baking, visualising and brooking no argument. JUST FERTILISE!

Ladies, here we are.
Let's crack on.

OP posts:
DenyEverything · 18/08/2011 19:18

jeb glad I'm not the only irrational one!

jaggythistle · 18/08/2011 19:20
BartletForAmerica · 18/08/2011 19:25

No, first time watcher of The WW. Not sure how either of us missed it first time round but lots of people have said to us how jealous they are that we are getting to watch it for the first time! Smile

Well, my story? DS was conceived after 3m of TTC. He's now 12mo, still BFing about 2x day, been TTC #2 for 4-5m now, regular-ish AF (cycle ALWAYS 24 days pre-preg) but now 26-30 days. Had always planned (hoped?) that I would be pregnant by his birthday, but never mind. This month, I AM going to be pregnant.

DenyEverything · 18/08/2011 19:25

Excellent jaggy. when I did my first test this time, it was in the evening and there was virtually no line. When I plucked it out of the bin at 5am next morning, definite pink line. Just sayin'.

thelittlefriend · 18/08/2011 19:38

Oh Dream, well done you. Lots of love and congratulations.

Scream and Jaggy I'm so excited for you both, can't wait to see your bfp confirmations tomorrow!

I'm overwhelmed at the excitement of this thread today!

jenfraggle · 18/08/2011 19:39

Not the only one cake and I haven't seen House either

Biscuitsandtea · 18/08/2011 19:45

Coe blimey!! I can barely believe what I'm reading here!

You girls are amazing! the following is a random collection of comments i can remember of what I've read. Apologies if I've forgotten anyone / anything.

BlushGrin at the 'blooming hood job' thing from earlier. Love the idea of us all looting M&P in our hoodies Grin

I have to confess I was celebrating with scones and cream on my own as DH had gone back to work. haven't our DHs fallen short in the celebrating stakes?

Also GrinGrin at Imps betting Scream re the pee stick Grin

Erm, can't remember anything else today. I had my booking in appt today. M/W seemed nice, scan booked for when I'm 12-13 weeks ish and I'll have to be consultant led as DS was (1day) prem and I was such a mess 'down there' after Blush.

Good luck to Scream and Jaggy tomorrow morning. Can't wait for the confirmations Grin

jaggythistle · 18/08/2011 19:47

Eek deny.

my brooking is quite wobbly and i won't feel better till i see a line within 10 mins!

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 18/08/2011 19:58

Jaggy my brooking is suffering from the intensity of today as well! I'm petrified of what the sticks might show tomorrow. I just feel like I'm on a knife edge - even if the faint lines weren't purely imaginary, it would still be incredibly early days, and I'm really worried that I might have had a chemical pregnancy last month... argh - just wish I could turn my mind off for the next 10 hours! (am already upstairs and in my pjs Blush just want to sleep through the waiting!)

Bartlet this month IS your month!! Dream has already led the way on ttc while bf, and Jaggy will be confirming the same tomorrow! What cycle day are you on? Are you in the 2ww yet?

Biscuits hurray for the booking in appointment! Glad you've got a nice midwife. I hope you're happy with consultant-led? Although obviously there's no need for them to worry about you, because you've got a NO BROOKING bean firmly snuggled up inside you!

Biscuitsandtea · 18/08/2011 20:01

Scream happy with cons-led - I doubt it will make much diff until the end and I don't mind someone keeping a watchful eye on me in case the same thing happens!

Keep brooking ladies

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 18/08/2011 20:02

Oops! That last post was verging on the negative! This month IS my month after all, and those lines WERE verified by DH and I will be brooking no argument from those pee sticks tomorrow! I am a positive person and therefore a positive pee stick is in order!

Take that you ratties!

GenericDietCola · 18/08/2011 20:05

Oh goodness! It's all go on here and I fell all left out

Well done Jaggy I had a good feeling when you said you were tired. And Scream don't worry mate, you are deffo up ze duff. If OH saw a line, a line was indeed there.

Scarlet and Dream you seem like old hands by now!

Crikey, roll on the SWI for me and confirmation in mid-September!

maybebabyR · 18/08/2011 20:31

I go to the gym for a few hours and look what you lot have gotten up to!!!

Jaggy I am so excited for you. Will be glued to this (as if I am not usually)

We are on a roll ladies. We have started as we mean to go on. There will be no brooking of any kind over the coming months. You hear me rats???

I too have never seen West Wing, but my Mum has the box set

maybebabyR · 18/08/2011 20:32

And Generic Don't feel left out, I'll hold your hand and feed you multiple baked goods whilst we wait for our BFPs Smile

CakePigeon · 18/08/2011 20:34

It's ok generic you can join me on the side lines cheering on the confirmed preggos as we wait until it's our turn, we can get some sort of cheering routine going to provide moral support Grin

CakePigeon · 18/08/2011 20:39

Oh maybe cross posts, your idea of baked goods sounds much more sedate, I like it!

maybebabyR · 18/08/2011 20:41

Well Cake human pyramids are dangerous in our obviously pregnant states, so I figure cake is the way forward Smile

CakePigeon · 18/08/2011 20:45

Here here, bring on the baked goods Grin I'm sure we can wave pom poms from a sitting position

Imps7 · 18/08/2011 20:46

Hurrumph - OH has returned home in a grumpy strop. No lovin' for me tonight.

On the plus side, this leaves me with more time to work on my cheerleader routine for the BFP Confirmation Fest tomorrow.

maybebabyR · 18/08/2011 20:48

I had the same trouble with my DH Imps Apparently he was too tired Hmm I thought it was our prerogative to decline sex whenever we wanted Smile

jaggythistle · 18/08/2011 21:20

think I need an early night too.

DH has indicated a preference to SFF, he'd better drag himself away from the playstation soon though, cos I'm away to bed.

To sleep peacefully and not think about POAS at all.

jaggythistle · 18/08/2011 21:21

Sorry that post does not sit at all well with the non SWI ing DHs, sorry! Blush

maybebabyR · 18/08/2011 21:26

Haha Jaggy you make me chuckle Grin

jaggythistle · 18/08/2011 21:27

:)

jaggythistle · 18/08/2011 21:34

see you in the morning.....
