Let's face it May 2012 is full of bank holidays leading up to an extra day off thanks to the Queen. We are all bound to get updiffed and miss the time off -(where we should be in the pub) looking after our new babies.

A bus for those who find it difficult to remember new names. Ting ting - no getting off untilk a BFP.

Starting the stats Bleats (31) TTC#1 af due 31st Aug ish

Waiting - I'm afraid I'm going to have to move on...got my BFP yesterday! Couldn't believe it, had only bought cheap Tesco tests as it was officially a day early and didn't want to waste money, but then they were both positive so I splashed out and treated myself on a CBD today, pregnant 2-3 weeks! Woohoo! Hope you're joining me soon!

WaitingforStork · 14/09/2011 07:33

That's great Knitty - congratulations!!!

I'll hang round here on my own til I fall off one way or the other.

Did you have any symtoms in the end? Did you suspect at all. I'm feeling very normal, not pms or anything and af due between Monday and Thursday. If still not here by Friday I will probably test and hopefully join you!

Good luck in case I don't make it on to your next bus!

x

Congrats knitty, see you on ante-natal bus!

Thanks for your good wishes bleats

Best of luck this week storky, I will keep popping on to see how you're doing!

The ante-natal bus is friendly, but not as cosy as this mini-bus! x

180 · 14/09/2011 18:39

wow! Congrats Knitty, that's fab news.

Storky I'll keep an eye on ya too... Smile

knittymum · 14/09/2011 19:06

Thank you all! Waiting - not really many symptoms at all. Boobs were maybe a tiny bit tender, but I thought I was imagining that, TBH. TMI alert Maybe extra CM, but not really anything else. I couldn't believe it at all, but today I got totally exhausted and had to have a nap on the sofa whilst the kids watched batman and allo allo - such intellectual TV in our house!! Good luck for the end of the week!

WaitingforStork · 15/09/2011 07:51

It's so nice of you all to keep popping in, driving an empty bus while singing 10 green bottles gets wearing after a while.

Well, if af doesn't show today the that's as late as she's ever been...Been an anxious few days of knicker checking but doesn't really feel like she's on her way. I have sore boobs and a few craps but they feel a little different to ususal (and I'm silently beginning to hope, despite early BFN that really was taken far too early to mean anything).

Normally af cramps feel like they are more down one side (usually my left) and are a twisting tightening type of cramp that makes me want to lean over to relieve it. Having a few cramps now and again but they feel more across the middle and it doesn't feel like the same twisting. Could just be that I'm reading far too much into everything in a desperate attempt to sneak on board the anti natal bus wth you ladies.

I've just re read that paragraph above and I missed out the m in every cramp, so re read it with crap instead of cramp - think I'm loosing my mind (can I cound that as a symptom?!).

I have a day off tomorrow so will test as some point if she hasn't shown up in the mean time. Would be lovely to snek out and buy a 'I love Daddy' babygrow to give DH as a pressie to break the news... definately getting ahead of myself now, bet she's here by lunchtime!

WaitingforStork · 15/09/2011 07:53

Really, just read that again, inability to spell or form a proper sentence. Definitely counting that as todays symptom.

Byrnsie30 · 15/09/2011 09:20

Got my fingers crossed for you stork

You will be not alone on here when you finally find out. I will pop on, and will hopefully have reason to congratulate you. You are doing very well having done only 1 early test! x

I myself am still freaking out, checking knickers all the time, including several times during the night, and feeling that due to lack of symptoms there must be something wrong!

I need to stop worrying and just enjoy it! Going to do another CBD on Saturday as I should be 6 weeks PG by then, so it should show as 3+ on the test! x

knittymum · 15/09/2011 21:59

Stork - fingers crossed for you for tomorrow! Losing your mind is definitely a valid symptom. I keep finding myself standing in the middle of a room with no idea why I went there, and I'm totally blaming it on my little apple seed!

Byrnsie - I'm glad I'm not alone with the knicker checking! I've been tired, but apart from that (and the forgetfulness, which is debatable as a symptom really!) I've no other proper symptoms.

180 · 15/09/2011 22:40

have you tested yet Mrs??? Grin

WaitingforStork · 16/09/2011 07:23

Moring ladies!

Well, treated myself to a packet of FR last night on way home, to take this morning, only for af to arrive when I had my shower last night.

Gutted, couldn't have done any more this month but back to the drawing board again I suppose. Had a good cry and a nice cuddle. Cycle 9 here we come. Not sure I'll hop on another bus for a bit. It's great for the support and lovely to hear so many people getting their good news but does make it harder when you don't.

Thanks for all the support, I have the day off so going to take the dog for a nice long walk somewhere and go to the pet shop and buy him and the horse some treats to cheer myself up.

xxx

So sorry to hear that Storkie. Have really enjoyed being on the bus with you so do come back when you feel ready! Each time I do the ttc I think that I'm going to get it right first time, bit like and exam. I spent the last two months absolutely positive this was it, but somehow this month i was more Meh! when AF arrived which was quite an advance for me!

Good luck and hope you have lots of lovely treats and get very drunk!

Byrnsie30 · 16/09/2011 13:14

So sorry to hear she got you Stork. Best of luck next month! x

Bleats · 17/09/2011 08:40

Hello everybody!

Sadly I am back. Turns out that my BFP was a chem baby. Have been bleeding since Wednesday of last week Sad. Oh well! Try again this month!

Sorry to hear about those who have also been caught out by AF. Good luck for the coming month! x x x

Byrnsie30 · 20/09/2011 18:04

Hi Harmony

Didn't want your post to go unanswered. So sorry for your loss. Hopefully you will join the next bus with the other ladies who fell off. Best of luck for the future x
